So currently I’ve seen 3 reasons for Harvey’s memory loss. 1. the fall 2. His DID and that night being extra traumatic 3. His therapy with Crane 3 is interesting because it’s revealed in the audio logs that Crane uses some “experimental drugs” on Harvey and it’s also revealed by what happened to Wesker that that stuff affects your mind heavily and could lead to some memory loss I think between those 3 things it makes sense that his memory is slipping, but it definitely is weird it happened twice but amnesia plots are so common in comic media I just don’t care anymore lmao
Glad you enjoyed it dude, a few of my points. Wanting to hit Joe kinda misses the point though, he sees that Joe is just a man who suffers with guilt not a monster. Regarding the "Batcave" in Blackgate, its just the Batsuit Pod and 3 computers that are dropped in with drones (we see them fly in the first time you get there) definitely not a fully stocked Batcave. The memory loss thing...yeah your right it is annoying to have that happen twice in two games but I loved the end scene with Dent so I forgive it. The fetch quests, as you say every Arkham game has them and it is filler just like the penguin jammers in city. With the combat yeah when you get annoyed especially when the Rats start surrendering and you are just beating them senseless and the game rewards you for punching harder.
