The World's Most Bizarre Border

- One of the strangest experiences of my life- these 2 countries have an extremely violent history, but for some reason, every single day India and Pakistan come together to host a huge parade that consists of special dances, chants, and a flag lowering ceremony. Ask any Indian and they will tell you they never wanna set foot in Pakistan, and vice versa. But today we're trying to walk across the world's most bizarre border, while a huge, bizarre ceremony unfolds around us. Like I said, a very strange day. Thanks for coming along.

The World's Most Bizarre Border
I have never smiled more from a youtube video that these 24 minutes made me.
🥹this makes me very happy! Glad you enjoyed :)
S
@@SmallBrainedAmerican Just found your videos theyre great well done
@@SmallBrainedAmerican you go to all the slums of india and a rich persons house in pakistan well done dude
liar
man sits there and watches the border closing ceremony and then realized the border is closed
Hahaha 😂😂😂
How would he know? Live & learn.
Right?! That had me laughing hysterically.
@@merseltzerit’s literally in the name of the ceremony
I'm new to this channel and this comment made me laugh so hard haha!
The drunk guy was actually looking out for you quite vehemently. It was kinda wholesome to watch cuz i understood the language
he's such a rude obnoxious POS
What did he say?
PIN THIS COMMENT ALREADY :)
Well said Milkbags69
@@kkahmeful he was telling the bike guy to make sure he got small to where he wanted to go safely. He repeated it several times and told him not to make any stops and to make sure he arrives on time
The drunken guy was looking out for him - telling the motorbike guy not to stop anywhere or funny business, and to drop him off where he needed to. hehe he knew the youtuber was running late. :p
😬
He still wasted his time
yes almost made him miss the bus, but the uber bike guy was friendly any way, the drunk guy was a nuisance
man your channel is actually probably the most authentic travel vlog out there, no bullshit over the top editing, just raw.
lol.. Never seen or heard of Vagrant Holiday or tons others it seems.
@@dannygreen592 this guy gives me a vagrant holiday feel which is why i like this channel
Bald n Bankrupt is pretty authentic as well
There was heaps of over the top editing at 9:13!
bro he's on another level@@21darkster
Bro.. Did you really just watch the entire border closing ceremony and then not realize the border was closed? Lmfao.
they do that everyday?????????
Yep
@@xMuserryep
No wonder these guys were low key making fun of you when they were trying to explain you couldn't cross to Pakistan, as you litterally just witnessed the border crossing ceremony haha.
This guy is hillarious.
That was such a pikachu surprise meme moment 😂😂😂😂😂
Because in every other country on Earth you go through normal customs, without any of this nonsensical theatrics.
They do this border ceremony EVERY DAY? And that many people show up to it every single day? Wow. What the hell lol. I just read the wikipedia article. I'm in awe.
Just some hyper realistic people
~1,5 billion people. Yeah, it will be crowded!
The tuck tuck driver was actually trying to help you and went out of his way to try and get you across the border. He should have got a tip.
he did
“Let’s go have tea on the rooftop” was such a baller line
Pakistani equivalent to “let’s take a walk” at the function with your cousins
Really funny to see you try and ask everyone if you can cross into Pakistan while you just watched the border closing ceremony 😂 those guys were so confused, no way to make gora see the light
Thats hilarious
The confusion in each “No…” hit so hard
His really is small brained 😂😂😂
Mate I'm so glad RUclips randomly recommended your channel to me today. Beyond refreshing to see such raw travel footage. Hopefully the algorithm is reaching more people!
I feel ya, it’s good content
happening to me right now. This channel popped up out of the blue and I'm binging hard. It's amazing content.
Same!
This just happened to me 😅 I really enjoy the content of these videos
He wasnt a drunk ... he was asking biker to get u there safely .. he was trying to help as u weee guest in india
He did say that but also he was drunk for sure
@@kira991 noway .. i dont think so
Loving everyone drunkenness phase!
