Which of these 3 stocks do you like best?
Non. I used the cash reserve to add more in VICI + AMZN. A dividend and a growth. thank you though for the insight.
I've got ABBV which is my 3rd largest position and MCD which ranks #9. After I catch STLA ex-dividend date, I might take some profit (+50%) and add to both ABBV and MCD. As always great content. Others have proved that anyone can have a RUclips channel, but one that puts out credible, consistent content is getting harder and harder to find, your channel fits the bill. Have a great week.
I love all three, but ABBV is the only one I consider a "dividend" stock. For me, as a retiree, a dividend needs to yield a minimum of 3.5% to be used for income. That being said, I see MCD and COP as growth stocks, that at some point will become dividend stocks, once my "cost basis yield" hits 3.5%.
@@jdgolf499 I'm a retiree as well and I have quiet a few stocks with yield less than 3.5%. You might be missing out on growth, diversification and safety by passing on stocks like WMT, DE, LOW, GD, QCOM, UNP, RTX, MRK, MCD, JPM, MDLZ, PG, SYY, LMT, ATO and PEP. All currently have sub 3% dividend yields and are in my portfolio. With 40 positios and owning the previously listed stocks my portfolio has an average 4.12% dividend yield. I'm 67 and still have 6 years before I have to RMD, that's when I'll choose with low dividend payers will be cannon fodder for my withdrawals. All the best.
What would be the best 5 etfs for a beginner
In no order: 1) VOO 2) QQQM 3) SCHG/VUG 4) VTI 5) SCHD/DGRO. Personally I put down 2.5m$ on few ETFs, still diversifying. it was this time last year I made my first million with a liquid 200k. handed it to a trader here in CA, I get weekly pay out which I put back on long term ETF's. Google will be a huge buy for me when the market bottoms.
Good picks, Smart strategy for beginners, Please share this Expert with me.
She is Katherine Elizabeth Humphreys look her up online
I've known Kath since my early days as an investor. She trades for me and advised me to diversify dividends to 50% FXAIX, 25% SCHD, and 25% QQQM, which has been great. I highly recommend her.
Good buys, 50% FXAIX, 25% SCHD, and 25% QQQM. this diversification is FIRE she definitely knows what she is doing.
“Due diligence” requires painstaking work, and most times there’re chances that one’s prediction might be wrong regardless of the man hours put into research.
Good point! The market has been crazy lately, a few surprises here and there..
with all the global happenings taking place I think it’s safe to say that a severe global recession is looming
Oh yeah! You can definitely say that, it does worry me a bit, but not as much as it would worry the average guy, my investment portfolio has survived a couple of recessions unscathed, been privileged to be guided under the stewardship of an extremely gifted portfolio manager by the name Nelson Maynard Fisher
Oh really ?! Tell me more!
Sure.. Nelson Maynard Fisher has a really unique gift of being able to looking far ahead down the road to spot future investment portholes and possible major mishaps, so he helps me make the safest investments and also helps me hedge all my investments against possible future downturns
Wow! I just looked him up on Google, looks like someone who has been in the game for long and knows exactly what he’s doing. Personally I’ve had some “not-so-good” experiences with portfolio managers in the past but this your guy strikes me as an upstanding guy.
I'm surprised you didn't mention VICI. It's been a great time to pick up some shares.
Thanks Mark for thebnice videa , i do have ABBV and loading , COP is on my watchlist ...
As a new investor, I’ve currently learned the importance of having cash available
I was always so quick to get it into the market😅
dropping knowledge, keep up the good work
Building wealth involves good habits and risks like putting money into solid investments like digital currencies, having a good financial manager is what people tend to shy away from, and it keeps hunting them in the near future after many losses, be disciplined and get certified advisor pray that anyone reading this will be successful!!!
What do you think about PSEC or MPW?
Thanks, Mark, for your excellent presentation on these three dividend stocks. While I haven't owned ABBV as long as you, it has been a long-term investment of mine for several years and has been very rewarding in both capital gains and dividend growth. Good stuff!
Thoughts on how BTI might be affected by the UK's upcoming ban on cigarettes?
Is the dip low enough now or wait for it to be lower?
I let Abbv go recently in the 170’s. It’s been a great stock for me, but was time for me to move on
Own 100 shares of ABBV, selling Puts on ABBV and COP to buy any dip.
McDonald's, I think the moat they have and recognition alone with their marketing and brand name is massive.
Good calls, but it would be nice to see more videos about higher-yielding dividend stocks for those who are actually looking for income from their investments now. Not every dividend investor is still primarily in the portfolio-accumulation phase. Of course a company’s financial health, capital-growth trend, and dividend-growth history are important, but I’d also like to focus on stocks that pay higher dividends to maximize income.
McDonald’s been berry, berry gut to me!
I usually look up your videos for updates! Our government has no idea how people are suffering these days. I feel for people with disabilities not getting the help they deserve.
Thank you mrs Lauren Hopkins, imagine investing $12,000 and received $305,500.
Crypto Bull run is making waves everywhere and I have no idea on how it works. What is the best step to get started please?
Wow, that's more than a mouthful of profits you're making. How do you achieve this feat consistently? You must be a genius in trading.
Have you not heard of Mrs. Lauren Hopkins?
She has this skill of making complex crypto concepts easy to understand and is truly commendable
You know her too? I'm also a proud beneficiary of her superb platform.
I prefer GILD over ABBV.
