I was a clone working at the engines when I was on my coffee break the dreadnought rammed into the engines I was just out of the range of the midair crash and survived the ground crash. Respect to engine working clones

I love how the republic ship was just shooting at the ship in general and then the separatist ship was focused on the important parts like the bridge and hyperdrive.
I want to see a battle like this, but with at least 5 ships on each side! Too bad the game can't handle that.
look for a game called "from the depths." a lot like space engineers except it also includes naval and air combat, and it's specifically built for large battles.
FTD isn't all that great at handling a large number of large ships either.

One thing I suggest for a good star wars mod would be for them to limit the rate of fire of turbolasers to a whole second and a half rather than a constant. Just so it would increase the sim speed and improve overall performance while increasing immersion

That ramming scene was GORGEOUS! The sun framed dramatically behind two giant ships slamming into eachother - hulls spitting in half, with fragments and chunks raining down from the collision. I don't think you could have made that more beautiful if you were trying to :)

Next Creation on my Space Engineers solo server is the Sovereign class dreadnought from the Last Jedi AKA Snoke's Dreadnought
Yeah good look man, it's 60KM in width.
I haven't watched Episode 8 yet, but I'm pretty sure Snoke's ship is the Supremacy-class Mega Star Destroyer, and the Sovereign is just a smaller version of the Eclipse from the Dark Empire comic series.

I think the reason why i love this class ship is that its a multi purpose capital ship and has a mon calamari cruisers design which seems like the Rebel Allianc could have used in the cannon story. By the way, are there any lore of rebels using this particular class that I could look up?

Brandon Chapman yes before yavin the rebels through a fleet of droid capital ships at the death star they did lots of damage with the kind in the video here and a couple of the circular command ships i think ekharts ladder or another star wars lore page has it
4:29 I wish we had that sort of damage in the films or in Battlefront 2 so we could infiltrate the ship from areas like that.

Piloting error. He should have focused on the rear, and broadsides. Coming in low and circling around the back would've been smarter.

I will say i again:
This is a cruiser variant the dreadnought was twice the size of a venator
larger than twice the size as a star wars dreadnouhgt has to be 7km long. but still true
I think something that would be cool is a three stage battle, starting in the atmosphere the two ships fight like this, one ship goes down and begins stage two. Stage two is the still flying ship attacks the grounded ship after the ground team prepares emergency repairs and builds some defenses. Stage 3 is the players during it out with ground vehicles and any fighters that may have survived. This would be an interesting battle because with resources for the next engagement being damaged in the previous battles, it gives a certain defensive design encouragement.

Awesome idea, here some tactical advise though: The Venator, as most republic and imperial ships, is at its strongest when it has the enemy right in front of it, so all of the main batteries can fire at once. Do that and the sepratist cruiser should be down in no time
