JAM pedals are astonishingly good and are my new favorite build. Been using the Lucydreamer and Waterfall chorus (bass versions) for recording bass lines for a few months now and they are stellar in every regard! The flexibility they offer without altering your core tone/EQ curve is priceless. Might have to get one for the guitar board now. Recently picked up the Rattler and it's another huge winner. Highly recommend anything they produce.
Great to see the Deluxe feature in the last couple of videos, it's a great guitar.
Indeed it is! It had been in its case for a while. Thats one of my very top favorite guitars.
I have the Lucy Dreamer Supreme. With the clean blend it's fantastic into a dirty amp
MAXON Vintage Overdrive Pro has the mix knob - can only verify that the mix thingy is great. I have just ordered a LucyDreamer too as I like the idea of the two stage gain. The MAXON is on my (big) pedal board and I needed an overdrive for a mini pedal board (only three pedals), which I can easily pack and transport to use with my Fender DRRI for small gigs and jam sessions. I like the LucyDreamer as its not a tubescreamer type solution but more in the direction of blues driver, where the EQ is more neutral.
Sounds very nice, especially with that Les Paul. I never buy expensive pedals, but I respect those who do. I prefer to put money into the actual guitars.
My Nutube tubescreamer has the mix knob. Honestly I tried it for a few seconds and haven’t tried it since, it’s just in the stock noon position. I have a way huge pork loin which is built around mixing a dirt drive a ‘clean’ Neve preamp signal, honestly a very complex pedal that I have a hard time dialing in and knowing what is doing what? But what you said about dialing in a harder overdrive and mixing in more clean signal makes sense to me, I will approach those pedals from that point of view.
noon position means you actually use the mix as opposed to full wet like most drives are?
@@stefanstrittmatter6459 I honestly don’t know? I read/heard noon is like a stock TS9. But if noon is stock, what is it then all the way counterclockwise?
@@voxpathfinder15r since a regulart ts doesnt have a mix control all the way up is like stock. and all the way counterclockwise only gives you the dry signal.
Would the mix feature help those running a clean high headroom amp achieve compression and saturation from the overdrive with the mix knob fully wet whereas a typical overdrive has the feedback loop sending dry signal to the amp making your sound harsh and peaky?
Hey Jack. Would you prefer this to a Boss Blues Driver or Blues Driver Keeley mod?
And a million miles away (rory Gallagher)
so how does this fly on your Blues Jr.?
Not impressed I'll stay with my Fulltone pedals
The Mosfet is the only Fulltone drive pedal I particularly enjoyed.
