    I bought a Kraton 6S v5, and I've been going over these methods. After a few broken parts, I'm finally jumping and landing with height and distance.
    I saw this movie ages ago and always remembered these tips.
    And today, your movie rolled on my feed, so I had to jump on and say Cheers again Mate.
    I'm buying a Typhon 6S V5 next 😈

    As someone new to rc this was a great video. I loved the overlay of the controller too as it was helpful seeing that. I took my new krayton 6s out the day after I got it and was playing around with it and landed some backflips. I was trying to figure out how throttle affected it in air. Seeing this makes sense.

    I loved this. A wonderful demonstration of "Conservation of Angular Momentum" in the air. Spin the wheels forward, the car rotates backwards and vice versa.

      Weil ich es sehe, du bist auch aus München. Gleich mal ne frage an dich:

Schont Getriebe/Differentiale enorm. Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen :-)

    I'm so surprised that simply throttling or braking in the air does so much to control your landing, It seems to be defying gravity to me. Very cool! Thanks for the video

    Love the video and must say well done, ya earnt yaself a subscriber. Quick question. When looking to invest in a freestyle jump trick car, what in your opinion should I be looking for? For example, do some cars turn quicker in the air? are some motors better to have than others? does wheel size matter.

    You shouldn’t land with throttle or brake tho

  • @V8chump

    Could someone enlighten me on why my e revo 2.0 seems to REALLY kick the back end up when I jump sometimes? Tried tuning the suspension but I’m not sure it would be that harsh... maybe I letting off throttle too early? but sometimes (it seems like when I’m going fast) my car flips nearly 90 degrees and nosedives making me have to hammer the throttle to correct while other jumps on the same ramp are perfectly level and smooth 🤔

    • @modelflight
      @modelflight  3 года назад

      @Hearthstoned there are many factors that can contribute to this type of reaction off a jump face. A poor jump face can cause the issue and there is not much setup you can do to fix this. Also letting off the throttle too early can cause a nose down attitude. What I expect your issue is related to is that the rear suspension is too soft and allows the back end to rebound very quickly. I suggest increasing the oil weight and seeing if that helps.

    • @V8chump
      @V8chump 3 года назад

      @@modelflight it’s a home made smooth plastic ramp, I assume the fact that it’s so smooth is also the reason I can’t do backflips well? (Planning on adding skateboard grip tape material to it soon)

    • @modelflight
      @modelflight  3 года назад

      @@V8chump Not sure sorry without seeing it but our comments before are consistent with normal issues. Doing a backflip relies on the speed. throttle pull and angle on the jump face (needs to be sharp on the lip)

    Hello again! Does hitting the brakes while the vehicle is in the air and then versing cause damage to gears or is this type of activity built into the engineering of these type RC vehicles that You know of? I ask because that is a fear I have about these expensive tuff toys. I have seen some pretty nightmarish videos of damaged RC cars where the cost to repair them can be outrageous when added. Thanks.
