I literally play this game on a low end laptop. Even with some lag a few times. I'm playing this game for months. And it's my favourite game after Arkham city. It's like 100+ hours in this game

What's funny is that I actually like the firfly fight more in arkham night. It's way more flashy and chaotic, which is fitting for someone who loves chaos.

Wdym asylum has the worst designs compared to the other games? the other games literally have the exact same designs

My Ranking is. 1 Origins. Easily the best story in the saga and has the best boss fights and combat variety. 2 Knight. Second best story and the overall qol improvements from previous games plus the overall advancement makes it a great gameplay experience. 3 Shadow. It may be shorter but it’s full of detail and has the best detective experience with the inclusion of the Matches alias. 4 Asylum. Still holds up today simple and sweet plot what it lacks in improved gameplay it makes up for in its art direction. 5 Blackgate. While the gameplay is certainly odd for an Arkham game its story adds a lot and acts as a great epilogue plot for origins. And dead last City. The story is the worst in the entire series, the lack of plot and horrible art direction makes it really bad compared to the previous games plus asylum.

the list for me is. 1. Batnan arkham knight, the gamplay is so good, the combat, stealth, and batmobile combat is all very fun to me, and yhe mods are insane, I dont have a pc, but I know of the amazing mods. Which that alone makes it num 1. But story coudve been way betetr, along with side missions. 2. Arkham orgins. I haven't played this game in years, but I do know the story, and its incredible, bane, the introduction of joker, bruce and alfreds relationship, etc, its all amazing. 3. Arkham city, the gamplay evolution from asylum was great, and the story is pretty good, But I dont think its as good as people praise it to be, and has a nice open world. 4. Most definitely Asylum, this game has aged so poorly in places, I still absolutely love this gane, its probably my most played arkham game behind knight, but it still has so much problems, but the story is great, and a nice atmosphere in both the og and remaster versions. 5. Shadows, I only put it here bc I havent played it, but the story is incredible, which that alone puts it above * cough SSKITJL cough * 6. SSKITJL, do I even need to explain ? 7. Orgins blackgate..........

In my opinion the list goes 1) Knight 2) City 3) Origins 4) Asylum. I haven't played the rest so they're not there. I like Knight the most because it has the most replayability, most content, better gameplay and i actually like the batmobilie so it's at the top of the list

For the games I played 5.Origins Blackgate 4. Origins 3. Knight 2. City 1. Asylum Even without nostalgia, Asylum is still my favorite. To me the most replayable when I feel like it should be the least. But all the games are great (other tahn Blackgate which still isn't bad) so I can't argue with it. 3 of them are in my top 5 favorite games

Spoiler warning for Arkham Shadow, hello? Also, worst thing about that game is that it's an exclusive for a specific VR console!

The fact that this guy genuinely believes that Arkham Knight is a worse game that Arkham Origins because Knight gives you better traversal abilities is mind boggling when one of the biggest complaints people have against Origins is how bad traversal is in that game. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if he never played Origins for this review and just wanted to rage bait some more.

5:12 he wasn't. Joker was the main antagonist as you spend most of the game against him. the Arkham series is about Batman vs Joker

But Zoned, you forgot to mention what Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League did worst: EVERYTHING!!!!!

Asylum: Best atmosphere with how claustrophobic, isolated, and eerie it feels (Origins is also great in atmosphere in how dark it feels). Its story also pretty much gives almost all its villains a good enough amount of screen time. City: Feels the most balanced out of the Arkham games such as the side missions not feeling too long. Also has the best ending to the story and probably is the sequel game that improves upon the previous game the best such as with the amount of abilities. Origins: Explores the characters the best such as Batman learning to work with others and the relationships Batman has with Joker, Alfred, and Gordon. Also has the best DLC in Cold Cold Heart, best looking cutscenes in the story, and takes place in the best time of the year: Christmas. Knight: Best combat with how fast and fluid it is. Also best graphics in the series hands down and best open world.

Asylum: The combat being slow and losing combos too quickly, the post game not having much to offer, and not having as many moves and abilities as the other games such as catching objects being thrown at Batman or being able to do takedowns from vents and grates. City: Way too many riddler trophies and way too many challenge maps if looking to platinum or get all achievements in the game. Also the atmosphere is probably the weakest in the series with how dark and eerie Asylum and Origins are and how big Gotham is in Knight plus the thugs in the open world say the same lines constantly. Origins: The progression system doesn’t offer as much freedom to players such as having to do the dark knight challenges in order, not as many predator sections will respawn enemies after the story, and can only unlock abilities through completing side missions rather than through earning enough experience points. Also the game is more prone to glitches compared to the other games (excluding Knight’s PC launch), the open world looks the same in a lot of places, and not as many new features introduced as the other games due to less development time. Knight: Story is the least interesting in the series for me. It doesn’t utilize Batman’s rogues gallery as well as the previous Arkham games since most of the villains are in side missions while the ones that are like Harley Quinn and Scarecrow don’t get to do much.

