6:55 - I love David Bradley breaking character at Ricky's quick wit. He has to play the old man with dementia and be very stoic about it through all the takes, so that was an absolute gem!
He did so much with so little in this. Heartbreaking performance.

Ricky laughs so hard because these actors did more than what he imagined it would be. Super love this series. As a great comedian, I am surprised how his emotions are so realistic. One of the best out there. Sad it already ended. ❤❤❤❤
David Earl as Brian in this is my favourite character. He is soo sleazy but funny too, When he says “ I was in a Haze” I couldn’t control myself 😂.I love this show and these outtakes are pure gold. The whole cast are magic together absolutely love Kath ❤️.

I think they keep laughing because its an offensive thing to say to someone and the line is delivered with real disgust. Which is what makes it funny!
Its also a relatable character for a lot of people as they have heard stories like that told by nobheads down the pub

I didn't like him in the 2nd series, obviously you're not supposed to like him, I mean I just thought it was crass, too much, too unsubtle and not funny. These outtakes though had me crying, especially the bit in the pub where they were just riffing out names.

I'm non English speaker but I laughed at every jokes because of how unpredictable they were. I enjoy the famous British Humor so much because of this show.

I don't think a show will ever match what this show does. It makes me feel so human. Tears followed by outrageous laughter, followed by tears, every episode. Ricky Gervais is amazing.

His directing technique looks like sabotaging each take then saying, "Go again". 😂 But I guess that's how he gauges things; it has to be nearly impossible not to laugh so he can guarantee a high standard.

I love how Ricky gives licence to the actors to just ad lib. Main reason he laughs in most of these is because he’s never heard the line before. Seen loads of people on previous outtakes like Derek saying “why does he laugh so hard on lines he wrote” well he didn’t write them 😕

Yes it is. I think he's a therapist though, as myself. I was shocked watching the episodes, for he is so blunt.
I really didn't like the character in the show, but his outtakes are insanely funny.
