I love the Office, have owned it both on DVD and as a streaming package. It has so much interesting and funny stuff within-a Classic in my mind! Thank you to every member of the cast, each of you contributed something unique to this drama. I hope Dawn and Tim remain blissfully married with many beautiful children…

The sense of the dark art of bullshitting in senior management I've had my fair share like some small engineering firms who have no idea of QC and 5 sigma . I never trusted the top manager and his directors . Over 3 companies in Slough that I worked for went bankrupt because they were not certified ISO 9001 or 2 .
The brilliance of these characters is Brent is objectively in the wrong at all times, he's awkward lazy, delusional and selfish,whereas James is 100% professional and good with people and yet as the audience you still like David and think James is a Prick.

To be fair, it can be annoying the way disableds put their chairs right in the way. I once did what David did, and moved the damn thing out of the way. OMG, you should have seen the face on it. No apologies from her, either.
I think Gervais nailed this comedy years ago. Your late attempt at imitation is a bit tired and pathetic. Best stick to the day job.

Maybe its tone. Its one speaking tone the entire show. If every character had the same voice i probably wouldn't notice
It's because Yanks have to have everything spelt out for them The sit coms with obviously overly made up actors. The obvious "acting". The original was done as a fly on the wall type of production but had character types that we could relate to as they resembled people we have worked with. Don't forget it was made in the UK and America bought it and mangled it. It's not the fault of the UK production it's the fact you guys have huge teams of writers that have a particular way. Gervais and Merchant did it all themselves.

The reason why nobody knows abou Office UK and why Office US is such a hit is because of the horrible unfathomable accent. Hard to keep up for not native English speakers
That is literally understanding the dialogue in a cr@p show versus not understanding the dialogue in a masterpiece.
That's why America could not have produced a Shakespeare. Now if Shakespeare was the name of a large room full of American comedy writers then they might produce something funny but probably not a masterpiece.@@sammyhill69
