I own the ronin s and it does not compare to this thing. The only thing I would say it beats the moza in is a more metalic construction. But then again that adds weight which most of y’all are moaning about anyway. And if the weebil lab is so good then why does it have such terrible reviews? Besides, you can’t compare the two because they are in two totally different classes. You can’t put an FS7 on a weebil lab like you can the Moza air 2. Like I said two totally different classes.
This is the Ronin S but like one year later. It is noticable how there is no menrion to specs where the ronin s beats moza like workload. Also, no video samples like other videos ( like the one they go to a bar with the gimbal )
I purchased the moza air 2 and it kept falling asleep and turning off randomly. The gimbal was balanced correctly too. Also the build quality feels way cheaper than a 600 dollar product. The build quality between the dji and moza is night and day. I went with the ronin s and had zero issues. Also the battery thing was annoying taking them out and having a separate charger. I don’t know. This seemed to be more of an ad for moza than an actual opinion about it.
That was happening to me with Moza Air 2S but eventually, I found that it was happening as my Roll axis was locked and Moza instead of giving clear message, kept going in sleep mode and eventually turn off.

If he's clueless, why is he reviewing these and if not, why is he stating stuff that isn't true. Although I like Moza and the video with it flaws gives quite good picture of the gimbal. I own Ronin S myself.
You keep talking about how this gimbal is unique and everything and how it is the first to do some things but this is just a copy of the Dji ronin s. Gimbals like the ronin s zhiyun crane 2 or 3 and a few others have had these feautures you talk about for months now! Just make honest reviews man!
I was buying what you were saying up until 7:19. Ronin S has this and it came out months ago. Being in industry you are in there is NO WAY you haven't heard of it. Good luck hearing anything back from DJI as they hands down have the most awful customer service.
Hey Fstoppers! I predict about half your comments will be on how this is also accomplished by Ronin S. Could you have overlooked at the DJI gimbal while exalting this one?
@@YoungBlaze and you ridiculously believe that DJI doesn't "pay them" as well...? and the Feiyutech AK 2000/4000 aswell... but overall a good review. I would love to know if the Moza Air 2 can be positioned by Hand without the motors trying to work against you.
@@kanocularTV well, it does say patent pending on their website, so actually, right now, nothing is protected, nor guaranteed if it will even go through. And i have to add, i never even heard of pilotfly before, even though i live in Germany and work in the Film Industry... have to check them out.
seems very similar to dji ronin-s. would be useful to see a comparison if you have that one. it also has "inception mode" and many other features you've listed. is this just an ad or is this a real review?
I know of at least 3 other gimbals that do just about everything you have talked about in this review, some of which are cheaper. Check out the Dji Ronin S, FeiyuTech AK2000 or AK4000 and some of the new Zhiyun gimbal models. Do your homework before you start talking like this is the only gimbal with these functions. Its actually about 12 months behind.
I too found it odd that you didn't mention the DJI Ronin-S at 7:19 considering the Ronin-S and Pilotfly Adventurer have already been doing the inception mode for a while. There's a few times in this video where I felt you overlooked the existence of these other competitive gimbals. With that being said, this looks like a promising gimbal but I'm going to pass simply because I'd like a gimbal with a removable handle (like the Ronin-S and Pilotfly Adventurer) for easy storage on my travels. Everything else seems solid though and you did a decent overview of it's features.
There are currently around 6 Gimbals on the market that have 'Inception' Mode, and run a test to ensure the Gimbal is correctly balanced. FStoppers are clearly not testing ALL gimbals like they state in this video. Not impressed by this gimbal, or the video. So much false information. And it seems very biased.
Even the design of this thing is an almost exact copy of the DJI Ronin-S - unthinkable that you didn’t notice that after all the buzz around the Ronin when it first came out.
Huh. I always looked at Fstoppers as people who knew their shit. Until now. Either you've missed DJI AND Zhiyun entirely or you're blatantly lying. Neither option makes you look very professional..
I think for a GH5, the Zhiyun Weebill Lab is smaller, has all the same features plus the underslung mode for the same price. The Weebill Lab is definitely better for travel or being discreet.
Seriously, and I think the Ronin s is actually cheaper. 599usd vs 499usd (Ronin). There is nothing mentioned in this video that "blows" the ronin s away. Silly.
Because you can control each motor’s power, follow or lock it instantly without going through the menu. I do think it’s a better buy than Ronin even if they copied the design.
Fin Park I think you’re talking about the trigger. Yes, the trigger locks all the motors. But with the Moza, you can follow or lock one of each axis on the gimbal with a press of button without navigating through the menu or the app. And you can change the power of each motor axis on the gimbal too without using an app. And also the responsiveness / deadpan can be controlled instantly with the scroll wheel.
I would suggest reading my honest reviews about this gimbal somewhere in this thread. Short story is avoid this thing like the plague. It is absolute garbage. The features are cool and it generally works well but it also tends to freak out and do a forced multi-axis spin then drop the camera out of its lousy base plate. There is just so much wrong with this gimbal. Save up for the DJI or just go glidecam.
