Very good job. I would like to ask in the beginning of the video what is it the one that looks like nexus player gui on the tv? Do you have nexus player?
"Turn OFF TV Volume" has to be the most unintuitive voice command for volume down in the world.
+Kevan Mann, I agree. Let me know if you have something better. Ideally, I should be able to set the volume to a certain level similar to how I dimmed the dinner room light. Not sure if that will be possible via the Harmony Hub though. Should be possible using the Sony TV API or serial connection.

Minor thought, I think all of this would looks amazing if it was clean and mostly wireless (I just mean hiding the wires and I know it's a new setup, I heard you :) ), very nice setup man.
Must have taken a while to set it all up but looks like a fun project if you're into this sort of stuff. Also glad it actually looks useful. I'm the type that for some reason always ends up searching for the darn remote!..

How did you setup the iPhone stuff and the tv? How did you setup the PC to be turned on?
Can you set timers or macros? Idea is to help me wake up in the morning... want the lights (lutron caseta dimmers) to turn on at 4:30am and turn he onkyo network receiver on.... is that possible?

I don't think Alexa likes accents too much. However, she does have a learning feature that helps her understand you better.

Hi there, how did you hook the tv with Alexa? I have Harmony hub and remote
+Juan Carlos Gonzalez - It is done via the Raspberry Pi running some open source software. Alexa talks to the Amazon Echo Bridge software running on the Pi, which then talks to OpenHab also running on the Pi, which then talks to the Harmony Hub to control the TV. I really need to make a diagram.

My PC runs all my 4k Tv also my 4k reciever RX-V 2079 by yamaha via 1 hdmi cable thats all .
