Had a crush on Ashley Jensen from her first moment on this show. Much later, had a chance to meet her. She's every bit as lovely as i might have hoped. There really should have been another season or two of this show. So good.
This makes you appreciate the talent of all of the celebs Ricky had on each episode.. their dialogue was genuinely hilariously absurd and they nail it almost every time despite Ricky unable to contain himself. Unreal talent, I don't know how they do it.

While Brent was the lead in the Office, he wanted to give the lead to everyone else except himself in Extras (everybody else is Brant, and Ricky is the only Tim). In essence he is being the extra of his own show, while the actual extras become the protagonists. Also it is kind of a parallel universe of what would have happened if he sold out his soul in the making of the Office, because that was his first show ever and probably he had the same pressure to compromise his creative freedom as a nobody in showbiz.
