The reason the scene with Thor and Loki in New York is because that's how the scene was originally filmed, but it didn't do well with test audiences. Odin, instead of being in Norway, was going to be a bum in New York, but this caused test audiences to question why he didn't seek help from the Avengers. You're joking right? The Black Panther was garbage? I'm sorry, but you can still be racist towards your own kind, as I've seen it plenty of times and I'm black also. The Black Panther in my opinion is the best to come from the MCU. Thor Ragnarok was great and the best till The Black Panther came out.
I liked Black Panther, but I was really disappointed in the their CGI. For as big of a staple of the Marvel movies BP is going to be, I thought they'd have gotten better CGI. The computer graphics in Iron Man 1 are better.
If you automatically assume someone is racist because they don't like a movie with a black cast then I guess I'm racist for not liking Tyler Perry's shitty movies. Black Panther was an ok movie with a few great moments and an important message with a successful way of conveying it. Fun movie, some might hate it, some definitely think it's the best in the MCU (Civil War, Ragnarok, Winter Soldier and GotG 1 and 2 are better than BP imho) but y'all dumb as fuck if you're gonna call someone a racist because he didn't like a fucking movie LOL.

god this movie was so good, the best really. Tessa's physicality was so amazing i'm glad the expanded on what went into it. I remember watching the movie and wondering what made me love her so much where as watching wonder woman I was like, sure but she still seems weak. Tessa just was such a bad ass he fighting was so powerful! I BETTER SEEM MORE OF HER! Also thank you for being so amazing.
It's honestly to bad Taika Waititi wasn't given control of star wars, if so it would have been unique, exciting, FUNNY, and went in a new deep and amazing direction. Instead Rain Johnson has tried his best to damn destroy star wars! lol I say hire Taika Waititi for episode 9 and/or a new trilogy like darth bane or Revan.
I love that movie BUT it I'm kinda disappointed at how the character of Hela was mistreated, especially seeing how relationships between other characters were developed. She seemed to be lacking depth and personal connections to Thor and Loki. We know she had to be kept away from Asgard, we know she's bitter about Odin, we know she's highly skilled, but despite that she feels like a Generic Villain no. 17 only here to pass some info about Odin's past. Especially the way she's introduced- just appearing righ after she is mentioned, unbothered and ready to kick ass. It kinda makes sense since she's a powerful character, but it's hard to care about her and I doubt people will remember her in few years. I wish her motivations, past, flaws etc. were explored a bit more and I hope there will be a chance in the future.
Like, if they showed where had she been. Or if it took her some time to realise Odin's dead, just to create some tension and expectations that would later be met or not. That would create some kind of connection between viewer and her as well as between her and other characters, because for some time she would be that unknown threat everyone would want to know more about. Instead what we got was "oh, so there is a sister? And she's dangerous? I wonder... oh well nevermind there she is" And I'm not trying trying to say the movie was bad, because it wasn't, what I'm saying is I thing this is what makes it imperfect and I'm honestly surprised the Marvel's Generic Villain Problem was visible even here
I would say that this time being generically evil is understandable. That is what Odin made her into. Killing is such a major part of Hela's purpose, that she is named the Goddess of DEATH. Odin wanted to conquer, and he made Hela to be his tool for that. If you need a hammer and buy one, are you disappointed that it's not also a whisk and a pen? Odin wanted Hela to be a henchman, nothing more. But she surprised Odin with her ambition and violence. She wanted to rule, but we don't know what her empire would've been like, cause she never has the chance to rule. Throughout the movie she is trying to conquer, not rule. It's not that surprising that a conquering tool in the midst of conquering might come off as a bit of a one sided character. Also, wouldn't it be odd if she DIDN'T appear right after Odin's death? Odin was the bars of her cell. With the bars gone, why wouldn't she just stroll out? She's been waiting for Odin to die for thousands of years, dreaming about that moment. It would be odd if she didn't have an action plan. She wouldn't be like "Oh, this is all so sudden, I haven't really thought about this." I don't really know how she should react to Thor and Loki. I think its pretty typical to not love siblings you only met for the first time as an adult. And it's normal to be angry when your dad abandoned you and had a new family that's all better and posher than the family he had with you. People also usually get pissed when their parents have different rules for different children. Hela was the older sibling who did all her dad wanted and still had strict rules, like "no, you don't get to rule, not ever". But then there are the two younger siblings, who are (in her eyes, at least) just a couple of idiots and not nearly as powerful as her, and suddenly daddy is all "Sure, one of you can rule when I die! You don't want to rule, Thor? Oh, but you would be so good at it, please be the king!" If I were Hela, I would probably want to kill my baby brothers too...
It's still psychologically unlikely. She (probably, I'm not enough of a marvel fan to say for sure) wasn't frozen in time from the moment Odin stopped needing her until his death. That's a lot of time to change. Grow bitter. Become just a tiny bit more vulnerable. Whatever. Explaining her lack of depth by her being a tool is just excusing lazy choices in writing her. Especially when we're talking about the main villain - some side-whoever may be a hammer, but she should be at least a multitool, if the audience is supposed to care.
