This scene is even better when you think about Jeff Goldblum sitting in a studio, doing all these weird things
Caro Land bruh
is this regular Jeff goldblum activity?
Those were from Goldblums home movies
I actually think it's funnier that the tentacles aren't animated.
@@richtigmann1 yes
I can’t believe they got Jeff goldblum to do that stuff lmao
What do you mean, they just turned on the camera in his dressing room & started recording.
Really? You can't believe Jeff Goldblum would do that? That's probably home footage he brought to Feige to edit.
Brando J LOL
your comment made me laugh hard for some reason lol
Goldblum probably asked to do it.
“Do you know what my dad said to me before he died?”
‘No’
“Me neither, ‘cause I wasn’t there-“
Tf hahahahaha😂😂
That was... er..
Reference to the 2005 hulk movie. Man I feel bad for Bruce.
Jeanluk Volker Do you mean 2003?
@@jeanlukvolker2358 2008.
I feel like this scene was cut cause it would have undermined the scene between thor and odin
AlphaNathan Online
Yah probably but they should have kept something relating to Bruce’s origins write his father
The Odin scene where he asks "are you the god of hammers" replaces this scene in the final cut,
I love the Thor and Odin scene because it created a meme lol
It was probably cut because of the line about Hela killing Odin because that scene got cut too.
William Wilczak what is your point? Are you made or are you implying some people are surprised by this?
Jeff Goldblum isn't acting, the crew set up hidden cameras in his trailer and this is what they ended up with.
im starting to believe jeff goldblum never actually got a script for this movie they just told him "be yourself" and shot that
@@cloutslvst7248 I would believe it. Jeff Goldblum and Christopher Walken need to do a movie together. The levels of eccentric strange that would ensue would ensure it was an instant masterpiece
Thank you for validating my headcanon.
i cant tell if you r joking or being serious?
@@cloutslvst7248 I heard that a lot of this movie was ad lib so that's probably at least somewhat true, lol
This scene could have been a great foreshadowing too. Thor used to think that his hammer gave him the ability to fly, but in reality the hammer was just to keep his powers in line. So the comparsion with Dumbo from Bruce is somewhat accurate.
el cucuy. Thor can’t fly without Thr hammer or stormbreaker
@@Muksss I mean he has part of the odinforce so he doesn't need the hammer to fly
el cucuy.
Thor Ragnarok: You don’t need a hammer. You are Thor god of thunder.
Avengers Infinity War: I need a hammer to kill Thanos.
Me: Make up your mind!
@@JohnSmith-wr7lg he needed a weapon to kill Thanos because obviously him just shooting lightnings at him didnt work when he got wrecked by him in the first scenes of infinity war
@@merlinthegray they didnt say he was stronger without weapon. Odin just said that he wasnt the god of hammer, meaning him relying on his weapon was not needed. It was his reliance on Mjolnir that made him not unlock his full potential but it didnt say Mjolnir was worthless as a weapon
I love how Banner was actually the one who said " You not the god of hammers " but it was a deep line in a comedic scene, so they had Odin say it to Thor to further motivate him
Bruce needs to "focus" on what he eats.
😂😂
ShavonCampbell14 So does Thor.
Was Thor even eating
Lime no
Reminds me of that moment when your eating something soft and you feel that unnerving unexpected crunch in your soft squishy food. Anyone? 😂😬
This scene is so wholesome, but couldn't have stayed in the *movie cut*
In this version, Odin was murdered by Hela. While in the *movie* version, Odin died naturally.
Or they could have just reshot the moment where thor says hela killed his father into him saying my father died right next to me or something
Wait seriously, I actually forgot that hella didn’t kill him in Thor Ragnarok
@@herrrooo8630 she gets released from her jail or something dumb when Odin dies
@@AM-qi1my Odin's natural death causes Hela to be released
As wholesome as it could get with Jeff Goldblum playing with two giant blue phallus. Lol
Odin: "Are you Thor, the god of hammers?"
Thor: "Well according to my friend I'm a 'dumbo,' so I guess not.
😂
I wish they'd found a way to keep the dumbo bit in, even if they couldn't use the entire scene because of storyboarding issues. That was GOLD😂
Wait? What?
@@animebrat76 Dumbo needed a feather to fly at first Just like Thor who needed a hammer to fly in the end both of them learned to fly without tools
This scene should have stayed
So true, I'm glad they kept the god of hammers line though
No this scene was stupid and made no sense. Glad it was taken out.
CuzItsAmazing but the jokes were bad.
a reference to the incredible hulk
I like the scene by itself. But they probably cut it out because it doesn’t integrate well with the adjacent scenes and cause pacing issues...
I love how the tentacles haven't been animated yet in the little hologram.
Let's not talk more about that...
I just assumed they were wearing selves
He was smacking himself with one of them but let's talk more about it! And how does one get that job?
I was wondering if that was on purpose or just an unfinished scene
Midnight_Admiral probably both, they didn't feel the need to put in the effort to animate the tentacles because they probably realized after shooting that it didn't work.
"Say it once more and I’ll tear your head off" His Aussie accent slipped through a little bit 😂😂
She looked at Thor when she finish it
You noticed that too. I was sure there was something between them, should have kept the scene in
Yeah seen it to was like she's flirting with him
She swallowed it and enjoyed it. That's what she meant.

