There is another option that lets you use the PTT switch without the CB. Turn the CB to the OFF position, then turn the VOX sensitivity level down to it's lowest setting. Now you can use the PTT switch to communicate between driver and passenger.

Muito bom. Aqui no Brazil, infelizmente, não se costuma usar o CB. Mas a cultura está mudando. Coloquei na minha Ultra 115 - 2018. Aqui elas não vem mais de fábrica com o CB. O vídeo de vocês ajudou muito. Obrigado. Abraço do Brazil!!
Good info as usual Guys. Good point about using CB rather than Intercom never thought of that. Could do with some info on how often Navi Extras update the Maps / POI's on the Sat Nav on Boom Box.

Great video. I know this is old but I was wondering if anyone had any help for me.
Is there ANY setting that allows the music to keep playing via the fairing speakers while you are talking? The cut out in and out drives me nuts. Thanks guys/gals
I have a lot of issues with my CB and intercom on my 15 touring model. One time it works perfect, next time one of us can't hear the other, next time it doesn't work at all. Wondering if I need to get the bike into HD dealer and have it looked at now. Have tried it CB/Intercom VOX and PTT, with volumes. Pretty frustrated actually. Great video btw, you guys do good work.
I have a 2010 Tri Glide Ultra classic With the CB and stock radio. Can't get the Freewire to work at all!!!
What about if I use the CB to talk to my passenger without the CB Antenna, can we still talk to each other?
The screen shown at 3:53 is not available on my 2022 triglide. Looks like Harley updated the interface. I can't get rider to passenger comms to work.

With the VOX you should tune it to the lighter speaking person. That way if your voice is stronger you would not have issues.

Does a 2020 Triglide have a CB option?
You can actually have the rear controls turned off and the passenger can still use volume and the PTT. They just can't change the source.

Question... Neither the CB or Intercom options/settings show on my 2014 UL. Uploaded with the latest software and it does have the 7-pin connections.
At this point, it does play the music through the wired headsets, for both mine and my passenger.
Can you talk to other trucks by using the cb or is it strictly for motorcycles?
I had cb added at dealership. All my sound is routed to headset. When we use vox or cb, we can hear ourselves on the headset which is normal but also through the bike’s speakers. Is there another setting I’m missing or did dealership mess up the installation?

Did you ever add a cb to your 14 street glide?
No. I have no use for the CB. I use a Sena 20S EVO.