I am Indian but First time seeing it as it is from Foreigners Perspective.. It's really Funny 😂
dude just casually crossed across India Pakistan border like nothing! kudos
Bcuz He is an American
@@Khan-bu5hkpeople underestimate power of the passport
16:25 ohhhhhh I see now. Not me yelling, *WHERE’S HIS BAG?!”* over and over again the entire video 🤣🤣🤣
This has got to be one of the most interesting videos i've ever watched. Living in America for my entire life, and never traveling out of country, I would have never guessed or expected a massive ceremony on the border between countries to exist. Do I know the reason for it? No. But the sheer rush to get in, chanting, and joy on everyone's faces makes me so happy and has opened my eyes to just how diverse the world is. The culture and traditions seen here were amazing, and I wouldn't have ever known they existed without watching this video.
It's a border closing ceremony. It's a way for us to remember that we are not entirely divided by imperial division. Do come by. It's chaotic. You'll love it.
im neither but i have to say this, the difference between india and pakistan is so massive, its like hell and heaven but pakistan is the heaven, really could see the cleanliness and respect of people as he stepped in to pakistan, holy i should visit that place someday❤
The fact that you remain so calm throughout everything is awesome haha I'm born and raised in the US but my parents are from Hyderabad so I make visits every now and then and let me tell you I deff feel very out of place and uncomfortable even being indian lmao
Ig you haven't lived in a country from birth you will obviously feel different specially in countries so different from each other
I've been binge watching a plethora of YT videos for years on so many different topics. I have to say, your channel is so entertaining and interesting. Thank you so much! Well done!
Thanks very much for the kind words 🙏🙏
That Uber driver was an absolute legend!
Every video you post deserves 100x the views. Much love brother!
Thank you my dude! Share with your friends!!
Dang Pakistan looks super chill
I'd trust going out at night in Lahore or Istanbul way more than like 85% of cities in US, its unfortunately the Afghan and Kashmir borders were the war happens and leaks into cities with bombings and mischievous stuff. The people are great for the most part.
1:17 he is saying that leave this brother safely on his journey and don't do any fuss
Yes...He even said that this guy is our pride....
Yeah, I didn’t understand the language but I knew for sure he was just being nice but Conor didn’t get him 😅
Dude ur getting to experience the beauty of all these cultures this is awesome, stay safe and can’t wait for the next video
Thanks so much for the support 🤝 I’ve got some really good stuff from Pakistan- can’t wait to show you
@@SmallBrainedAmerican Awesome can’t wait to see it!🔥
I love going thru "no man's land" always a minute of quiet time to remind you that it's all about the adventure.
Another good video.
Congratulations. Probably the most authentic and raw vblog I've ever watched. Such a breath of fresh air compared to the typical "influencer" scene
11:50 the taxi man is still looking for you to this day
all of the sudden Pakistan seems like a qiuet little zone out place.😅. Love to both nations from Denmark 💕🙏
I don't know how you got recommended on my feed.. but damn, I am loving each and every video of your channel.. the authenticity is hilarious !!
I love the fact that you negotiate every time. It shows your confidence !
Dude goes to view the border closing ceremony then wonders why he can't cross the border....how I laughed🤣
That looks like such a trip! Maximum culture shock! It's like a different universe there compared to the west!
This channel and content is incredibly underrated i hope you get the recognition you deserve 😊
Actually the border you were talking about is one of the oldest road in asia called Grand Trunk Road.
That motorcycle dude is a total badass helping you
I love this channel. Please never stop! Bi-curiously living through your travels has been the highlight of my free time lately. This channel deserves all the subs in the world.
This is the most authentic channel on the entire freaking RUclips platform!
Hello
Just stumbled across your channel.
Great videos!!
Cheers from Saskatchewan
That "drunk indian tounges " was saying okay bro leave him politely and take care.... !!!!!
He treats everyone like they're retarded and he's the smart one when it's always the other way around.
What an adventure for you! Keep up the great work. Stay safe!
Much appreciated, thanks for the continued support!
I’m so glad your channel ended up in my feed. I’m obsessed.❤❤❤
man i love your vids, on my second time watching through all the videos.
Was the kick in the ass I needed to book my flight and start backpacking in the fall.
I traveled around Thailand and Laos for a month in 2017 and your videos make me want to go back again so bad.
The drunk guy was being nice to you.
I could never do this by myself, especially somewhere where I didn't speak the language. So I'm glad to experience it vicariously through you. Now to click the subscribe button...
Impressive how friendly everyone is

travel vlog I actually enjoy watching.
good stuff!
bring me smiles just watching the raw confusion you have dealing with the people & language barrier.
keep it up man.
love from Indonesia.
come visit Indonesia sometimes.
it's a safe country in general and people are also hospitable but still be wary though, we do have scammers lurking around but not as bad compared to other south east asian countries.