I'm actually really sad about this video. I've been watching this channel for years, and had built up trust in its views. Videos like this destroy trust. I don't know how I feel about this channel anymore, and that's a shame.
I could use some help here. I have a large LED device that goes into the flash-socket of my camera. With the battery attached to it it weighs quite a lot. How do I combine my light-solution with a gimbal? Can I attach this to the front of the gimbal instead of the flash-socket? How how do you do that?
Does the handle unscrew? I have the Moza Air, and the bottom unscrews where you remove the batteries. Its great because it fits in my bag perfectly. If not, guess Ill stick with the first model as this will be too big
There is just no way you guys dont know about the Ronin S - and that just makes this a video that tells all of us that you cant be trusted in any of the reviews you make. Thats just sad. I really thought I could learn from this channel, but now there is no point watching anything you make.
YoungBlaze I dont think the Air 2 is that old. As far as I can tell the Ronin S showed up a few months earlier and fstoppers just had to know about it.
I understand your sentiment but the end may be a bit of a leap.. end of the day, they are photographers, we all know these sponsored vids/ads/paid reviews (whichever) always seem a bit forced and cringey.. but I let them off as we all need to earn and eat, 99% of the rest of their youtube content is fantastic... and free. Hello, When I turn on my Moza Air 2, it displays an error message that says "ERROR! (02)". How do I resolve this problem? I have a professional shoot on Friday and I really need to fix this. Thank you.
What an awesome video. This Moza Air 2 looks like a great piece of gear I may have to look into. Can you guys do a video like this for the Nikon Z7 & Z6 👌😏
When I saw the thumbnail I knew this was going to be a bad review. I wasn't dissapointed. But I'm still looking forward for my MA2 to arrive next week.
Awesome review literally every single thing that I hate about my Ronin MX this gimbal is covering all that. Now the question is how the heck do I get rid of my Ronin?
Are you living under a rock? All of the features you described are available in other gimbals. The first to angle the back to not block access to the screen was Pilotfly H2 45 (the gimbal I own), which was actually patented by the company. That gimbal can also roll (what you call "Inception mode"), can plug in to charge the batteries that last for more than 20 hours, etc. Then most of the other features you discribed are available on the Ronin S (which also wasn't the first to offer a roll feature and an angle back, even though some people are under that impression) , and even some of the design of the Moza shown here was directly copied from the Ronin S. So much misinformation!!! Lastly, reviewing a gimbal with no footage is truly pointless.
I was actually interested in this product, but after seeing him reviewing it, it makes me believe that's its total vice versa. So obvious that they paid him..
Shooting first wedding this weekend and I was practicing the Obit shot on my Moza Air 2 but I couldn’t get my camera to stay orient to the center subject by locking down the three axis es and walking around the subject... must be missing something???
I'm lost on these comments. So just because he prefers the moza air 2 over something like the dji ronin s it makes the video sucks?? And if he is paid for the review whats the problem? He makes great content and great content isn't cheap. From the software and equipment....great review man.
Absolutely sad to see you guys sell away... like we get it you need sponsors that’s not the point! But say it in the beginning... it’s super obvious you got paid to forget about the ronin s. Shame on you guys
Is it just me? I watched this video when it was released and until today i won't believe any other video by him anymore. You always suspect that he might be doing an ad again :/
For those who have had issues with the Moza air 2 and still want to fix it. Take a look at this video. My Gimbal works like brand new - ruclips.net/video/TQ0bcENL3GQ/видео.html
The dismissal of the other products is so frustrating. They're good, but because they're not "different" they're insinuated to be bad. Which isn't the case
I have this MA2 and it is spectacular and easy to use. I love it. BUT, there is so many untruths in this video. Not fussed if your paid review is bias etc...but do the correct research.
Any idea if the Moza Air 2 can only adjust focus on a canon camera with the optional ifocus accessory, or it is possible to adjust focus electronically similar to the Zhiyun Crane 2?
I own the ronin s and it does not compare to the moza air 2. It’s heavier and more expensive for one thing. Secondly you can get a follow focus and moza air 2 for the cost of the ronin s by itself. But the biggest issue I have with the ronin s is when you are in flashlight mode and you pan and tilt, the gimbal freaks out and does this weird kick and ruins your shot. I sold my moza air 1 to get the ronin s because of the payload capacity and physical size for balancing bigger cameras. Other than the physical space required to balance front heavy lenses I would have kept the moza air 1. It never freaked out even when doing the craziest pans and tilt combinations. Y’all who are shouting Ronin s are ignoring a lot In order to do so. And this thing is not competition to the weebil lab. They are two totally different gimbals for different purposes. You can’t even balance an e mount sigma art lens on the weebil lab. It does not have enough physical space to balance front heavy lenses like that. You guys are smokin too much to even start to compare the moza air 2 and weebil lab so please let’s not start that discussion. The moza air 2 is a beast and nothing on the market can touch it in its class of weight capacity, price, and features. I speak from experience not fan boy beliefs. Try the moza air2 and return it if it does not live up to the hype. Unless you get a defective unit I’m willing to bet you won’t return it. And none of y’all are even mentioning the fact that many other reputable channels are calling this a ronin s killer.
