I disagree, I don't think that just because Kevin's no longer with us that we can't get more from batman in this franchise. Arkham Shadows has proven that and Rocksteady can do the same and could make another whole trilogy that ties the gap between Asylum and Shadows with Roger they don't need to do a sequel but if they do make a sequel to knight yes it'll be not the same without his voice but it needs to fit and make sense story wise an if it does then I don't mind as people do want suicide squad to be retconned with a true follow up to knight unless they say its not cannon then I'm fine with Kevin's Batman ending at Knight or do a Soft Reboot.
There’s no way they drop the Arkham brand. If this is true Batman Beyond sequel with terry McGinnis voiced by will friedle is their perfect middle ground.
I know this may be crazy but Id much rather WB Montreal continue the Arkham series than Rocksteady, there is still so much they could do with the story after Origins. I'd really like to see that voice cast return too-- give them their own trilogy
@@yahallobenjamin2354 Gotham Knights was much better than Suicide Squad imo and was a lot more competently made. They deserve a 2nd chance just as Rocksteady does. Both need to just stick to single player games and drop the Co-Op Live Service bs
@@SirCHRIIS they should move on. arkham shouldn't be the only good Batman adaptation in gaming, not to mention that the arkham games were deliberate about being a series of games depicting the relationship between batman and joker, and with each new game, the scale was expanded until Gotham City.
Just make a game set in a new universe start with bruce as batman make 2 or 3 games with bruce as he gets older make a batman beyond game with either damian or terry as batman
Its hilarious seeing how many people are mad at Arkham Shadow being a one-console exclusive. Where were all these people when the Spider-Man PS4 was kept exclusive for 4 years?? And Spider-Man 2 is still exlusive!?
I don't want a new batman game in general, but being realistic here, at least do a different member of the family. I would like another gotham knights, but solo games about nightwing, red hood, Batgirl (any one of them specifically Cass), Robin, Red Robin etc would be just fine.
I actually encourage Rocksteady to keep making Batman games, but Arkham needs to be put to rest. After Arkham Shadow, they should hang up the cowl and maybe go on to another superhero or their own stories. Kevin Conroy is straight up the best Batman voice actor/actor but he isn't why I don’t want them to continue. What would they do with the story?! I don’t want more "before Asylum and after Origins" crap, I just want Arkham to end. My favorite series, but I think it should be over. Again, I'd like Rocksteady making a Batman game, but not a Batman ARKHAM game.
The only path that really makes sense for them is a Beyond game, doesn't disrespect Conroy and its a fresh new story so it doesn't feel Batman is being milked. After Suicide Squad I doubt it could be an Arkham game, unless they just consider it not cannon.
@@SirCHRIIS Yeah, I'd like to see a Batman Beyond game. I think they'd do good with that. But I do think it is an Arkham game since WB only cares money even though they are allergic to it.
If it's a new batman Arkham game on consoles, I hope it's not a trash sequel to Arkham Knight because knight sucked and had a trash story and terrible ending
We all hate exclusivity but we also need to be realistic, Single player AAA games are very expensive and without live service BS they don't make that much money. The only reason we are getting Arkham Shadow is because Meta bankrolled it. Personally I don't care about another Rocksteady game that may or probably won't come up in 5-10 years we have a new Arkham game in October.
Who's been lying to you? Single players games make a lot of money, arguably they bring in their budget better on average than their multiplayer/live service competition.
@@channel45853 nobody has had to lie to me the market is clear for all to see, publishers are not chasing that live service money for no reason. Single player games can do well but they are unfortunately to be super profitable is the exception rather than the rule and in the modern age games are a massive investment, investors don't want to just make money they want to see growth. So we are clear I hate live service games but again we need to be realistic.
arkham knight was the true ending to the arkhamverse
This is exactly what everyone wants after the Massive Failure of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The Arkham games didn't start off as exclusives, unlike Spiderman.