I hope one day we get a closer look at Bruce's backstory and Hulk lore. There's a whole lot of great things to be explored about the two.
I mean in the she hulk tv series we will get a backstory of bruce and her cousin as kids and if any comic book fan knows is that bruce's childhood was hell more so than anyone could have imagine so yeah they probably will or won't explore that
Speaking the way she hulk trailer is released today.
@@fabianmoreno5950 they won't. The same way Stark's alcoholism and Cap's PTSD were ignored.

Yeah. For its flaws Hulk (2003) is the only time they use the “abused by his father” story on screen which I can praise it for.
kind of lame that they completely ignored bruce's father actually being an abusive asshole who killed his mother .
Yeah and that he's the one who killed him

This scene would be hella awkward since the blue sock puppet was supposed to be tentacles
It's clear that this room is only meant for two as Bruce entered, the door closed and Bruce looked at it.
"Orgies and stuff"
“My father was murdered right in front of me”
Now i finally get it because the new deleted scene where hela actually kills odin makes sense
That’s what I’m saying too so which is the real scene
I wonder what Thor’s reaction would be if Bruce just said “Yeah well I murdered my father” because that’s actually what happened in the comics

0:04 Star Wars hologram sound.
1:06 Thor perfectly describes the Skywalker Saga in Star Wars
The part when Odin said "are you the god of hammers?" to Thor was one of the most powerful moments in the movie, and it changed my life a bit too if I'm being honest. It would be significantly less impactful if during that scene you were thinking about this funny stuff.
everything about this movie is wonderful. The tone, the sets, the music, the actors and the story. Even the deleted scenes.
The tone is waaay to comedic for what it was supposed to be. It's supposed to be literaly the Ragnarok, a dark, serious and sad story in the source material. Here it's too much comedic, lighthearted and happy. Don't get les wrong, this comedic tone can exist for some funny movies, but for that movie it should've been at least more serious if it can't go dark to stay more family friendly for the MCU standards.
It's funny how both Thor and Hulk both became comedian at the same movie 😂😂😂
"You think that was it's tail? It didn't even say anything"
Frickin feather man, I laughed so hard.
Thor: "Your father died, too? I'm so sorry--"
Bruce: "Don't be. He used to beat me. A lot. And mom, too."
Those lines would have really added to the scene and hulk and bruce banner's character. I think this scene when bruce was talking about his father's death was implying, for those who read the comics that Bruce doesn't remember killing his father and ended up suppressing the memory subconsciously and replaced it with a happier outcome.

Bruce repeatedly calling Thor Dumbo is such a nice scene 😂 What makes it better is that while he's not really calling him dumb but referring to Dumbo the elephant and actually motivating Thor to be like him, it still fits because Thor seems to forget his powers and that's not very bright of him.