22:43 😂😂😂😂 "it's just a simple sandwich"
Bro who knew Pakistan was so welcoming and friendly…? Big respect to everyone you met there in this video and the other ones in that wonderful country 💚
Great presentation, thanks!
coming from USA this guy chooses to experience aspects of India that I as a resident Indian all my life would never. I agree for 90% of the indians this is their life but there are surely much easier and convenient ways to travel. I am not complaining, it's your choice to experience and showcase this but I would also recommend that you pay the premium and experience the more convenient side of travelling across India and then document that experience too. It might be a more fulfilling experience even if the views are a bit less
Ya he is like will travel in general coach of train n will show how bad it is
@@gosh9084 which is fine, my point here is he should atleast try all the premium options and get the side of india where the experience of travel and logistics does not ruin the experience for him. It gives a more complete picture.
Excellent video. It was so fun
As a black guy visiting India once, I told the locals "I'm from America, United States". "Which State" they asked. I replied, "Illinois, Chicago" They said "Ah yes, NEE-gur, bang-bang, CHICAGO!" 😂🤣
Best travel blogger on here. Thanks for these videos I really enjoyed them.
I’ve yet to go back to India since migrating to USA since the age of 6, and it’s great to watch it through you!
You've got some big go- nads, id never be able to travel alone, and live minute by minute.. great job and may God bless you on your travels.
Great stories...Thanks! An amazing display of patriotism.
In Morocco we sit on the roof at night too. Enjoying tea and watermelon after a long day (maybe smokes) and just chat. Very nice to end your day on the rooftop
Sounds nice 😊

This is such a cool channel man. Love your vibe and perspective on the world! And we share the same name!
Hey man, enjoying all your video's! Best travel video's on the Tube! Peace!
I find myself just sitting with a perplexed smile on my face by the end of every single vid of yours that I see.
that whole ceremonial thing u just spectated was the opening/closing of the borders ... hahahahahahaat the end of the ceremony, its closed for the day
Wow I never knew about this ceremony
Can’t wait til your book comes out someday about your journeys.. what a great life.
Watching your travel vlog feels like seeing a thriller movie. And when you arrived in your friend's comfort house is a happy ending 😅
I had a smile on my face, a WIDE smile, the entire video. Thank you for this experience. Stay safe.
how chill is that! good food nice people a nice home.. who knew. those cultures are big on hospitality
By the way, I'm glad you took your hat off. I was convinced you had a mullet and it was the one thing I was holding against you! hahaha
Im literally binge watching your videos. Love the no Bullsht comments. Just raw, There's a lot of vloggers that always make fake comments just to impress the viewers and I totally hate that sht.
That first few minutes was as full of suspense as a Hitchcock film! ;) Bravo!
After watching 4 of your videos, I'm misreading your RUclips channel 😂😂 im read it Small Behind American.. I guess it was my good prejudice that ruled that.
Oh man that was so lovely when you said "amazing hospitality", and the answer was "just the start". So lovely. People can be great.
Your videos are awesome!
ole boy at the border was rocking what looked like an IWI x95 bullpup. that's pretty cool honestly. that rifle runs like 2 grand, nice to see they don't cheap out on their troops
that bus looks epic!
Man went to the border closing ceremony then didn't believe the border was closed 😭😭😭
Getting on that bus was hectic!
Awesome video!!!
Thanks Redline Rick 🙏
I thought my walking border crossing from Vietnam to China was wild. But this is on so many levels crazier.
Really great stuff and very funny .. not my thing but cudos to you for sharing
oh my goodness you give me anxiety101.
Lol love and blessings
That is a very bizarre border for sure!
Not sure there’s anything else like this is in the world ! Very unique
you have no idea..how much i miss these little experiences
What a fascinating way to cross the border.. with theatre!
I love the way u really pronounce your t's when speaking to the people 🤣
that's awesome. they waited for you!
Addictive and fun to watch.
Good channel you have big man
I love watching you travel the world. Especially Japan. That border crossing was interesting!
Best travel blog. Please don’t ever change the style of your footage or what you and how you film and meet people. I’ll be sure to throw you some cash when I have some to spare you got my word brother 👊
