- Mario is back, and once again, he is trying to destroy that damn castle! Will he finally succeed?
The Castle Calamity collab is inspired by Jeremy Simms (bigfoot3290). Gmodders, with any skill level, participated in the collab.
I would like to give a special thanks to those who participated in the collab! You guys are the best out there. ;)
To those whose collab entries aren't shown in the video, here are the reasons why I did not accept:
1. Your collab entry did not meet the requirements.
2. You did not turn in your entry in time.
3. Technically, your entry is not too funny. (i.e. Much like it was just a cheap slideshow that makes no sense.)
I might have left out certain participants by accident. Considering that it has over 100 entries, it is tricky, yet hard to check who participated. I mean, you have a LOT of files. Oh well, I will try to make it up by doing the "Castle Calamity: The Lost Attempts".
Also, I want to give a special thanks to Doug Walker. He is the one who did the narrator for the intro. For those who aren't familiar with him, you may have know him as the Nostalgia Critic, Chester A. Bum, and especially Douchey McNitpick. This is a decent length and really really good. I love all the hard effort put (and how hard Mario fails too).
I just now noticed that Doug Walker was the narrator. For the longest time I was like, "I know that voice..." but I couldn't pinpoint it until now.

My childhood. I’m 17 now and I saw it all the way back when it came out. So much has changed. My sister is married, I’m a senior in high school, I graduate this year, and I turn 18 in 7 months. I never thought I’d get this far.
Edit: well, Here’s an update no one asked for lol.
I graduated, I’m 18 now, I got my first tattoo, I got my drivers permit, and unfortunately my sister’s husband took his own life. Life is full of ups and downs. So cherish the time you have with those you love.

Here's a fun fact about this video:
Long time ago at 9:10 you could actually click on a pop-up on the fallen pipe before Luigi enters the pipe. You would be sent to a private video with more 3 failed attempts of Mario trying to destroy the castle.
However since pop-ups were removed from YT you can't actually acess the private video anymore as far as i know.
