What a great ending to a story. A family finally getting what's coming to them is very rare in these stories. Congratulations I hope the rest of your life is wonderful.😊

You reap what you sow, I had a falling out with my mother 14 years ago about how she treated my wife and have never spoken to her since. She always took my older brother’s side her third husband’s side on just about everything. And then the betrayal happened and now her husband is gone 7 years and she is all alone and now my brother doesn’t even talk to her.

It's best to leave family members one single dollar. Makes it that much harder for people to contest the will. (It's a deliberate act and can't be interpreted as an oversight.)

Forget a dollar just a penny would do.

I think that you can also just say that "John Smith gets none of my assets" or whatever. I think the main problem would be not being clear enough

In some areas and some states you have to give $5000 before a will can't be contested. It would be great if it was just $1 though.

Leaving something behind in the will for the family members, will prove that the Testator was sound of mind when he made his last will and testament, so that nobody else can contest the will, but this law is only here in the US. No other country, in the world, has this law or stipulation.
Also, these stories are AI generated, and they are based on Asian culture and legalities, mixed with American standards. Which is why these stories are so stupid to listen to, and which absolutely make no sense to us.
Had this happened here it he US, like kicking an underage child (meaning under 18 in most states) out of the house, without the child being emancipated, can often be considered child abandonment, which is a crime.

I have a will written that specifies who is even to be contacted i passed. The rest will be told 6 months later, and not told where I'm buried. They are to receive nothing from my estate if i have any. They have proven exactly who they are and they are entitled narcissist with zero empathy for anyone. Not worth my time. Or worth letting them destroy me again

The raw honesty shared in this story is incredibly moving, showcasing the profound challenges faced in the aftermath of grief and trauma. It's heartening to hear about taking steps toward healing and independence, especially finding that new place and starting a job. I hope to see more updates and insights on the journey ahead, as it’s a testament to resilience in the face of such hardship. Keep pushing forward; your strength is inspiring!

That’s unbelievably disrespectful, especially during such a difficult time like a funeral. Your things should have been respected, and your space should be yours. It sounds like your mom made a really hurtful decision without considering your feelings. I hope you’re able to talk to her about how this affected you and set some boundaries.

The first part states that the grandpa would tell OP about dad's childhood, implying that he's the grandpa on her dad's side, but later on the mom calls him 'dad'. So either this is some sweet home Alabama type shi or this is chatgpt.

Switched from being father’s dad to being mother’s? She slept in her father’s room, but mother claimed to be grandfather’s only child…

Come on AI, first Grandpa is Dad’s dad (OP Grandpa would tell OP about her Dad’s childhood and when OP moved there said they were in their dad’s childhood room) and later Mom’s dad?!? 🙄
Pick a side, because the way this story is now (Grandpa being dad to both parents) there’s WAY more OP might have to be dealing with 🤨

Not just that but these stories usually feature the same names like they cant come up with new ones? I have heard three or four stories and there is always someone with the name Emma, or the last name Michell or Anderson there are millions of other names switch it up to make it more believable.

Should have called cops when she removed their things from their lawful residence that never was hers and the illegal lock change to have them removed.
Just to sue and establish what they need for restraining order