It's like a Sexy Lamp Test, but in comic villain version - Lamp That Obliterates Anything And Anyone Who Touches It (and Moves Fast Enough To Be a Threat) If the villain can be replaced with lamp like that, the audience is not going to care. Hela is dangerously close to failing that test.
I have seen a lot of hate from other threads about this movie. This is my favorite Marvel movie out there. They got to be unique and they knocked it out of the park.
Black Panther felt more like a Phase 1 Marvel movie cast in the mold of Iron Man 1. I am very happy they didn't quip that much, but let's be honest it wasn't that interesting, nor was what was going on that interesting. Sure Kilmonger was a great villain, but he's also just the same thing as Black Panther but evil. Just like the Abomination in the Incredible Hulk, the Iron Monger, Loki etc. so the action is less interesting. It just became a whole bunch of ninja fights with laser shields, the CGI in the final battle was just awful. I mean I guess Kilmonger was going to start a race war for whatever reason. Put that in comparison to Ragnarok, where Thor's hammer gets destroyed and he gets thrown into a world as a gladiator to fight the Hulk, who has fully become his own personality separate from Banner. It's wacky, it's colorful and it's interesting. All this while on the race against the clock to get back to Asgard to save its people. And instead of just beating up the villian, the hero outsmarts her, while making a huge sacrifice that any other hero wouldn't do. After all, we wouldn't see T'Challa destroying Wakanda. I personally love the movies where the super hero, instead of just beating the crap out of the villian in the end, outsmarts them instead. This is what I didn't like about Black Panther, T'Challa dies, then comes back. Technically Kilmonger is rightfully the Black Panther so T'Challa's claims make no sense. Anyway, he then just beats up Kilmonger. He didn't learn anything or get some new weapon that can hurt the Black Panther suit or get enough experience to outmaneuver Kilmonger, he just fights him again, like each fight is decided by a dice roll. This annoys me to no end more than anything. At least in say the Incredible Hulk, the Hulk finds the new limit to his powers and has to use them in a creative way to take on the Abomination. T'Challa is already an expert in using the suit and has been since the start of the movie, and he doesn't do anything differently in his second fight. This annoys me to no end. Also T'Challa was way cooler in Civil war. While I think overall Civil War is worse than Black Panther, T'Challa was the highlight of Civil War whereas in BP he drifted dangerously close to a side character.
Loki's face the whole time Thor is fighting the Hulk! Priceless! You can tell he is nervous, and feeling maybe just a little bad for Thor because he knows what it is like to get beat up by the Hulk. Also... Every time I hear Taika Waititi's voice I will think of Korg. Forever.
I like how Taika waititi rants in 15:00 on his family asking why he isn't j j abrams making star wars. but now the cards are out and we see he didn't even have a competition. And he made one of the best marvel movies

She does a really great English accent
@@rorywhelan_ that's because that is her accent her father Ugandan a mother's white British but don't worry you can see Helmsworth and Thompson back together again in the new Men In Black movie the setting take place in London of course she'll be doing it in American accent she do look good naked or not admit that like she does in the west-world her body is hot
@@charlesneely Are you sure you're talking about Tessa Thompson and not Thandie Newton?
Everyone is
wow the green screen is bad before rendering... looks like how dc movies look in the final wtf o_o
You need a slap for that. So disrespectful.
Hands down the best marvel movie to date. Like I thought GotG I and II were funny, Antman, and Deadpool. But this set a new bar!
Alien Outpost it sucked because you’re racist
You're joking right? The Black Panther was garbage? I'm sorry, but you can still be racist towards your own kind, as I've seen it plenty of times and I'm black also.
The Black Panther in my opinion is the best to come from the MCU. Thor Ragnarok was great and the best till The Black Panther came out.
I haven't watched Black Panther yet.
"pass me the melt stick"
I loved this movieThis was the first Thor movie where I was interested in Thor and not Loki I loved Valkyrie and Hella I loved that this movie was so different
Girlonfire 2.0 saw the first one because I thought I had to but the second one just looks so dull and depressing
Tom and Chris are just too adorable .On and off camera .😭
Amazing director new director he made the film something different and funny to Thor Ragnarok amazing film watched it loads of times now and I'm in love with the film made me laugh in parts :)
Thor: yesss hey we know each other he's a friend from work
Lmaooo
Loki expression on hes face he looks scared he remembers his last encounter with hulk yikes
Love how he stands up when hulk smashes Thor on the ground
Loki says yes now you how it feels cause that happened to him what happened to Thor lmaoo 😂😂😂 the characters where also different in this film what I liked :)
also at one point Loki seems feared for thors life..
Loki: we are not doing get help
*Elevator opens*
Thor: Get help
god this movie was so good, the best really. Also thank you for being so amazing.
taika waititi is one of the best directors and human beings ever!
If you haven't seen it, check out his vampire film, "What we do in darkness." Absolutely hilarious!! (Also has Jermaine from FOTC)
I loved everyone's weird attraction to Stew XD
Good movies are good movies. Has nothing to do with attraction.
