Thanks for putting this together. You must have spent a lot of time and effort to make this video. I personally would prefer in depth analysis of the best among this list.
Coming soon!
The time and effort to put this together, thank you man!
You are welcome!
ADM is a major supplier for the company I work for. ADM is a garbage company. Their raw unbleached ground flour has an absurd amount of metal shavings in it. We have to run it through several high powered magnets and fine sieves several times just to make the flour usable. We don't have this problem with any other supplier
Will you do the same analysis for Dividend Aristocrat stocks?
At some point, yes!
Once I pay off all my personal debt I will re start investing in dividends again 📈
How can you make money with these stocks called Dividend kings when the stock price keeps going down year after year? What's the purpose of investing collecting dividends from the investments itself. Can you explain?
I wish more people would bring up this point when discussing dividend investing since I've had to explain this to yield chasing novices and value trap bagholders in the past because it's a valid question. To me, having dividend aristocrat/king status is a positive thing... BUT is secondary to earnings growth. WBA is a famous example of one of these, T as well. Yeah sure they had a long record of increasing and paying dividends but this didn't make up for loss of principal due to poor management, macro factors, etc.
Just dumping cash into a company because it has paid out dividends consistently for a long time isn't the stupidest investing decision but it's on the list. Earnings should be growing at a bare minimum enough to cover payouts, especially when the amount is growing yearly, and ideally it should grow at least at an average rate compared to other companies.
@@stephenwrightmusicThe dividend King name is misleading to people, sounds nice but lousy stocks. Like you said these stocks could not make enough to pay back the money they paid to the investors year after year. The only way I can see it makes sense is that if you wait for these stocks to get down to the bottom or crash to a certain reasonable price to bet that it will come back up then you can start buy in and DCA down at lower price to accumulate more units. I did this way 2 times for MPW and ADM, I made almost 80% for MPW and 40% for ADM after they crashed. But If I buy dividend king stocks on the way down and no crash then I am very sure I would lose money, better off buy SPY index and forget about it.
@@Tideo123 I agree - if I happen to own one, its king status is coincidental. I do quarterly reviews of the stocks I own to confirm my thesis still stands but around 75% of my invested capital is in ETFs.
Good analysis. I was waiting for your personal opinion which of them you would choose among those one.

Excellent job as always !
Keep up the good work guys! Thx !
Great jog on this video…you should do these videos more often…thanks
I liked it to make it 1k!!! Doing the hard work is always need to be acked.
Would you do a video review of a subscriber's portfolio?
I might do that in the future on my second channel! www.youtube.com/@tickerdata/videos
LOL! This just shows how ridiculous your obsession with dividend growth is. WHO CARES if the dividend grows each year for 50 years when, for example, Walmart is only currently paying 1.39%??! What good has 50 years of growth gotten you?? You aren’t even making half of inflation, so you’re actually losing a LOT of money each year. In fact, only 14 of these 53 companies are paying a yield higher than current inflation, and only 28 are paying more than the past 20 years average inflation (2.53%). So again… what is so great about dividend growth?? Can you please explain your thinking, because it seems completely insane to me. And btw, where on earth did you get the 10.53% yield for LEG?? Everywhere I look says it’s only paying 1.63%. And you say MMM is 6.63% but I see 2.67%.

I think you’ll learn quite a lot. Enjoy! :)
Half of them are not king, but little princes….. Less than 1 percent ???? Where is Verizon and AT&T ?
Look up the definition of a Dividend King.
You should think about adding AFFO payout ratio to the spreadsheet :)
Nice idea! :)
thank you, very nice!
when you have the time, please make one video for div Aristocrats, Challengers and my favorite one, Knights! ;)
Thanks for the idea! Coming soon!
McDonald's 300. 😢 Cool 😎 love me some Wendy's $19. I feel good 👍 know go up like McDonald's