I use the gimbal for a shoot and I took the camera off the slide plate, thats it. When I went to use it again the lever that locks the camera down just spins as if it was stripped. I wrote an email to Gudsen just to ask what I could do and all I got back is, "Please kindly offer us a receipt to tell when and where you bought it, the S/N number of the gimbal, thank you!" I provided them with the info and after that nothing. Its Been TWO WEEKS. All I want to know is if it could be fixed and where I could get the part. Thats shouldn't be to hard to do for a company that has about 30 that I know of RUclipsrs that have been PAID to endorse this product. I also think if people who endorsed this product don't give true reviews they are doing a disservice to their viewers and should be held accountable just as much as the company. If we follow them we are trusting their opinions, thats why we smash that like button! In the long run it will hurt the RUclipsr that backs crap for profit or a free crappy gimbal.
"Inception Mode" ? Man, its called barrel roll. Its on ronin s, Weebill, and still you say "I've never heard of another gimball that have that'. Really?
Great review and totally appreciate you doing it. I'm sure there will be comments from others, but I'll bet THEY haven't used as many gimbals's as you and your team have in real-world environments and can speak intelligently on them. It's like a car. They all get you from A-B. The premise behind ALL gimbals is to steady footage. DJI and others are designed to do that. What bells and whistles each has are what is nice behind reviews. Some may want the options, others may not. Buy a car with or without air conditioning. Buyer's choice. Keep up the good work.
thanks for your video. I bought the gimbal 3 days ago and I have a doubt that I do not know if it can solve me. Can you control the ifocus with the iphone app? Thanks!!!

Hi mate, I think feiyutech AK4000 will be better than this one. Could you help do a test and make a video? I can send you a sample.
I was actually interested in this product, but after seeing him reviewing it, it makes me believe that's its total vice versa. So obvious that they paid him..
Does it has a cable for canon 80d?
Wow, this thing does it all! Haha! Thanks for the video, very informative.
Is it able to portrait mode?
How does this do compared to FeiyuTech Ak2000?
Shooting first wedding this weekend and I was practicing the Obit shot on my Moza Air 2 but I couldn’t get my camera to stay orient to the center subject by locking down the three axis es and walking around the subject... must be missing something???
Is it compatible with fujifilm xt3..?
Sir, is it works Sony a7 series?
What about the Benro RedDog F1?
Plz suggest low prices products for making mobile video
Can you power this with a power bank with no batteries inside?
No. You need batteries in it for no logical reason whatsoever. You'll need more power, i.e. a vmount battery.
@@HikingWithCooper thanks for the reply
For those who have had issues with the Moza air 2 and still want to fix it. Take a look at this video. My Gimbal works like brand new - ruclips.net/video/TQ0bcENL3GQ/видео.html
The dismissal of the other products is so frustrating. They're good, but because they're not "different" they're insinuated to be bad. Which isn't the case
How to switch back to English mode from Chinese mode in Menu screen? Thanks
Can the focus wheel control the tilt and pan along with the roll?
I have this MA2 and it is spectacular and easy to use. I love it. BUT, there is so many untruths in this video. Not fussed if your paid review is bias etc...but do the correct research.
The threads on my quick release won’t tighten, have you run into this problem with yours?
My brand new Moza Air 2 has problem with Fn button, after go to sport mode I can't switch back. Seem like the Fn button has problem. :(
Its a good copy of ronin s
But still good but how u never hear about ronin s :P? I know sponsored video ....
Any idea if the Moza Air 2 can only adjust focus on a canon camera with the optional ifocus accessory, or it is possible to adjust focus electronically similar to the Zhiyun Crane 2?
Why my sony a7iii is not supporting it
How does the MOZA Air 2 work with a 1dx mkII?
Not a review, rather a showcase .. this is why they are in Costa Rica lol
Ok Moza salesmen.
@@RayValdezPhotography Try both and dont assume.
I had the moza air 1 but my bmpcc 4k is pushing its limits
I think the DJI has the inception mode.
It does
The Original Moza Air had it before the Ronin S was released.
"Inception Mode" ? Man, its called barrel roll. Its on ronin s, Weebill, and still you say "I've never heard of another gimball that have that'. Really?
Can this fit in a Lowepro Protactic 450 AW II?
Have you heard about the DJI Ronin-S.... It's almost the same...
Just wonder Moza Pay you how much for this video?
Would this work with the BMPCC 4K? I know it's a bit wider than the camera used here so it may not balance.
Thanks!!!
CLOUT!!!
