    Doesn't he know he's on trial? He's a defendant in a criminal case, and he just left! He's not used to being controlled. He is demonstrating that he is usually the boss. Makes it hard to imagine him listening to Hannah Gutierrez or anyone else.

      Exactly my thoughts too. Contempt of court (not only by unpermitted leaving the court room, but also while being accused by the DA). And it also shows a lot of disrespect to the relatives of the killed person. That Alec Baldwin is totally ignorance. That is also the reason he became into this kind of trouble: totally ignorance. Which implies he is a huge danger to society.

      The prosecutor isn't allowed to call people liars. She is supposed to present her case, which has nothing to do with her in absolutely zero regards, she wasn't there nor does she care the outcome. Then the jury should decide who the liar is. The system is broken and a joke

    He isn't getting special treatment. He's not being held in custody and a defendant is not required to be in the courtroom, but they have the right to be. He's free to make that decision.

      He isn’t required to stay in the court room. He isn’t on the stand and his lawyers speak for him. The law does not require him to be in the court room. Also, it is not common for a prosecutor to just flat out call the defendant a liar. He is innocent until proven guilty.

    Shocking how many state attorney offices get away with malicious prosecution. If it's addressed it takes YEARS for any kind of justice and even then it's suspensions and early retirement. They need to adopt a scorched earth type policy to deal with unhinged prosecutors.

      Same. Her ruling that the fact he was the film’s producer can’t be mentioned to the jury means she’s setting him up to sound like he’s just an actor on set without much if any responsibility. And that shouldn’t be legal. The jury should know it was his responsibility to have a safe set. I hope the prosecution brings up the fact that other crew walked out due to the level of unsafety, before Halyna’s death.

      The prosecutor isn't allowed to call people liars. She is supposed to present her case, which has nothing to do with her in absolutely zero regards, she wasn't there nor does she care the outcome. Then the jury should decide who the liar is. The system is broken and a joke

    He went to the men's room and got a coffee or water. He probably asked the lawyer for permission and they signaled the police to allow him to go.
    There are no underlying motives for him wanting to murder anybody. No bullets were allowed on set. That is why the safety manager is in jail.

      It wouldn't be shocking to learn the prosecutor was looking for a federal appointment in 2025 for railroading the defendant, especially knowing who he impersonated. Reading the facts of the case and how bullets were filed under a different case number by a retired officer, this smells of politically motivated sabotage.

      Quite funny looking at the expression on his attorney's face. Disgraceful that the judge didn't do anything. Baldwin is one of those people who likes to dish it out, but can't take it. Another factor to consider is his own safety. Someone affected by his actions could have hit him. The judge was very concerned about reporters leaving empty cups in the court room, but wasn't bothered about the defendant just getting up and walking out.

      You do know it was not his fault right? It was solely on the armorer who caused this chaos. I know this because we have armorer's in the military and they have great responsibility on them just as she did. Weapons are used all the time in Hollywood and the actors have to trust those in charge.
