    Any suggestions on preventing rust in the future? Other than not driving it in the rain😂 Undercoat before rolling?

    • @DriveItRyan
      @DriveItRyan  2 года назад +1

      Are you talking about on the inside of the lip? I bet a little POR or some type of undercoating would be a good idea for just a little added protection and peace of mind. Rust is the absolute devil

  • @does_not_matter_91

    I did mine too fast. Got some cracks on the front, and bent edge. I had to give the car to body shop, and they cut the lip in many places, made it flat and welded, than filled and protected so the water wouldn't stay there. But i didn't keep the heat that much, and that's probably where i screwed the job :D

    • @DriveItRyan
      @DriveItRyan  2 года назад

      Yeah a lot of people cut a little slit first, but I try to avoid it if possible. Keeping an eye on the heat and going little by little is definitely the key, but by the 4th fender, it does get very tedious lol. Sry about your experience! Sounds like it’s all good now though at least!

    • @DriveItRyan

      I’m not entirely sure. It should work as long as you find a way to secure it to the hub.

    • @travisstamp7428
      @travisstamp7428 Год назад

      Just take off the adapters for the wire wheels and use the studs that the adapters bolt to.
