It was this piece of music that turned me on to Bach. I was a teenager. It was played by The Nice, a band that morphed into Emerson Lake and Palmer. Ever grateful!
There is something very Baroque or Renaissance sounding when a good bouzouki in the hands of a good player does Bach, Mozart, and other music of that age. Much more appropriate sounding and more spirit than a guitar or lute. I'd love to see the Tab on it and his tuning.
Just wonderful. I'm a huge fan of Bach and music from the Baroque period. The Brandenberg Concertos are a big favorite, and I loved hearing this on an Irish Bouzouki.
I have ordered a Bouzouki, excitedly await delivery not sure which tuning Im going to thrive in, as there are various genres I'm enjoying which use different tunings is it possible to learn from tablature this wonderful arrangement?
Wonderful, my favorite folk string instrument playing my favorite piece by everyone's favorite composer. Incredibly well played, you make it sound unpompous and natural, like the exuberant 18thC. rock-and-roll it was and is yet. One question: fifths of GDAD? And thank you (and love the triplets in the pre-cadential).
This is wonderful - thank you. I've listened to it about 50 times this week!!! Do you have any sheet music/bouzouki tab for this? And if yes, is it available?
Very interesting to play Bach on a bouzouki! But.....too fast! And I guess it is in 440hz? Would be brilliant in 432hz, and less fast! Your tempo, brilliant, but it does not smooth my soul......
When Bach was alive, Concert A was anywhere between 400 and 460. A tuning fork owned by Handel was tuned to A=422.5. One owned by Beethoven was A=455.4. Still another was tuned to 409.

Tom Muckian thank you
Perhaps the same for me. I really liked when The Nice played it. Not sure if I heard the orchestral version or theirs first though.

At last I found somebody who play classical on the bouzouki........SUPER GOOD !!!!

search for Lakis Laftsis, a Greek bouzouki player who plays baroque music. You will enjoy his job.
Lively performance. Sounds like two instruments, even though you are using a plectrum. You have a strong pinky finger. Well done!

I absolutely love this! Is there somewhere I can purchase and download it?
Yes. It's available in all music apps
This is fantastic! May I ask what brand and model is the bouzouki you are playing?
Andy Tobin made it, from England.
Fernando Barroso Excellent! Thank you Fernando!

Hi, fabulous! What scale length is your bouzouki? It looks a bit shorter than a normal Tobin! (Maybe because of the large body?)
Yes. Just normal scale. Thanks!
sounds like an orchestra
H, Fernando. Sent you a message on FaceBook messenger.
