Why Men Suffer From Heartbreak & Breakups

  • In dealing with break ups, men need to understand the dynamics, and how men respond to the end of a relationship, and why.
Best question from the survey post was:
Dumped. Voice changed to a cold chill. A tone you’d expect to hear if you committed a horrible crime. Blocked me on media. Threw my number away. Days before she was gazing into my eyes telling me how much she loved me. I was deep in love. Didn’t see it coming. Super painful and won’t ever really get it. Lucky for her she had a guy already in the chute. Heard she met a guy weeks after dumping me then was immediately engaged. Poor guy. My eyes are wide open now. I’ll never be the same. In the end I dodged a horrible bullet and now very thankful of my fate.

I had a girl once tell me this..
"The reason she appears to be over you the day you broke up is because she broke up with you six months ago. She just didn’t tell you. She is already done with her tears, you are just starting yours."
If a girl does the breaking up then she is already done. Straight from the lips of one of them.

badlandskid I cought my ex-girlfriend sexting a coworker recently during our 3 year LTR. We lived together the majority of that time. She broke up, wanted to remain friends, turned vacant and cold regarding working it out, no apologies for cheating, and banged him a week after.
My older sister said the same thing. She checked out emotionally months before.
I would of died for her. I would of killed for her. It was a hard lesson. The red pill was painful to swallow, but I'm thankful for it. I'm thankful for men coming together to talk about these things that happen to us.

I have developed a couple points about breaking up. First thing I let them know is, I'm not a revolving door. They don't get to turnstile me. Second... I am not interested in being one of their man friends. I am not a spoil of war that she can parade around whenever it is convenient for her. NEVER let an ex do that to you, no matter how much she meant to you.
Hope that advice can help you.

      Thank you.
Though difficult when you're in love with a woman (or who you thought she was), that is exactly the right way to handle it.
When she was caught, she dropped the act. She was done. Tried for a week to talk and work things out. Big mistake. After the second week, I started to see who she really is. I made this girl the center of my world, which I now know was a huge mistake. I was an emotional mess. I got rid of 85% of my things, packed my car, and moved in with family hours away.
She said, I love you, you're my best friend, would do anything for you... yet not one apology without me asking for it. Anything, huh?

    • @badlandskid
      @badlandskid 6 лет назад +35

Yeah that is rough. But time reveals all. You got to see her true face.
Another moto I have to keep in the fore front of my mind is "Never worship a woman or what is between her legs". IE, don't be pussywhipped. It might be good darlin but it ain't that good. :-)

badlandskid kind of true, but the girl has no idea what life is like without you. A way to make them regret their decision is to not contact them at all, and improve yourself to the fullest. If you cry and beg she will push you away further. But if you don’t, and you drop your feelings for her and move on, it’s likely to drive her crazy. And in my opinion, bang her if you want to, but never take her back

While I'm not going around spreading the word like a Jehova's witness, I am certainly trying to raise awareness among my peers. Sadly, many of them are stuck deep inside the pits of blue pill conditioning and still believe all the cliche crap about relationships this gynocentric society has been telling us all our lives. So, they either recoil and try to rationalize their worldview or just brush it off. But I still hope something I tell them will stick. But in the end, whether in a hard of soft way, they will learn.

This is sooooo on point. I was dating a woman who one day told me, "I still have feelings for my ex-boyfriend." I later told her, "okay, well, I'm planning to date other women." She then continues with "I thought you were the kind of man who only dates one woman and I won't have sex with you if you are dating other women." Uh excuse me. You told me that there is the very real chance that you might get back with a man you committed yourself to before. I not only told her that I no longer want to date exclusively but I no longer want sex from her either. Wow. What a double-standard. Hypergamy is real and men do walk around brokenhearted because of failed and miscommunicated expectations. Also, I noticed that she began to pull away sexually and when I confronted her she tried to deny it. Sex is very necessary and if your lady is pulling away understand that it is for a reason. Communicate that you still want intimacy but if she continues to push you away, then move on. Corey Wayne states, "you want someone who is excited to have sex with you and to have you in her life." Leave the drama...

Tells me she met another guy, he's the one and they're going to get married - feels like the subject matter of every red pill video on youtube together at the same time. To hear that coming from someone who used to tell you they loved you - in a relationship where I tried my hardest to make it work. This was the happiest I've ever been in a relationship.
I'm not red pilled or however you say that but I did all I could this time. Honestly it never felt enough. There's always more to do and more and maybe I should have tried harder and then some. Been dumped before, relationships have not worked out in the past, but at 35 to lose someone who I thought was the one this way - just lost for words. The despair is so unbelievably overwhelming this time.

One thing that the red pill helped me with the most is when you say “ listen to what she says and not what she does”. I am one of those guys who never wanted to get into long term relationships ever since I first started dating and when I was young and in high school for example this never immediately clicked, but looking back on it now they were really wanting me because they couldn’t have me. We would go months before I would say I love you because when I say it I want to logically think it out and I mean it. I am 29 and have only told 2 women this in my life. They then start to beg for marriage, after a while I succumb. I always tell them that I will never get married and this makes them want you more, well when you give them what they want they no longer want it. When I tell someone I want to be together for life, I mean it. The girl does not mean it. Remember this men.

