Great video for new F30 owners man. Personally I’m on my 2nd F30 .. totaled a 2013 and now I’m on a 2016 328i Sportline. I also previously owned a E39 M5 (Dinan S2 tuned), the change in engine/horsepower was brutal but I must say these F30 are very nice, sporty, and fun as hell to drive!! On your 4th point with the windows ... fyi if you keep pressing after the windows are down your sunroof open next. As far as reliability for those that asked on the comments ... I had 2 issues with my ‘13 328i that ended up costing me around $1,200 .. both happened after 50K miles (was at 73K when totaled). No issues on the 2016 yet but I am at 35K. Anywho ... great vid again man. Keep it up!
v2penny I think you'll have to code this in unless your BMW is a Euro Spec. I know forsure my car doesn't do this without going through the coding process. Hopefully I get it done soon! Haha it's a very useful feature that BMW should've provided out the factory
How big is that space where you keep your towels? I'm thinking about getting the car and would want to put it on bags. You think that space is big enough for most of the setup? I want to lose as little trunk space as possible.
CurranOC I actually know couple of people who ran their bag setup inside the compartment. Kevin tran is one of the people who I know is running the setup inside the compartment. Hit him up on ig for more info lol @kevin_trxn
+Shumile Swift Lol Forreal!!! I leave all my detailing products in that little storage area and after realizing that the floorboard could be held up, made it a lot easier for me to go access it haha. Thanks for watching dude!
+Billy Hartford the backseat is pretty spacious. I've had couple tall friends (6 ft 3) who sat in the back for a very long period of time and never once did they complain. Either they didn't want to walk home or it's pretty spacious back there lol.
mines all coded to watch dvds while driving, no marning messgaes on the navi screen whwn started up, auto folding mirrors, no warm and cold bulb checks, digital manual operation during driving + videos while driving, etc.
Disappointed that you pretty much covered pretty standard stuff but I appreciate the video. When you get your car didn't a BMW Genius walk through it with you? FYI: I am also a relatively new F30 owner (340i brought over 6 months ago and my first BMW) but a lot of these things are in the manual or common knowledge. A lot of RUclips videos and forums like Bimmerpost, BMWBLOG already cover most of these things. But good try. Hope you're enjoying the car :)
Thank you very much for understanding and not hating haha. Yea this video covers some of the most basic stuff but I just wanted to put a video out there. I'm planning on putting up a more advanced video sometime in the future like how you can hook up a PS4 into your car or how to code stuff.
+Kies Motorsports no freaking way! Kies Motorsports!!!! Dude I watch your videos all the time and they are all so inspiring and most definitely helpful. I’m in awe that you actually watched this gringy video haha. Thanks a lot dude!
sorry to tell you dude but those things are really things ppl should know when someone gets a car, it's like you got your driving license 2 days ago and its the very first car you have ever been in
if there was option to dislike the video 5 times i have done it.... all these are something everyone knows these cars have.. soo title of the video should say BMW F30 | 5 Secrets noob bmw drivers dont know
15xNightWalkeR What you said is probably true for those who have been a BMW owner for x amount of years but this is my first BMW and these were the secrets I, personally, did not know about and only discovered them by driving the car. This video was meant to help those who also just got into their very first BMW. So if you do know any other secrets then please pitch in because I am also open to more knowledge.
Dude change the title of the video. Just wasted 7 minutes of my life lol. Really thought you found genuine secrets. The BMW dealership/salesman you purchased your car from didn't do their job very well. A lot of these features were available on previous-gen 3 Series models let alone noted as basic standard features on the F30
lmfao sorry bro. After posting this video, i realized that i didnt do my due diligence before posting haha. I honestly thought these were some of the stuff other people did not know but i guess I'm the only noob around here. Thanks for watching 7 minutes of the video though (:
Dudes. My car’s steering wheel start to shake when I try to overtake a infront of me, but when at the same time there’s another car trying to overtake me - starts shaking.
yeah thats why bmw is called the ultimate driving machine LOL... they only focus on the raw driving experience rather than the other extra bells and whistles. IDK how true it is for the newer models these days. Audi still top tier for real though
Josh The kila reliability so far has been pristine but then again the car only has about 35k miles on it. The only thing servicing I've done on it so far was regular maintenance like oil change, brakes, etc. other than that it's been an extremely outgoing car 👌🏼
For the sport dial feature.... just press the talk button and say SHOW SPORT DIALS and the car will show them for you

You can also turn the vehicle off while in drive and the car will automatically switch to “park.”
About the gear tip. Even if you switch off the engine, the gear will automatically move back to the default position
Cheers mate. Didn't realise I had DVD until I watched this.
Second to last tip can also work with being in manual and simply switch the car off in and it goes into Park👌
For taking your time and make this video. I subbed!
+WuPiDu thank you so much! I really appreciate it
Awesome bonus! DVD feature is really nice!
Great vid. New BMW owner and I didn't know about any of these!!!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you got something out of this video. Congrats on the new bmw !!
And u can also put the windows up by touching a handle of ur door outside lol sorry my English is not very good 😅
Love your video haha. I was also surprised about that extra button once you floor it too
That thing with the gas pedal calls kick down big percentage if the auto cars have it
you can close windows and mirrors by holding down the lock button... same as you did with the unlock

thanks Man. I like that

@@AlphaStreet thanks dude!
Where you got that Did you die sticker from?
yeah I like the sticker too
cool video man
I don't have these features is it because my f30 is from 2012 or because I live in Europe and we have different features
Does it work on a smaller screen
LOL I didn’t know about the trunk clips holding the floor board up 🤔
+Shumile Swift Lol Forreal!!! I leave all my detailing products in that little storage area and after realizing that the floorboard could be held up, made it a lot easier for me to go access it haha. Thanks for watching dude!
How's the rear leg room ?? currently in an E60 5 n considering the F30 ..thanks in advance
+Billy Hartford the backseat is pretty spacious. I've had couple tall friends (6 ft 3) who sat in the back for a very long period of time and never once did they complain. Either they didn't want to walk home or it's pretty spacious back there lol.
Randy AND Tony lol..right , remind them how the leg room is looking on the bus 😂😂 thanks brother
As long as the driver and front passenger are short, you're good bro. Get all the leg room you want lol
the bonus tip was the only one i didnt know
mines all coded to watch dvds while driving, no marning messgaes on the navi screen whwn started up, auto folding mirrors, no warm and cold bulb checks, digital manual operation during driving + videos while driving, etc.

@@AlphaStreethow do i hook up my xbox?
15xNightwalkerR - agreed.
Always wondered what that clip in the trunk was for... That's something I would have not figured out by myself.
Good work 👍🏼

Fuck them haters bro keep it up
My f30 2013 have no backup camera no navigation no SD card so amny things are so cheap thats why im staying with audi

What year is your car?
Some of these are features listed in the owner’s handbook...
Sht bro when I bought the car I didn’t check off the handbook option... maybe that’s why...

Someone should last samurai your nose off
omg....
Slavering hoor
U got zero engineering knowledge. Sorry..
People who need these features explained should not own this luxury vehicle. And, their parents shouldn't buy them cars; make them earn it themselves
