Jeff Lambert playing “Recuerdos de la Alhambra” in Granada
Jeff really wants to play this beautiful piece at the palace. We came all the way to Granada but the palace ticket is sold out for the year. A friend told us the place, where we could have the entire view of the fortress! Sometimes you don’t need to enter to see and feel the beauty and magic! A good position and imagination are more than enough

Jeff lambert found his dream guitar at the first glance and he played “Prelude 4” by Villa-Lobos

This 1951 Jose Ramirez guitar called Jeff lambert the moment he walked into Maurice’s guitar shop in Lyon. He plucked its strings and fell in love instantly. So did I. It’s deep sounds reached the deepest place in my soul.

All Is Beautiful between Yangtze and Mississippi
Просмотров 1542 месяца назад
We got up at 2:00 am to drive to Lake Itasca, hoping to catch the first light. Winter has begun at the source of the Mississippi. Wind, ice, silence. It's cold, but perfect, as Michael, photographer and artist from Beijing, said. Daniel brought us together, artists from the Yangtze and Mississippi, to merge and bring out beauty. It was so cold I dropped my phone into the water, but got it out. ...

Deb Davis at Noxtontown Pond-Where Chinook Performance Racing and Diamond State Regatta Began

It's a beautiful lake, surrounded by St. Andrew and other schools. Deb Davis started rowing here, then founded Chinook, which became home for many athletes who thrive, grow and succeed in this big family. I'm so honored and delighted to catch a few words at the shore of Noxtontown Pond, after Diamond State Regatta, with St. Andrew campus across the water. On the lawn in front of us, Dead Poets ...

I’m not a singer, but please let me sing of the peacemakers on the campus, Columbia, Harvard, UCLA, Austin… your neck in the grip of police hands your hands cuffed, ribs broken, body tazered, kicked, stomped upon But you keep coming: Give Peace a Chance your souls singing from grass roots and trees, from your pit of conscience I’m not a prayer, but please, please give my voice to the young and ...

It was a pleasure to meet you and take you to Seville today in my taxi. This video is proof that when there is passion, dance and music have no boundaries.😊
woww!! you are in my country!!! i hope you are enjoyingg it!! 🎉❤
This piece is not Recuredos, I believe t is an etude by Fernando Sor.
Thanks for letting me know about the mistake. I mixed it up with another recording that’s coming soon.
@@wangping2857 you’re welcome. I’ve been trying to find that piece in my stack of sheet music. Can you remind me what the name of it is? I’m pretty sure the composer is Fernando.
Jeff, just came across this youtube vid, after we just email connected. Hope I don't have to commute to Lyon for lessons.🤓 John B.
Thank you for this! I started reading Gary 30 years ago. In periods of lull, I will look him up to see if he has gone deep. To my great splendor, he just turned 94 this year. Love you Mr. Snyder, much the same I love my family.
Beautiful ❤
It´s certainly NOT good for ANY poet to show himself with a NURSE
Ping, just a perfect poem for the depths of where we find ourselves...I cried...thank you, thank you...

Thank you for these interviews. I love the poetry of Gary Snyder. It’s funny to watch these you can tell he dosnt like to answer the question lol or wants to subvert the question but I learned a lot. And you have such an interesting upbringing also. I enjoy learning about the people of China and I think everyone has a lot to learn about each other
Lovely!
Special to be gifted the opportunity to experience such a lovely community, teaching peace whilst creating flags for it together with eclectic people - I admire much the care of all involved -Heartening! - thank you for holding tradions sacred and sharing them ~ Beautiful, All 🌎🪶 much gratitude! 🪶
Thank you !
A life well lived, for sure.
😄 Happy Birthday Gary from Pedro Niederbipp Switzerland - Poetry is in the air, in the water, in the rain, in the wind, in the thunder, in the laughter, in the dance, in the celebrations, in the stones, in the grass, in the clouds, in the soul… 😉
😉😉😉
🙂🙂🙂🙂
I heard Gary read at St Mark's Church in NYC in 1972 or thereabouts. He read his poem about Blue-jays. It was really different from the other poets who read there. Came from a different world. And I made a special trip to Cleveland to see the Rivers and Mountains scroll. All wonderful! Thank you.
Miss that laugh.
Happy belated one of my favorites. Not only has Garry inspired me to love and write poetry, but also he has helped me to appreciate nature at a deeply spiritual level. As a Christian, I may not share the same religious perspective as Garry, but as humans we can agree that nature is beautiful and worth the effort to protect. Cheers to you Garry, and my best wishes for your health and many more years to come!
Happy Birthday Gary <3
Feliz cumpleaños querido Gary! el efecto de tu persona es inmenso sobre nosotros
Happy birthdaayyyy from Ibiza! <3
Happy Birthday Gary! Wish there was a way to get in touch with you. Very inspirational figure in my life.
She is so nice, humble, respectful. And he is so full of himself, arrogance brimming below the surface. A cranky old, unrepentant lefty! Wonderful channel. 👍☕️
It’s funny to hear a sentimental old lefty complain about how all the Marxists were forced out of the universities, back in his day. Today, all of the Marxist “tenured” professors have total power, and drive free thinkers off campus, shutting down free speech like no one could ever have imagined generations ago.
🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤⚘⚘⚘⚘🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
He'll likely learn from Gary...
Happy birthday Gary from the Pacific crest trail!
So inspiring to see the love and appreciation for Gary from around the world. Happy birthday. A precious legacy that's very much alive
Happy birthday Gary, you have been a role model.

Happy birthday Gary!!! Nico, from Argentina. Your writings and way of life were an inspiration for me. Thanks!!
A powerful quiet poem of integrity and solidarity; 'your tents blossom in this bleak age'...there are now peace camps established at several universities here in the UK
thank you! the world has hope because of you!

Happy Birthday from Viet Nam! I still have my copies of Rip Rap and Earth House Hold I bought in Anchorage in '73. I actually went to a poetry workshop with Gary at U. of Alaska sometime around 1981. Thanks for bringing Buddhist thought to McAmerica!
Wow, really nice. Thank you for sharing, and Happy B Day, Gary. Thank YOU for the inspiration from teens to middle age.
Gary taught us unveiled to us the light of Mother Earth the embrace of Turtle Island. And the Old Ways taught Gary.
Happy birthday Gary. Stay well. From Batumi. I often think of you when I'm in the Caucasus, you would really love this mountain range! cheers