Can you do a video on Sony? Interesting opportunity with a potential deal for paramount, don't think I would buy until $70 tho. Love your vids
JP bank 🏦 love but US bank 😮 get some good 👍 walk up the 100
What's the reason for this huge drop in leg? The dividend yield is really attractive
Thank you
All the profitable kings are give away PEANUTS.
Don’t underestimate that. 14 years ago I bought UNH for $40 sold it at $58 years later. Today considered a buy at $500+ with dividends. 😰
@DrNoSpectre I luckily got a few shares at 444 when it fell.. right now I believe it's hovering around 500
@@bushhasmywii7121 Hang on to it! Health insurance is not going anywhere lol
Yes, This is because paying high dividends means you do not have excess cash flow in order to reinvest, buy back shares, or pay off Debt.
Dividends are great! but the will slow growth of a stock
@@tylerjohnston5845 Or they just keep increasing the salaries-bonuses of their top management team and they just forcing you to eat the lie that they are not profitable enough to continuing paying you PEANUTS.
What app or website do you use to find the yield the return profits and like the past 10 years all the stuff like that
I was using the automated spreadsheets from Tickerdata.com !
Hello, thank you for your video, have you ever thought to analize snap on?
Possibly in the future!

I like this. I would like to see more videos on covered call ETF’s and especially REIT’s. I’ve been doing better with my REIT’s lately and maybe they are more risky but they generate good money it seems and I want more knowledge on them. Thanks.
Boss how can I check what you have on your dividends account and how much I want to copy from you And learn slowly from it
Thanks much for all that work.
Appreciate the content and your method of delivery!
I appreciate that!
Slow down you taking way to fast
The spreadsheet you give out every month is it suppose to help you find which dividends you should get every month?
It can do that!
@@Dividendology ok then I'm trying to get into investing but don't know where to start
We need a Black Rock analysis!
Go do it yourself.
$60.00 Year 😂 and more with one's over $100.00 cool 😎😊 little penny add up.
I don't get how you understand and analyze the utilities sector over there (at USA, I mean)
3M is bad because dividend is mostly frozen and inflation goes against us, but utilities can borrow more money than they make a year (EVERY YEAR) and pay dividends with that 🤣🤣🤣 but not even all utilities, just the energy sector. Verizon, on the other side, must produce enough cash at its business to invest at CAPEX and pay dividends
You totally assume utilities must work like that. I'll just keep my great international utility on my portfolio, 2nd in valuation 😋 hehehe
LEG just killed their dividend king status, .45 dividend to .05 dividend
Yep!
@@Dividendologywanna thank you for the knowledge though, adding 4 possible companies to my drip portfolio, I’m in my early 20’s and still in college but set aside 3.5 k already. Yearly dividends at $200 and by August I suspect I’ll be around $400
that is awesome!
great video, ty!
What are your thoughts on SPYI and QQQI in a dividend portfolio and safety long term on ETFs like that? I feel you may be trading growth for steady income but if the price on SPYI and QQQI remains relatively steady, I think they are better alternatives than higher yielding divided stocks that have had a steady declining share price.
Colo 😅 60 get $1.00 and 😢 look psp cash $150.00 . Me I add the 😊 pay help buy some more 😂 so what go up so in 30 years I'm good 👍😂
Thank you very much :)
You're welcome!
Any chance we can get a deep dive on LEG?
I'll add it to my list!
@@Dividendologythanks! Looking forward to it
Hello Stock Investor
I have a question about LP LLP companies. If u have a single share in these companies, u should recive k-1 form. I am just confused how to know which share has K-1 form and which one does not. I really dont want to deal with this kind of stuff especially when I am from Europe. I just want to know if I understand correctly. If the company ends with LP OR LLP its k-1 form like abc LP or abc LLP but if there is no LP or LLP behind the company then no k-1 same for real estate companies.
FYI - I'm having some problems with multiple EFTs and British stocks on your spreadsheet. Seems like a lot of EFTs and LSE listed stocks aren't included?
Send me an email at help@tickerdata.com and I'll help! :)
Thank you for your service
Love your channel. I request if I may:
I would LOVE to see a re-evaluation of MPW given all the recent good news, selling of properties, paying of debt into 2026 and announced regular dividend payment of 0.15/Q
no, that company is poo

Thoughts on PM?
Do you provide the excel sheet to people?
Yes! You can download the dividend breakdown sheet on Tickerdata.com ! You can download the list of dividend king stocks by joining my newsletter! Link in description to both.
Most of these don´t keep up with inflation.
Great video, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
No O?
A dividend king is a stock with 50+ years of dividend increases. $O doesn’t meet that criteria yet.