Playing through every one of these games on a purposeful hunt for the worst aspect of each one of them is something I will never understand

Arkham knight has the most complex story than any other game.

I understand stand why you might think the Rat King's reveal was underwhelming, but if you listen to Harvey's patient tape with Dr. Crane, you'd understand how mentally unstable Harvey was becoming. Also, technically, Harvey/Two-Face isn't the Rat King-it's his Shadow. Carl Jung's theory of the Shadow suggests that the Shadow is an element of our nature that exists in our unconscious, made up of our repressed desires, ideas, instincts, weaknesses, and shortcomings.(Super simplified) In the story of Arkham Shadow, we see two brothers face their Shadows (Bruce and Harvey). While Bruce is ultimately able to confront and live with his Shadow, Harvey loses to his and succumbs, ultimately becoming Two-Face. The reason Harvey works as the Rat King is that he felt the justice system was failing and tried to suppress those feelings. Jung’s theory also suggests that the more one suppresses their Shadow, the stronger it becomes. Harvey's Shadow grew so strong that it manifested itself as the Rat King. The ending wasn’t supposed to be a big plot twist that you couldn’t guess, nor was it meant to be a huge dramatic fight against the Rat King, because that’s not what Arkham Shadow's story is about. There were many subtle hints that Harvey was the Rat King. I could go into more depth, but I don’t want to bore you, lol. Great video, by the way!

I agree with your Shadow criticism, while I don't mind it being Harvey or showing that his split personality was active before his scarring (this has been done in a lot of other Two face versions) but having the reveal with no real explanation of how and why is not great. My feeling is that the Rat King is a corrupted take on Leslie's (his mother essentially) ideas helping the poor and downtrodden in Gotham, after his mind snaps the alternate self becames his father, cruel and brutal.

Arkham asylum: very clunky combat at time's, lack of things to fo after the main story, would have been nice to have batnan fight whatever inmates are still left, maby have us still save guards, and free up areas like medical from thugs, and of cource keep riddler trophies Arkham city: WAY to many riddler trophies, an absolute ridiculous amount, they barley did anything with strange, he shoudv been in the story more, have him really mess with batmans head, tyger shoudve also been bigger, we barley fought them, have us maby free up the map tuger guard bases on top of building maby, and the protocol 10 event be a bit longer and be more dangerous for the playedr, and also have bigger affects to the map, many collapsed buildings, deceasd thugs in the streets etc, and have catwoman, robin and nightwing have a bigger part in the story. Orgins; haven't played it in years, wish I could. Knight: the story has SO MUCH missed opportunity, they coudve had, crane, jason, hush, and slade, un the main story they all have a personal hate for batman, all working together, make jason less whiney sounding, maje him way more intimidating, have the milita FAR more dangerous, they should automatically counter all of batmans moves before he even enters the room, booby traped vantage points, more drones etc, improve the side mission quality, I enjoyed them, but coudve been better, less battank, it wasnt even in the game much, but some parts if forced it for no reason, like slade tank battle, hav robin, and nightwing have a WAY bigger part in the story, rocksteady COMPLETELY fumbled the batfam in these games, I have a lil more for each game, but these are the main big ones.

HOT TAKE: ARKHAM SHADOW has a better atmosphere for a prison than Asylum. They did Black Gate really well. While the map isn't as fun to navigate like Asylum. The VR aspect really helped to push the feelings that you are actually in Black Gate. Especially with each area made for a particular prison activity. Like Gym, infirmary, Max Security, Death Row etc.

Even if you don't like the Batmobile at least they went all in on the concept and it wasn't half assed. I love the Batmobile for driving around and chases, the tank battles are fine and they add verity, remove a couple of sections and remove half of the campaign for disarmament and it works ok

Great video👍 I agree with all of them but another thing I think they did best is the DLC Challenge Maps (well some of them), the main ones are easily the worst no dlc maps in the series, but DLC maps like Endless Knight and Iceberg Lounge (yes that was in City but I kinda prefer it in Knight) are just 🤌 The graphics look better than most games nowadays like God of War imo, it's up there with Red Dead Redemption II (but not better still)

I think the batmobile was fun. It even has its own challenges in battle as well as its own gadgets. Rewards smart play when you plan ahead. The game let's you hack the cobra tanks during the boss battles as well. And when you unlock all the cars abilities you can come up with ways to not get caught as you sneak: blowing up a building to cause a distraction, movement upgrade to properly dodge blasts. It ain't popular but I personally enjoyed it 🤷🏿‍♂️

The traversal was also amazing

Graphics, music, hand to hand combat, season of infamy, Batgirl dlc, mission wheel, character designs hand to hand stealth, hand to hand gadgets, purist mode of the batmobile. Everything else sucks and its a trash sequel and the worst Arkham game. And the voice acting and the Hand to hand enemy ai was amazing
