Loki is afraid of the hulk. Banner is afraid of loki
I don’t think banner is scared of anything at this point in the series.
@@risennv3297 clearly not dying, since he got up close and personal with the Bifrost.
Lol true
i see the irony here lmao
It's the ciiiiiiircle of liiiiiife!
Why is no one talking about the subtle little smile Loki gave after the snake story. He is everything.
The snake story was improv so the smile was very much Loki trying to stay in character lol
Nakhia Hodges yep💙
In thumbnail Loki looks like he is saying, "I am not overly fond of what follows".
Quantum I had no idea that was improv, that’s one of my favorite scenes.
It might be world serpent or jormungand reference
Fun fact: Chris Hemsworth improvised the “snake story” on the spot
Is this true?

Actually it happened in the comics.
90% of this film was basically improv.

Least not till later. Lol
She seen his duck
I feel like i know you!
It seems to me that the writers have Bruce and the Hulk as two separate entities in a way, rather than the Hulk being a larger green Bruce.
At least, until one of the later films with "smart Hulk".
She does, she didn’t know before though.
Mark Ruffalo's face when Thor tells the snake story. 😂
What about Valkyrie? You see those head movements? Like an actual snake. 😂
@@batch_2731 You right 😂
The snake story was apparently not in the script.
Yeah like Bruce is so into that snake story 🤣🤣
Yes you are right 😂😂😂
Amazing that half the script was ad lib. The director said, "Okay, we only have general storyboard with no actual script. So go nuts." And they did. And it's brilliant.
Really??
@@escorpionaira Yeah. Although he probably didn't say in the way I said it, but this movie is known for how the actors made up the script as they went along.
Of all the MCU movies, I like Thor Ragnarok the best. The first two Thor movies were so-so, but Thor Ragnarok feels so refreshingly funny.
I'm playing the (Ragnarok) director's commentary right now -- and Waititi is basically this stream-of-consciousness babbling hilariousness, never shuts up the whole time, keeps yakking about how "he got Hemsworth to do a topless scene" and how "he motion-captures all the characters, even Thor" and argues with his pre-school daughter about how, no, she doesn't drink coffee, and how dare she say that on a live commentary where thousands of fans will hear it and think he's a bad father. He's a mess, but it's a gut-busting funny mess.
So that's why this movie has so much comedy. I was wondering why most MCU jokes come from this movie.
"It's called the Re... Re- Revengers."
"'Revengers'?" 😂😂😂
Her face expression always gets me. 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
"I... um... am... I um... I haven't decided..."
Do you want revenge ?
It's lovely to watch the chemistry between Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth, which they repeated in MIB: International.
I mean tony later said they're not the prevengers. So there you have it.
The best part is that they're discussing it as if they're asking for pizza. 😂
Loki: Hello Bruce
Bruce: so......last time I saw you you were trying to kill everybody. Where are you at these days?

@@jellyfishi_ wow good catch

His range as an actor
The best thing though is Ruffalo. He didn't even smile, just put on a horror face and looked at Loki. That's some fine-ass acting.
@@ajdominguez1002 HA, his range? Yes lmao, he can range from "not smiling" to "smiling".

This movie is by far the funniest of the whole marvel cinematic universe, and this video just proves how of a masterpiece it is, between the “ do you want revenge ? “, the Devil’s Anus and the snake story I just wonder how many takes it took to get here

@@Zabey2001 considering he was just a muscle head before the first movie yea not much.
It's like he said to Jane in the first movie, "Where I come from magic and science are one and the same"
He is a meat head. But Asgard has a higher base line for education, especially for someone meant to inherit the throne. Though he still could not do the thing done by brilliant Earthlings like Tony, Bruce or Shuri.
@A Wolf that loves to howl "...without much knowledge..."
I beg to differ. Asgard was an advance civilization, so intelligence was of higher standards. That said, Thor might be the dumbest out of Asgardians, emphasis on "might be", but he himself is just a few steps below Tony and Banner in smarts.
3:10
Loki: Why not set the beast loose?
Thor: SSSHHHHhhhut up
There's no beast he's just being stupid
"Safe passage...through the anus"...the way he delivers that line cracks me up every time.

I wonder did that take a lot of takes?
The only anus I'd like to have a safe passage through is Tessa Thompson's. Otherwise this movie is trash and so are its jokes.
@@casbot71 haha “takes” 😂
One of my favorite moments in this scene is at 1:53. Thor and Bruce are having their science talk, and Valkyrie is chugging wine while nodding along.
and loki’s just listening 🤣
It also shows that thor isn't dumb
@@MrSNGIRI Agreed, his statement on the "strain" was not what I was expecting and it shows that the non-terrestrial beings have a vast knowledge of the universe and its forces of which Earthlings only barely scratch the surface. I also love removing the "dumb, blond jock" persona around Thor.
I am surprised Thor knows science. Where he's from, the people are still living in medieval age with albeit, incredible otherworldly technology. I thought he's all about magic. But seeing how he's able to carry a conversation with Bruce on science related topics I am amazed. Thor has grown alot from back to the days where he's a hothead or meathead or a dumb blonde jock that only knows to fight and show off.

Because it's very opposite from this one, where Kid Loki stabbed Thor to death... by accident.

1:09 Foreshadowing?
That's literally all speculation. Theres nothing that suggests that's how he killed him. That's just fans imaginations
apparently this scene was improvised so maybe that's why there's some plot holes in the 2 stories?
The guy who played loki did a good job of playing along with his improvision. That little smirk like he's reminiscing sealed it.
No one talks about how good Thor was in this movie. I love how they have him begging for help and trying to get everyone under control so they can work as a team. "Refuel on Xandar"
Funny thing about this line is that Thanos was probably pushing towards or laying waste to Xandar as they were speaking to collect the Power Stone.

@@mrcritical6751 Odin was too old, why Thanos was afraid of him?

There is an alternate reality where Kid Loki stab Thor a little too hard…
2:16 makes me laugh so much as it's so in character for Valkryie to throw the glass bottle as Asgardians do that after they've finished and want 'another' but it was also to shut Loki up. Gold. Zemo had a similar moment in TF&TWS too
Episode 5 brought me back
The "I don't mean to impose" from Loki is so similar to Zemo's "If I may" and now I wanna see the two of them together against the Avengers XD
I think I'm invaluable
I know some people hate this movie for the humour, but the little insights into the character’s personalities is really pretty good. Loki staring wild eyed into Banners saying “it varies from moment to moment” is genuinely threatening. In fact I think Loki gets the best representation in this movie of all of the ones he’s been featured in.
He acts the same as he always had, meanwhile everyone else was way more goofy than usual, it flowed really well, my favorite MCU solo film by far.
Who?
Even all the jokes are character insights. Especially 'Get Help'
I laugh at people who are angry about the humor
Nothing wrong with the humor. In fact it’s kinda hilarious. But the focus was too strong as it made cast members like Thor feel out of character.

Is it just me or does the first part of the scene, up to "surprise~", seem to have a Wes Anderson feel? The symmetric shots, the quiet and awkward banter, the facial expressions (especially from Valkyrie), they all seem very much like Wes Anderson's style.
