Meanwhile, KOF players be like, "you used all your resources and they're alive from full health? Low damage game"
Me in guilty gear: YAMADAAAA-SAN!! 🐳
damage caps 😂
In kof the most amount of damage you can do is 33,3%, because there is 3 life bars, and even the biggest combos can only destroy 1
@@Shyang2 but you have to win 3 rounds in a tournament to get 1 match point so in the end its kinda same as kof
@@Wellshem In Strive, it would've killed a character 3 times over.
The combo may be unoptimised but doesnt take away from the fact that it was cool and if u were to kill with that ur opponent would be at shock
Nothing else matters as long as your having fun! The thing that’s great about this game is there isn’t one combo for every situation because of the drive gage. Combos will be different depending on your playstyle and how you use meter. Capcom has finally made a game with some sauce.
do it for the emotional damage
It would deal an impressive amount of psychological damage going into round 2
Never realized how much Majima's theme in Yakuza 7 fits Juri.
Part of it even sounds like her SF 4 theme.
Craziest part is that the two have actually met before (Project x Zone)
@@Lexicon865 i wish they did more of this game tho
@@Lexicon865what exactly was their interaction?
@@itsanti2748 that idk i didnt actually play those games i just knew em from other peeps
It may just be the fact that I play DBFZ and guilty gear strive but that seemed like a lot of hits for not too much damage
yeah its pretty unoptimized but damn it it looks awesome, plus you would destroy your opponent mentally
Yeah those are games with a decent amount of T.O.D combos in them. Biggest damage I've seen so far is around 68% in sf6 and Juri never reaches those numbers generally in the way they balance SF games. Rushdown characters don't get big damage but someone like Ryu can chunk you for 60% with 20 less hits than Juri
It might be due to the open beta being a super old build! Hopefully theres been some damage changes when the full game comes out!
Dbfz is a team game so characters will do more damage then 1v1 and strive is a high damage game so yes……people die in two hits in that game….
It's not about the damage, it's about sending a message
I love how Juri's install super basically turns her into an anime fighting game character for like 10 seconds
In the specific case of Juri this is actually pretty accurate. In 5 you had to work so hard to get so little out of her.
And this is...less work?
@@ithiyan You still have to work hard to do insane combos like these; but in SFV her whole "I need to do a separate move before I can use what any other character could pull out with a single input" gimmick meant that you couldn't really get much practical use out of her. Getting basic results as Juri in that game took more effort than it did for any other character.
Yep. Love juri lol. I can erase you with a feather duster xD
That's why I play her
Smash Ultimate Sheik moment
@@cursedryona6265 ntm SF5 damage scaling screwed her over badly. Her whole character revolves around big combos yet doing the prep for them just got you the same amount that someone like ryu could do in literally 3-5 inputs despite being 2 times longer with a super chucked in

This one is malicious…

Me, a Juri main: *Starts taking notes*
Kowalski Analysis , as a fellow juri player.
it's an unoptimised combo, but it is very cool
bro she literally went up and down the stairs with him what
As a Juri main since SF4 and a huge fan of Blazblue combos I approve.
Blazblue combos are bloody insane, same with pre-strive guilty gear and UNICLR. Man we need more games like those...
Sf is an anime fighter now
And it's awesome
using juri with feng shui seems a bit like an unfair comparison
yeah, you're right, but it doesn't mean that the rest of the cast doesn't have cool combos, combo length was just an easy thing to make a video about
@@uzelac1372 then why didn't pick another character in the first place?
@@fantomas1770 well, because I wanted to exaggerate the joke, but I primarily wanted to show off a cool combo
My man didn't read the split second disclaimer
Both combos were meant to exaggerate the combo potential of each game respectively. Ryu's combo could have been longer as stated, while Juri's combo would have been shorter had they not used Feng shui. Still gets the point across, for me at least.