BPD increases the risks to any type of lasting relationship, and "enhances" that light-switch behavior. They love you...until they don't. And that "until they don't" can be nearly instantaneous. I got a very expensive birthday present from her in early September, and divorce papers in early November. That light switch went from "I love you" to "I hate you and am filing for divorce" in less than 45 days. No abuse nor weird stuff; just BPD on top of the stuff Rich's video discusses. This is such excellent stuff and every man...married or single...should watch this video.

I am so glad you posted this video. My LTR of almost a year ended it with me last week. I’ve been ‘red pill aware’ for almost 4 years but I am the solid definition of a purple pill male. When it comes to take action and be accountable, I fall back into my blue pill ways, even with a full brand new set of red pill lenses. It’s a perpetual cycle of life fuckery that I need to change. Like you said in this video, I always lose sight of myself as soon as comfort sets in in the LTR. You start to rely on the dopamine rush of her validation versus other more dependable sources, such as working towards your life purpose and hobbies that bring you pleasure. Its a trap that is so hard to avoid if your overall life lacks drive and purpose. I am hoping that I can finally learn from my mistakes this time around and take responsibility upon myself as the sole reason for this. We always seem to be at our best when we’re single and lose sight when complacency sets in. Hypergamy doesn’t care.

I’m outta there and showing her the door... by that time she has already monkey branched. Men get blindsided b/c first to go is their mind... at this time her friends know and she starts to look for your replacement, next to go is her heart and emotions, at this time if you’re lucky you might notice a change, last to go is her physical presence by removing you. They’ve already moved on or back on the carousel... don’t embarrass yourself. Accept what is and move on. Have respect for yourself and don’t be a simp. 🍻

Was told point blank by her at social gathering that she was thinking of leaving him.
I warned my friend but he did not listen. He did not get ahead of it.
Months later she told him divorce papers are coming and then called the police to have him thrown out.
So yes, there are individual women that plan out the divorce and if the guy is in love, he will ignore the warning signs.
GUYS WOMEN DO NOT LOVE YOU! They just want attention and resources. Women can respect men acting like men!
Getting wasted drunk is not manly and will have a woman lose all respect for you especially if done at home. Husbands choose to love their wife in spite of short run irritations and issues. Love and respect yourself first above all!

The only break up to ever really impact me was the divorce from my wife, and not so much because of her, it was really the kids that killed me. The break up of the family unit, if we had no kids I would have bounced back quickly, but having a life long connection through 2 kids, resenting her because not feeling like she didn't care enough to try for the kids ate at me. Now I realize it's just female nature, but at times it bothers me because I can tell it bothers my kids.

Custody is written that it's one week me, one week her, but it turns into 60% her 40% me. I pay no child support, no alimony, and just 50/50 on child related expense. I divorced really well, but we both have a good income.

      @jasonroche8982 6 лет назад +16

Nick - Nick, our scenarios are very similar. Divorced for a year next month after a 17-year marriage. I have three kids and the most difficult struggle I have had, was the guilt and grief I felt for the family unit breaking up. No infidelity or bad things happened to make one hate the other... we simply just grew apart and the relationship ran its course.
After some deep thought, reflection and recalibration... I made a concerted effort to save the marriage and family unit.. however, I felt that she didn't try hard enough to save the marriage and family and moved on with the long-term boyfriend she had before we got married 20+ years. ago.
I am now however more at peace with the divorce as my kids are much less adversely affected by it now. This past year, I have leaned so much about female & male nature & see the world (relationship & government) through the redpill lense. Although I'm sometimes sad we are no longer a complete happy family, but my focus, concentration & life mission has never been clearer.

    • @MAGAMAN734
      @MAGAMAN734 6 лет назад +6

Amen......my divorce was final October 25th, and I still feel like I would work on things if my ex wanted to not for my ex but for family. The only thing I would say is I don't really feel like we grew apart, I feel like she stopped trying, but I refused to be depressed about it. I was having a pity party for myself one day, went to the gym to lift heavy stuff. I saw this young kid mid 20's guessing and he was working out with MS, and I told myself I have no reason to feel bad. If this kid is bad ass enough to come to the gym and lift and he has MS, I have no excuse.

If you guys are wondering if what you have been hearing about women let me tell my story. Approximately 30 years ago my wife of 11 of years told me that she didn’t love me anymore and she wanted a divorce. At that game we had four children under the age of 6. I then found out she that she was cheating on me and her planes were to move him in eventually. I made sure that did not happen. This women was whiling to put her her wants ahead of her children’s well being. I worked hard and washing to school at night to improve our life’s. To make very long story short do not take the risk of getting married. I know people will say you will want children when you get older. I have four grown children and eleven grandchildren. I love them all but the way my life unfolded and my current situation I would not have done it. The main reason would be I am 63 years old and because my family was separated from me and even though have stayed very close to my children and I have a good relationship with all of them I find myself disjointed from them. Once the family unit is gone you are on your own. If I needed my children in an emergency they would be there but again because you are not with their mother you are screwed.