Robert Downey...Close...it's "What We Do in the Shadows"....and is set in my home town! ;)
WWDTS is fucking hilarious 😂
"Loki, look who it is," points at the hulk 😅 Loki's face, priceless
It's honestly to bad Taika Waititi wasn't given control of star wars, if so it would have been unique, exciting, FUNNY, and went in a new deep and amazing direction. Instead Rain Johnson has tried his best to damn destroy star wars! lol I say hire Taika Waititi for episode 9 and/or a new trilogy like darth bane or Revan.
Adam Sarduci in my honest opinion, a perfect world would be taika waititi directs "EVERYTHING "
Maybe not episodes 9. But he should have done solo.
Yeah I agree. Would've loved to see him direct solo.
@@jessier8949 in retrospect, maybe all the sequels
I swear they just let Jeff Goldbloom go on tangents.😂😂😂😂
That movie was so much fun to watch! I had to go see it 3 times. Looking forward to get it on blue ray.
Loki is so cute. Love the Grand Master too. What a nut! Chris is as cute as Christmas!
Assguard?
Assburg...
Ass- place
I am gonna plunge my sword deep into Assguard!
I wonder... oh well nevermind there she is"
And I'm not trying trying to say the movie was bad, because it wasn't, what I'm saying is I thing this is what makes it imperfect and I'm honestly surprised the Marvel's Generic Villain Problem was visible even here
I would say that this time being generically evil is understandable.
She wouldn't be like "Oh, this is all so sudden, I haven't really thought about this."
I don't really know how she should react to Thor and Loki.
It's like a Sexy Lamp Test, but in comic villain version - Lamp That Obliterates Anything And Anyone Who Touches It (and Moves Fast Enough To Be a Threat)
If the villain can be replaced with lamp like that, the audience is not going to care. Hela is dangerously close to failing that test.
Ya maybe Odin shouldn't have died, he would have tied them together a bit more.
lol, Ass Guard... was rolling on the floor XD
"we shoulda called you JJ Abrams"
I have seen a lot of hate from other threads about this movie. This is my favorite Marvel movie out there. They got to be unique and they knocked it out of the park.
“High five not hold hands.”
😂😂👏
I would not say that she "fights like a boy" or "fight like a girl", she fights like someone who knows how to fight.
@pyropulse lol u never played dnd before have u
7:05 Jeff Goldblum has got to be a grandmaster at Charades too...
Thor and the MCU really needed this ... Taika I forever love you
I waited for lokis and thors hug :((
wait korg and meik are cgi wtf
Those are just their stunt doubles.
I know right. They should've cast some real stone people. Marvel and their whitewashing
plasticguitar 😂😂
don't worry I thought they were real too
TheFallingArc feels bad
Seems that these recent Marvel movies are just a ton of really nice people having fun together.
Also Zoe Bell in this featurette was Lucy Lawless' stunt double in Xena The Warrior Princess.
Uma Thurman's double, and also in Death Proof
and in the hateful 8
Oh and also in Django Unchained!
Thor Ragnarok > Black Panther.
FMFvideos easy
2 totally different movies. Black Panther was more serious & Ragnorok was a sci fi Comedy
Thor The Dark World > Black Panther
Both for me!
Thor Ragnarok made my 2017
“Call me dumbo one more time I’ll tear your head off “😂
One of the very best Marvel movies!
Forever.
Great movie, glad they weren’t afraid to inject some humor.
I wish they had kept the scene with Banner eating the worm. I would've dropped my popcorn. LOL
The unfinished bird effect looks like Birdemic lmao
15:18 well, mum and dad would be proud now since Taika is signed on to direct Star Wars
I just want a sitcom of Thor & Pals messing around
and eating shawarma
Warp zone should have that
lol yeah
Except Infinity War, Thor Ragnarok is the best Marval Movie ever period.
“the happiest times are beating people up.”
*ok*
I like how Taika waititi rants in 15:00 on his family asking why he isn't j j abrams making star wars. but now the cards are out and we see he didn't even have a competition. And he made one of the best marvel movies
I love Thor ragnorak
Marvel & Dc 4 life play the whole movie
who doesnt?
Marvel & Dc 4 life "Peter Parker."
"Dr. Strange"
"oh... we're using our 'made up names'. then I'm ... Spider-Man."
That's why you spell it this way, right?
martinwettig probably a common mistake on his part.
I absolutely loved the direction they took Thor in Ragnorok. I remember going to the cinema being sure i would enjoy the film but not as much as i did! This one is easily one of my favourites! I wonder if we will ever see the Grandmaster again xD
Oh, so they attempt to explain obedience disc at one point? I hope they explain the neurotoxic something in the movie so people stop said god of thunder lose to small electric device.
Paperism obedience
4:15 marks calm, tired, confused way of talking is the cutest thing ever. He's adorable. I can't.
"Say it once more and I'll tear your head off" should definitely have made the movie one way or another.
I kinda wish they kept in the Dumbo scene.