Disclamer:
This is not me trying to poke fun at SF5 (even tho I see now that it kind of it looks like it...), just wanted to build hype for SF6, SF5 is still very fun and it does in fact have some really cool combos
Go watch this video by Fight Club TV if you want to see some of them: ruclips.net/video/huUpF1N0srg/видео.html
Don't try to build hype for a game unless they are paying you. It's not your job to do Capcoms advertising for them.
In this game everyone’s gill
No disclaimer needed bruddah, sf5 was cheeks
@@EsteemedReptilegod forbid the man have fun making a video or sharing his enjoyment lol
@@Bodied There are ways to do that without being a corporate bootlicker
You sold me with the Yakuza 7 OST pretty sick
“I do not have the ability to care.” Based.
Not just "I don't care" but even if he wanted to care he doesn't even have the ability to do so. That is a level of idgaf that I aspire to.
Thank you, that was my biggest complaint going into sf5 from sf4 was that combos were pigeon holed and uninteresting especially early in sf5 life where everyone seemed to do the same basic combos.
Just got my hands on the sf6 Beta and the drive system does add a bit of freedom and creativity. Overall feels more open ended than the V-skill system.
sf3 and sf4 had nice combo strings while sf5 felt like 3 hit combos were the bread and butter.
@@khmergodhobbies yeah exactly. V-trigger activation added some spice to some characters but then they nerfed combo damage after activation bring you back to default combos
THe main different is in this game you can do you best combo from the start of the match. sf5 you got to by like 1/2 heatlh to get v trigger. they made the "comeback manicit" something you just have from round start.
yeah, its like you feel more free in sf6
what's a manicit
@@MUGENanaya probably meant "mechanic"
@@DoubleCFiend they should start spelling it like manicit instead
Whats a manicit?
Bro recorded this off his 3DS

There's an 80+ hit combo with Guile in 'SF6'. Absolutely insane.
Guile is prob gonna be a top tier
@@uzelac1372 Potentially. We'll just have to see when everyone is out. Keep in mind that Capcom will be updating the game as well, so I'm sure no one characters will be too broken. To be honest, though, everyone seems to be pretty good in their ways - some characters that aren't meant to be too advanced like Ryu seem to be pretty awesome anyway, so I'm hopeful.
Guile has had a nearly 50 hit combo in SFV at various points, including the current version.
We're gonna see meter dumps so often in SF6 looks cool as shit dude
It's about sending a message...
Literally every ryu player in the beta dumps their whole drive gauge in the first 10 seconds. It’s hilarious
Street fighter has never been combo heavy so seeing this makes me happier but the damage turns me off
I think Street fighter 4 Juri Feng Shui was combo heavy
Jun in SF3 3rd Strike
Sf4 dudley
Juri has nice animations
NEW GUILTY GEAR DROPPED (Drive Rush feels like Accent Core Romantic Cancel):
LEGIT, how to make any fighting game better: add a roman cancel/combo extender mechanic
@@uzelac1372 yep. Been in love with this type of mechanic since fadc in sf4
@@uzelac1372 one of my favorite combo extenders was getting Counter Breakers in KI, you legit almost double the amount of damage you were already doing before your combo limit reaches max. It’s so fuckin satisfying
I see the production team tried to add some inspiration from the *Marvel vs Capcom* franchise for this beautifully executed combination attack Juri displayed 0:31. Characters from that franchise (particularly in MvC 2: New Age of Heroes and 3: Fate of Two Worlds) enabled the player to use airborne combinations just like the princess of Taekwondo did effortlessly in this video. *SF6* isn't released yet and I'am already overwhelmed with excitement. 😅😊.
oh my god i noticed that as well.
It ain’t that deep.
Duuuude! Was that Yakuza Like a Dragon Music I heard?! Well other than the ptsd it gives me of my team getting wiped by that tag team, I am quite happy to hear that!
