All Is Beautiful between Yangtze and Mississippi

We got up at 2:00 am to drive to Lake Itasca, hoping to catch the first light. Winter has begun at the source of the Mississippi. Wind, ice, silence. It's cold, but perfect, as Michael, photographer and artist from Beijing, said. Daniel brought us together, artists from the Yangtze and Mississippi, to merge and bring out beauty. It was so cold I dropped my phone into the water, but got it out. The phone kept the recording going. It was just perfect.
