The OP's parents should have been more supportive of their elder son instead of sending him away to his aunt and uncle and they're paying the price for their actions and they've themselves to blame for their actions and live with the consequences of those choices in the long run,at least his younger brother still love and respect him in the long run for sure and that's a good thing.
I feel like the father just lost himself and you should’ve tried to understand that. Sure he shouldn’t have taken it out on you but it’s a hard time and it could be depression. I think they tried to keep the family together but couldn’t anymore and just let everything out on you. They should go to therapy or smth
He "lost himself" for what sounds like 20 years? That is absurd. Also if his brother could afford and willing to take in an kid couldn't the father ask for help instead? It sounds like he cares more about his reputation then his family and the constant favouritism has 0 excuse.
@ just saying its his responseablty to get himself checked out saying that op should've tried to see it from his point of view is absurd I was just replieing to that point of your comment should have made that clear sorry
Depression for 20 or more decades? What kind of justification is it?😂😂 Bro even he is mentally retard thats no reason to treat one of your child like that. Yeah i got it they sent him away because they were incapable of raising their own child but how could you justify him belittling him everytime they met when op literally did nothing wrong? He was mad that op didn't become a failure like him? He wasn't a good father to op neither he was to the younger brother god knows how much pressure they must have put on him. There's no excuse of his behaviour and if its a illness he should be in a mental asylum he shouldn't roam around free hurting other people
Parents suck, sibling rocks, uncle and his wife are GOAT, and OP did great for themself.
Fax bro
Preach
It is actually good to see the "golden child" not be a jerk for once
It is nice isn't🎉🎉🎉

@ I literally said there’s no excuse so if you read that you’d know. Plus unresolved depression can grow into something worse.

@AkA553 "...20 or more decades?" What are they? Elves?
200+ years of depression might actually be impressive 😂