In basically…. Juri had to do all of that for a drop of blood
i did not know this was possible. As a new street fighter player and even newer Juri main, i'm going to study this video harder than i studied for my SATs
better suggestion - look up "Juri sf6 optimal" or "Juri sf6 bnb"
this combo was cool but was hardly instructional
Cool Guilty Gear combo bro
*watching the drive gauge drop faster than my grades in Junior year*
SF4 Juri laughing in the corner.
Oro: Allow me to introduce myself
Your even using classic mode, that's pretty tight
yup, while I think modern controls are a nice addition that will help new players, I legit find them more confusing to use
@@uzelac1372 yeah, i consider myself an amateur player, being in and out of different fighting games(in terms of sf5, i was stuck in gold). I tried to use modern in open beta, and after couple hours my headache became worse :D Feels so unnatural to use, plus missing some basic moves felt awful. I think I'll stick to classic, but perhaps there is some characters in SF6 that might benefit more from Modern...
@@storyforeveryone do you actually have a smaller arsenal of moves with modern?
@@tama2723 only things are missing are like, crouched HK, jumping kicks and alike. Different per character. All specials are available, most with shortcuts, rest that have no more place to be put on shortcuts are working like regular version in Classic.
Thing is, its just clunky. After playing SF as it always been, you need to learn where your kicks and punches anew, remember all that, learn when to hold assist button to use alternative versions of moves. It's kinda like games where you have sets of moves/spells. You have one set, but to use second set - you need to hold a certain button.
And finally combos. Modern kinda getting in your way of doing different combos. Instead, it just wants you to do only 3-4 of them and that's it.
@@storyforeveryone So to someone new to SF would you still recommend to just learn classic?
i didnt think sf6 combos would get this long, awesome
I think I just suck at fighting games 😭but I can say that I’m having a lot of fun with the beta but damn got absolutely rocked by a guy 2-6
Activating engine after forward medium punch is the hardest part of this combo unironically💀. That’s the part that screws me over every time
^
I miss armchair titan and his impractical series 😢
oh my god i remember that name...
I rewatch those video every year.
Thanks for Majima theme
I definitely got to lab this combo
Boy waited for the drop to start the combo carnival too
Sold. 👌🏾
You cared enough to make me pause and read all that
"yo bro you should get into street fighter, its super fun"

The okuyasu pose at the end tho
dude stop being so scared of offending people who cares if ur making fun of it or not stop pointing out 50 times that u arent
and to deal the same ammount of damage with zangief its like 2 camand grabs.
god i love zangief
The music is from Yakuza: LAD(?), it’s when you summon Majima
Spoiler warning, in case someone plans to play Yakuza Like a Dragon
Not summon, it‘s when you fight him :D
The summon music is his theme from Yakuza 4: Receive and bite you
@@DannyGaendon my bad you right
“I do not have the ability to care” is what killed me🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
i love that im not the only one pairing goros themes with juri
they werent lying !! that was in fact awesome
Don't apologize for the quality this is 100% what my game is gonna look like when I get it.
So Guilty Gear Strive went Street Fighter with shorter combos and now Street Fighter went Guilty Gear with longer and flashier combos. Awesome!
What a time to be alive, eh? Im not big on the direction Strive took, but at least SF6 is providing that missing fun im looking for.
@@Don_Akane89 why don’t you like strive? I only played xrd revelator
That's why juri is the best character in street fighter
good meme
juri is weak and underwhelming and feng shui dosnt last nearly long enough
marisa is top character by far
Bro, what is this music?! It's getting me all fired up!
Receive You The Hyperactive
Thank You.
Doing some combos in this game is much easier than doing it in USF4.
There's a reason that this game doesn't say "Marvelous" after a combo.
holy fuck that combo goes HARD
i love that Majima's reference
receive and bite you? in my street fighter video? it's more likely than you may think
ULTRA
Supreme Victory
Juri is one of the few who can juggle you off combos.
0:31 This just turned into MvC
I like big combo fighting games. It's what makes them satsifying to play
My friend showed me this. I started with "lol", proceeded to "wow" and ended with "WTF!"
