I’d love to see some Yellowtec content. I’m seriously considering upgrading my Rode boom arm and I have a Neumann BCM 104 mic. I have a long and wide standing desk, so both the new desktop stand as well as their long boom arm intrigue me.

I walked by Yellowtec today and also popped into RODE.
Yes to Yellowtec, and loving the RODE stuff. Out of curiosity, has RODE mentioned at all when RODE Capture may be available for Android?
I asked actually.
They just said it's coming...but they also shared some of the issues with it.
Apparently it's a massive pain to get all the brands to have similar tolerances.
I want a review of the dpa 2017 for sure, but looking at the price was a mistake 😶😂

I wish Saramonic would have updated that BlinkMe B2 firmware. So many firmware issues I found with the B2 version. Use mic 2 and have mic 1 off the receiver after a period of time turns off unless Mic 1 is on. There is a light but notable ticking sound in the internal recording and the mic without internal recording has rather high self noise but once denoise is pressed; silence but at the cost of audio resolution. My last issue is sometimes the mics would just stay hot like they were charging when it was left charging for half the day already. If it wasn't for the firmware issues, these would be one of my faves to use for the "cool factor".

@ObscureMics I didn't really do too much with it other than strap it on and go.
That's why I am reserving my opinion really.
Also...it was a demo model...so who knows what it's been through.

Yellowtech may not be "hard core" but pricey for many users. :). Rode really is setting the scene for being the "go to" source for influencers. Smart. Saramonic audio quality will be interesting to hear given Shure's latest "arm and a leg" pricing.