Jeff Goldblum is the best
ROU AZIR yeah especially in Jurassic park
I always wonder how they decide wether a scene should stay in the movie or not.
0:18 green screen contour on Bruce's head when the door close
BANNER: You're Dumbo. Dumbo. 🐘
THOR: Say it once more and I'll tear your head off. 😒
These two were hilarious together. 🤣🤣🤣
FYI: The scenes with Jeff Goldblum as a hologram here weren't fully rendered using CGI, the cloth puppets he fondles as well as the thing he was 'eating' before that were most definitely unfinished scenes where much more was required using post-processing (CGI). Its expensive so they leave it to the end as many scenes (like this one) aren't used in the final version.
Just a headsup!
This should’ve happened! Although then it wouldn’t of meant more when Odin said ‘you’re not the god of hammers’. It got me too when he said ‘no, your stronger’
There are so many amazing parts in this scene, it makes me so sad it was cut
1:35 You can't do that thor
Was he legally allowed to say that?
Imagine Loki (if he was in this deleted scene) being sick to his stomach at the sight of Valkyrie eating the weird looking creature. Imagine Loki throwing up in the next room.
Taika: Ok Jeff, we need you to do some random things that will appear on a hologram on your ship.
Jeff: Oookay. It's the party ship. Right? So so it's going to be some Magical stuff. I'm going to need some of those blue stick things.
When I am watching deleted scenes clips, I usually wonder why they didn’t make it to the movie. But with this one, I am curious why they shoot this scene in the first place
Bruce was the who asked Thor is he is the god of hammers? Before Odin
1:40 Banner looks down on what he is eating but still didnt know what he was eating....👌👌👌👌👌
It was nice to see Banner and Thor get a little more screen time together and to actually have a "real talk" for a minute. That said, the scene was a bit clunky and long so I'm glad it was removed. Would not have minded a tighter rewritten scene in its place though.
I actually thought that creature at first came from loki😂would’ve been great
i like that bruce said the "you're not the god of hammers" line. he is wise
This is the best scene in the mcu.i don’t care that it’s deleted.its canon to me.
Thor, in the middle of the final fight: "I'm Dumbo Y'all!!!"
this feels like a weird adult swim sketch
“Are you winning Thor?”
I can’t believe we were ROBBED of this scene
I love the way she eats that thing.. 🤔
you talking about Valkyrie or Tentacle-san?
I don’t care if Tessa Thompson wants to only be Badass. She’s hot.
she hates white men though.
So freaking hot
Brie made it quite clear. She doesn't hate men. She is dating so grow up. She actually had to say it in her speech. So grow up get a life and stop acting like a whining, baby.
I thought she looked good too👀 but then I saw endgame and she looked kinda fat so the attraction wore off

I like how bruce is eating Udon noodles, like all American's considered it foreign food."Alien:
"Say it once more and I'll tear your head off." Dang. That line delivery is Chef's Kiss. Love me some Hemsworth.
This scene would have been funny, if not for the fact, that in the comics Brien Banner was a very abusive father to Bruce, he even thought that he was "a Monster" because of the Bruce's superior intellect in his child years.
Not only that, but Brien killed Rebecca, Bruce's mother.
After that Brien was sentenced for a reabilitation, so he dissapeared from Bruce's life for a long time.
Until one day, when Brien was finally free and "sane". It turnes out, that he is not sane, and tried to kill Bruce at his mother's grave, but eventually died himself.
And all of that happend before the Gamma-Bomb/Hulk event
After writing all of it, it actually makes me wonder, if in MCU Bruce actually has repressed memories about his family... and his abusive father... But, it's a really dark backstory, so i wouldn't count on it.
Like, Bruce doesn't even talk about his family at all in comics, unless someone asks him straight, but here so casually menting it,.. seems weird to me.
Brien Banner is big figure in Hulk's lore, and just so simply mentioning him is a waste.
Probably, it is good this scene was deleted.
i'm kinda glad they cut this scene but it's funny as hell.
Like the Kirby style art on the door .
I wish they had kept this scene in, haha! Thor Ragnorak may be my favourite Marvel movie thanks to Taika Waititi!