I'm surprised Luke wasn't sawed in half with these jaggy kicks.
I liked the short combos from street fighter 5 because it meant that someone could deal good damage to you if they were skilled enough without also keeping you trapped and unable to play the game, so both players get the maximum amount of satisfaction. Long combos are one sided in that regard
Yeah but it also just means that nothing chains into anything and it’s a slog and everyone is just doing sweeps
Short combos can still hit pretty hard and longer combos take meter that you need for other stuff.
My man is so afraid of getting cancelled that the most replayed part of this video is the disclamer
well, that was the plan, more watch hours, and the comments help the algorithm
Feng shui engine is on a whole other level
Honestly, SF6 combos have something that I found to be somewhat lacking in SF5: style.
sf5 does have style, it just has it less often, in sf6 you can do stylish combos at any point
Usfiv omega juri tho... Desk showed me the light...
as someone that does play juri
i always wanna but i don't wanna use up all of my drive at once lmaooo
0:19 WRYYYY
I’m starting to use juri and wanted to look for some cool combos….but I think I’ll just look for somewhere else
"I do not have the ability to care" LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO
damn, Majima`s theme(from Yakuza 7) hits hard
Juri got her Feng Shui install back, and I am happy.
should of done a apples to apples kinda video still good shit.
Resolution looks awesome
I’m finna learn this💀
Okay sick ass combo but add a oro stones combo for the sfv combo
That combo is so pretty. Can you please share the notation? 😊
A very cool combo. If you’re willing to absolutely bottom out your resources
i cant even combo heavy punch shoryuken is the only way to victory for me
Jokes aside, could have used SF6 Ryu instead to show how much style he has now
good point, but the reason why I didn't do it is because most people already seen all the Ryu combos
@@uzelac1372 Fair point. Gotta love that from what we are seeing, everyone got lots of moves *looking very afraid at Guile*
i knew feng shui engine was gonna make people go crazy
What’s the music that comes on for Juri’s combo?
Receive You The Hyperactive
Dbfz game : 420 hits while attempt destroying the planet and still survive
i wanna see it finished with crit art
Vicious tells Ryu to "Show them what they came to see" but in all honesty you can show them a combo they'd never expect to see because it's obscure, crazy, and/or unique.
I’m a noob and I keep getting thrown non stop in the open beta, it’s annoying but I gotta time my throws better so I can break it I think
0:20 LUKE, IM TWEAKIN OFF THE PERC 30!
holy moly the switch port is looking good
Yo i didnt know that sf6 would actually be the light version of MVC3! Truly a surprise
Killer Instinct is laughing at this
Im split on the idea you can use all your resources on a full health player and they can walk away vs. Someone who can kill you from full health. I get not wanting to get one comboed and die, but at the same time I feel like the resources dont feel as strong. So maybe making resources harder to attain could justify ko from full health, but idk. Maybe someone else here can give me their thoughts.
TODs are kind of against SF core design and would be really terrible for the game.
DBFZ it is okay to have TODs because you have three characters life bar
Strive actually been reducing damage in various ways because TODs were to common on characters not named Chipp and that game at least has a burst mechanic
Similar KOF is a team fighter and you will probably see at best one TOD on a match due to needing so much meter.
DnF duel had to buff everyone's guard break and health values because of too many TODs
TODs are generally not cool in non-team fighters or games without burst mechanics
Edit: Outside of Alpha 3 even in games where you had to build resources like 4 and 5 you are lucky to get more then 50% even if you dump all resources.
More like a return to form than anything else.
I’m scared to lose half my health bar in one combo
Juri doing air combos like Marvel Super Heroes 😍
This legit looks like a umk3 brutality
Did I just see loops in street fighter 😭
That was a goddamn Marvel combo
wait she really just did the FighterZ air combo reset on him no way
Its street fighter neutral with anime combos, truly the perfect fighting game
(ok but actually i didnt play SF because of the rly short combos i might get jnto SF6)
