Camel Bak dirt series insulated bottles are my favorite, its also the only bottle that fits well in my side cages on my gravel bike

Ahh. I do like those too. I used the regular podium for a while and it never let me down. Maybe I’ll make a seconds episode about how these bottles with on the bike.
      Thanks!

I got insulated water bottles, but from trek the 20 oz actually only holds 17oz, is that true for other brand insulated bottles wear the amount is less than insulated?

@@BK_BTis the cap really hard to clean on the podiums ? I like the design and colors of them, but seems polar is easier to clean

@@JitinMisra my refrigerator has a fill option where I can tell it to dispense 24oz of water into my blender bottle (one in the video). If I do that it will fill just below the top of the bottles opening. I always do less (20oz) because I put a sodium additive in my drinks, doing that makes it easier to shake up the mixture.
I can check the other bottles and report back.

@@JitinMisra I wouldn’t say it’s hard. Just annoying. Camelbak a multi-piece design that is more complicated than the rest. The Polar is designed with simplicity and has the same functionality.

What’s the advantage of using a bottle over a hydro pack?

@@wokjock not much besides having the pack on your person vs a bottle on the bike. Sometimes I just prefer a bottle in some scenarios. If I have water left I’ll take it with me in my car on the drive home ect. Both are great though.

Do you have any experience with stainless steel bottles? I've been looking at Bivo in particular. Plastic always seems to have that problem of smells and tastes sticking around a little longer than they should, especially when I put some sort of electrolyte mix in there.
