Just bought a new laptop from a store , it was an open box one, it had the stores Ads and Layout Demo. Been wanting to know how to do a whole wipe out because for some reason i couldn't find a way to remove their stuff from my intro screen. And every time it tied out it went back to it's in-store "explore this pc " demo screen. Hopefully this video is the answer to finally get this PC up and running how i like it. Just bought it a day ago so. We will see.

So this is to completely remove and wipe everything right? Like wipe it out so that when you turn it back on you have to create an account as if it were brand new, like create an account, password, etc.?

If I follow this after the reset will the Acer laptop applications that came with the laptop will still be there?, like the RGB app for the keyboard, AMD software, NVIDIA Geforrce software and Planet9 Snub software.

I did all that step by step, I got to the point where it says Reset this PC/ Fully clean the drive. It then took few minutes starting as 1% until it got up to 100% and an automatic message appeared on the screen saying: Installing Windows, computer will start stop several times. It did start and stop several times but it went until 64% only and then got stuck at this point for hours and hours going no more than 64% so I finally switched it off.
My question is, bearing above in mind , was my reset fully completed and all the data on the drive cleared? I had to give my laptop back to my previous employer so I just want to make sure now that everything was wiped off and nobody will see or use my files. Please advise.
