  • In this video we prep the boosted e46 for its new wheels. The e46 rear guards are strange and a lot of cutting is required to get the guard lip skinny enough to run big wheels. Hopefully this has given you confidence to try it on your car! The fronts weren't shown as I just got away with a light guard roll. Overall, super happy with how the wheels turned out and the stance of the car.

    Finally, a really good video covering the meaning behind "cutting rear fenders" is extremely in-depth, and I am looking forward to doing it to my wagon now. What is the tool setup that you used for your angle grinder and Dremmel?

      Thanks mate! I just used a cut off wheel on my grinder and dremel as well as a flappy disk on the grinder, worked a treat!

    Fix your oil leaks. I pull my motor to refresh all the oil gaskets and makes it so much easier and a fun learning experience

      The leaks aren’t that bad, will be fixed when I build the motor 😎

    Hi, what's your wheels specs and offset? Also, what brake rotors and size do you have front and rear?

    • @jpbuilds5
      @jpbuilds5  2 месяца назад +1

      Hey mate, they are 18x9 +35 front and 18x10 + 35 rear. Running 340mm f80 4 pot brembos front and stock e46 m3 rear brakes (327mm rotors)

      @jpbuilds5 sorry for the follow up. Did you do a wheel alignment on this? Toe, camber, etc? It could be another good video for this.

    Does it rub if you drive aggressive?

      Maybe only slight rubbing on the rear bar but I plan to fix that soon 😎

    Could've done 9J all around square it would've had less understeer, and less rubbing.

      Wouldn’t have been able to fit a 265 on a 9J, need all the width I can get 😎
