    Probably the first Irish film I saw, as there were very few in those days. Saw it at Toronto film festival. V. enjoyable

    a dvd of this film was given away free with a sunday newspaper a good few years ago but it was a very poor pressing because the volume was so low it was inaudible, in turn making the film unwatchable. pity.

    If memory serves me, part or most of it was filmed in and around Allenwood? ( I was away in the desert at the time #Chad) 😉

    With Bord na mona bog now lying idle surly one of them could be used to built film studios with thousands of arce for scenes and props to be built.
