It's not that strange if you've traveled to other countries. Many people speak English in this part of Asia, at least at a basic level. It's more surprising to find someone who doesn't know any at all. It's not a matter of obligation but just a normality. SEA languages are hard to learn quickly when you're just driving through like he is. I lived in Thailand for months studying Thai and I still suck at it, their English is better since they learn it in school from a young age, so it's not that crazy that you'll end up conversing in English if your Vietnamese/Thai/Whatever isn't there. It's like how many Americans know basic Spanish from school, except here they care way more about learning English than we do our second languages. I end up using my phone to translate in these kind of situations, but maybe he had no signal.
Found your channel while viewing other travel vlogs, instantly started watching yours. The sense of humor and editing is hilarious! The part where he says he's never shaved a beard and then your black and white scraping shave sound 😂😂😂😂😂
I could be wrong, but the airy chips might be due to elevation. I bought some in mexico, normal bag, and when we were in colorado all the bags were like that one haha.

The chip bag isn’t filled with air, they were packed in a factory with higher air pressure so as the air pressure drops the pressure inside the bag is greater than the air pressure outside and the bag inflates :)
Hey man, I don't know how your keeping a straight face at 12:05, getting the brush painting on your face. I'd be cracking up big time, as I'd be getting the face treatment. 😂🎉
The reason the chips are puffed out is it’s packaged at a lower elevation where the pressure is lower and you were at a pretty high elevation and the the pressure of the gases inside the bag exceeds the outer atmospheric pressure, putting pressure on the chips bag's side covering, causing it to expand.
Vietnam has been a part of China's territory for over 4500 years . since 500 years ago . Vietnam became a vassal state of China in the late Ming Dynasty. Over 100 years ago, France invaded Vietnam and turned it into a French colony. After a war broke out between the central government of Beijing and France, China signed an agreement recognizing Vietnam's independence. In the 1870s, Vietnam completely split from China and became a country
Bro. You say so many disrespectful things in English. I'm sure you dealt with lots of people doing it to you on your travels. But you just throw it out there, and apparently, hundreds of thousands of people enjoy that. The world is fucked up for real.

They don't fill their bags of chips with air it's because of the pressure due to the altitude. The chips in Colorado look the same as well and when I see deflated bags I think oh it's probably stale.

By the way the chips beingfilled with air isn’t cause they’re filled with air it’s cause you’re at high altitude where there’s less oxygen so the bag expands or less pressure at higher altitude
You're at altitude, m8. Air is less dense/the atmospheric pressure is lower, which is why the bag of chips was puffed out and why your carbureted scooter was leaning out once you started into the mountains. If you'd adjusted the choke, it would've been fine.
Just started watching your adventures. Got to say I am hooked. I have a question. How do you charge your phone and camera in these rural in the middle of nowhere places?.
I have travelled extensively in the mountains, and it sucks because the camera and a 2D screen can never accurately capture the magesty of a 3D mountainscape in front of your eyes. It almost seems like the camera shrinks the mountains and they look less impressive. Im sure those places you stopped were absolutely awe inspiring. Just knowing what I know, those vistas had to be magnificent. Then to have coffee and noodles on the edge of a cliff overlooking that valley... wonderful... (also yes, you add the coffee to the little coffee cup instead, thats why they only perc about 4-5 oz of liquid, so it fits in the little coffee cup with the condensed milk)