So much appreciation for this video Bro.
I have been stuck on my marriage break-up of a French woman who I was with for 2 years. It was ever since that one day in late May 2016 and without telling me she just packed up all her bags and flew back to France.
This vid was whole perspective change for me to the fallacy of my whole thinking about her and our relationship and how I was going to get her back etc.
I do know that from talking with my friends and in my previous relationships that after some time has gone by. Whether it be, days, months, years and or decades.
Women do reflect and have deep regrets about the shit they have done, and how some of the men in their lives have been winners and how they walked away from it all only to walk in to another relationship that was the polar opposite and the guy they are with is a douche.
The lesson for me now and like you say. Don't look back and move forward and upwards

I had once me ex contacted me after 2 years when she saw me i had moved in another country and had a better job.
I replied to her with : im sorry who are you ? I don't remember 😆😆
I think that moment she doubted herself too lol.
By the way she broke up with me because she was texting other guys. I like this comment section to see how men are awaking up. We are really dump when it comes to relationships. We have to face the truth. Yes there are still good woman out there but 1 in a milion. The majority is exactly like this. They don't give a crap about our feelings, they think we are just tool they can use.

That last part hit sooooooo hard for me.
    Married on an ultimatum...check
    Moved to where she wanted...check
Put child in certain private school...check
Runs around the house drunk with drunk mother yelling its over...check
Eyes wide TF open now my dude, on a mission to take care of what I wanted to before I met she who shall not be named.

I'm a month over it, dude don't do what I did. Two weeks later I dragged myself back into her (I really missed her), and now I'm on a situation where I don't really see she is changed for the better, and she is kinda rekindling now, but I'm not really feeling it now; she is just the same as before and didn't change at all (despite all what she said).

All that video is TRUTH. The comment you highlight in it, and so many here are the same. I too was blindsided, crushed for the first time in my life (and I'm no spring chicken). We are soooo hurt because we are in love, our intentions are likely as great as they've ever been, the gal can say she loves you the day before, and then, BAM, she's gone, has forgotten all about you and is likely with another one and had been for some time. It hurts so much as we are caught unaware as never did she act like that before with anyone while we were with her, and it just seems so cold, like we never mattered. The truth is we likely did matter to her a lot... at one time, but when they switch, they switch, it's done. Oh, like in your own life examples they might come back later if the replacement(s) are not as good as us, but otherwise they have turned it off. And it's not even ill malicious intent on their part nor a desire to hurt. It's their nature. Now that I know, I can't picture being that hurt again, as I'm so much more aware. These is an issue with our Red Pill Awareness though: we tend to expect the worst out of them, or not value their current "love" much, so it makes for a self-fulfilling prophecy of a quicker breakup or no relationship at all...

Yeah, but people in a happy relationship rarely look on RUclips at these type of videos. That fact might be confounding your poll.

6:50 "in the hunter gather day, a guy didn't come back from he hunt, so the other guys explained to his woman, that he ain't coming back, and so she has to choose another mate, and that's why contemporary women get over breakups faster than men".....makes sense

One of the 60% mentioned earlier in the video from the one woman I truly loved and which I did anything for.... don't do that, don't put her needs above ur goals! Thank you my brother for this video, wish I found it earlier so it could have helped me get through the emotional pain a little bit easier.

Holidays man... Most of my ltr have ended in the month of December/Jan...It has gotten easier to move on, but those first few weeks can really kick your ass. I find diving into work, gym, a new hobby really helps me get through those hard first weeks. A month later you will see clearly, and wonder why you were even heartbroken... Stay strong fellas!

    yep. Been through that.
    I had a 9 year long LTR-LDR combo..
I moved twice to be with her.
1st time changed cities, just to get dumped 6 months later (on my fucking birthday.. which I can no longer celebrate) .
Moved to UK, for 5.5 years - but I kept the contact going, really wanted to get back with her. Heavy one-itis case.
She decided she wants to get back.
I moved back to my country to be with her again. A long lived dream came true, as it seemed.
Year and a half passes - I got dumped again (4 days after Christmas, which we actually spent together with her family).
She had plans to dump me, that she's been implementing for a while.
She actually created a little "support community" that was installed to help her get through the break up (as she was attached to me as well.. ).
    Well..
After 9 months she found her husband-to-be.
For me.. 4 years passed and I'm battling heavy depression. The friend pool got divided, and I was left with pretty much no one by my side.
    They DO move on easily.

1 time at 31. NEVER AGAIN! This happened because I imposed my will and try to force a square piece into a round hole. I was never her first choice. I won her over by default. Nobody else at the time. I did everything right except for the fact that she never FELT attraction for me initially. It lasted 2 years and things seemed too good to be true until she met someone that he had animal lust for. Without warning, she broke up with me. Lost 30 lbs. Felt worse than a burning knife going through my stomach. I will never relinquish that much power to another person every again.

Women does not move fast. It is just that when she told you, she had already decided to break up 3 month ago or more to build up resentment and to wait for another opportunity to grab. She only told you when she got that opportunity. So just move on. Seriously.
