I appreciate the review. Thanks for sharing. I agree, the dry bag is a good idea. Do you recall what size the sea to summit bag is? I think I'll pick one up for my mountain serape.
This is the worst piece of kit that HPG makes. It isn't warm, doesn't block the wind, and simply is not a value add to any system I've tried..... with exception of bundling the dog up at night. I like all my other HPG kit, but the serape is a turd.
You're entitled to your opinion, but this is a Cadillac multi use poncho liner. Not warm? What environment are you using it in.? Block the wind? You need a shell layer. What Temps are you using it in?
HPG is a hell of a company.. got lots of their kit always top notch
This is the only piece of kit that I have from them and it's certainly quality gear. I only hear good things about their stuff.

I believe it's the 20 litre
@@OLDSOLDIER6 Thank you very much
No worries. Thanks for watching!
I’m an old infantry soldier too 👍🏻. When you get a chance can you tell me what size Sea To Summit Bag you’re using. I’d like to get one for my Serape.

I can't wait to improve the design of something like this on my own sewing machine.
Making your own modifications to your own needs is always (mostly) a good idea.
On comfort items at least
Thank you very informative, hill people mountain gear, I'm looking forward to contact,🚬💀 Airborne all the way brother 🐓☠️
Thanks for watching! Airborne All The Way!
Why do I get the feeling that this piece hangs in the old soldier's closet under the "business formal wear section"?
It doesn't, but it should.
