I liked the pedal, it had a wide range of drives from crisp and boosted to over the top distorted. Your demo jam really highlighted how versatile it is. Thanks.
The JucyDreamer is a Tube Screamer too but it is a bit of an oxymoron because it is a high gain ts. MP Custom FX makes the Gainiac which i s a JucyDreamer too. They have been making sit since the 80's but being an obscure little company in Serbia they mostly sell thru word of mouth. Anyhow it is really well made sounds amazing and has the longest sustain of any pedal I've every tried. Best of all it is only $100.00 USB.
@@PeteThorn hey Pete! Love your videos and your playing! Good stuff dude. Quick question- if the tubedreamer is a tubscreamer, is the Lucy dreamer more of a klon, or is it more of a blues breaker? Nobles? Can’t find anything on what kind of of circuit it is. Would be a big help! Thanks Pete!
Pete, who makes your favorite T style guitar? I’m looking for a great guitar for recording mainly. Been looking at Suhr, Nash, Macmull and Anderson Guitarworks. Any major differences, and good/bad experiences with recording them?
Hi Pete, as usually (I repeat myself as an old man but I'm "only" 37) you are such a source of inspiration and motivation of guetting better and work harder to reach the level we target!!! By the way I just received my beautiful CHARVEL Pro Mod DK24 HSH 2PT SOC (Mexican series) and I don't know if you've tested them, both the Mexican or the US..? But if yes: what is your impressions?? And if no: what do you think of this incredible amount of work CHARVEL (with Jackson and Fender too) have made these past years to propose us all those incredibles professionnals and solids guitars which can delivers way more than the 80's Charvel sound but almost ALL the rock/metal tone we have heard and loved since??!!! Cheers from France Pete, and to answer to a previous message: Yes we love Pete here in France, as well as we love the USA!!!
Hi Pete Amazing stuff you make really inspiring Excuse my remedial question I’m getting into building a home studio What are your thoughts about DAW Use use logic?
Hi Pete! When boosting a crunchy plexi style amp, do you prefer a ts style like the double dreamer, or more a klon type pedal, tumnus or similar? Thanks!
That's just the nature of using the internal cam in the mac for the livestream as opposed to a quality Sony A6000 cam when I film, I've tried to use my zoom cam for livestream but it craps out and disrupts the stream. So it's low tech but hey whaddya gonna do..
Purchased the pedal; came back to watch your video months later, because the day has been stressful & disheartening and needed some positive energy. You delivered, man. And once again, you also made me glad I bought a pedal you’ve demo’d, when I see its potential. Thx for being a positive and healing force with your music and teaching! Am considering purchasing this pedal, and your video was a great blend of helpful, concise explanations and sonorous demonstration. Excellent job with both elaborating and showing diversity of sounds. Thanks for your work! - LMMO (Learn from the Masters Music Outreach lmmo.org/ )
There's a lot of range on the tone controls and the gain boost also adds sparkle on top, so it can do bright tones as well. Especially the Lucy Dreamer can get really juicy and bright.
Yes! The green Suhr and the Macmull are back! Great playing as always!
I liked the pedal, it had a wide range of drives from crisp and boosted to over the top distorted. Your demo jam really highlighted how versatile it is. Thanks.
Ooh...sounds "twice as hard" to me....killer riffage as usual Pete...and that red signature is beautiful.
Jam pedals are amazing
The macmull... what a guitar!
I dig the tune on this one Pete👍
Amazing! Love your videos and reviews and obviously here for your playing those riffs and solos were to die for!
Excellent demo! “Clean as a whistle”!
Great playing, fantastic tune, stunning hair.
Haha! Thanks
The Vox sounded so good even w/o the pedal Great demo as always Great pedal for bright rigs
P90s FTW. Notwithstanding magic fingers Pete.
Pete, your playing is always...electric!
Besides usual killer Pete's playing I like very cool new signature model color!
Great demo, Pete! Lovely tune!
My favorite opening tune you’ve ever done! Love it.
That Macmull T-type is a beaut

Tremendous sounds and great play Pete thorn.
Thanks Keith!
Wow ....I really like the versatility of that pedal. A lot of different tones all in one. Amazing guitar playing as always. Thanks Pete!

Yeah sounds great! Cool song!
Cool video, nice drive.kudos
Awesome guitar collection😎
I love to watch you play that 335. I have one just like it and it’s one of my favorites. It has 57s in it .
They are unique and awesome guitars!
Digging the power pop, Pete!
Sounds especially nice with humbuckers.
Hi Pete, great demo as always! What camera do you use to shoot tour videos? Also do you shoot in 4k or in 1080? Thanks!
the lick starting at 0:56 is killer!

Hi Pete
Amazing stuff you make really inspiring
Excuse my remedial question
I’m getting into building a home studio
What are your thoughts about DAW
Use use logic?
HOLY #*%&! Incredible playing!
Thanks!
After your Warwick and Tech21 Geddy Lee and Dug Pinnick pedal reviews I would be interested in hearing some of your bass sounds in isolation
sounds great
Loved the sound Pete but that's mostly your playing :-)
Hi Pete! When boosting a crunchy plexi style amp, do you prefer a ts style like the double dreamer, or more a klon type pedal, tumnus or similar?
Thanks!
Lately, a klon type!
Awesome mate, is there any way to use high gain switch as a boost? Maybe with dip switch?
I’m not sure about that
Cool pedal. Is it just me that hears Alex Lifeson in that riff at 0:56 ?
Love 7:57! Like a kid!
10:17.... Rush!
Liked Pete's music first, can't hit another like for the pedal...it'll just remove my like for Pete.
Odd harmonix means they did a SD-1 right?
The lighting is much better in this vid, more natural, that it is during the Sunday live streams where you always look kind of pink.

Pete you're a fucking great guitarist. You ever come to play in Chicago let us know.
Thank you!
Definitely sounds different
Cool intro!
Thanks!
There's always work at the post office
sick Pete awesome tones, playing and vibes .Really enjoyed that :p YEAH

I want to see two drives in one box, for the price of one drive in one box.
😎🇬🇷🎸🎼👌👍✌👏👏👏

Beware of the Doubled Reamer!
Isn’t this just the Tubedreamer 88?
Sounded too muddy for my taste.
