Actually, the Empire still used Venators for a while before they went with their main Star Destroyers.

Actually in legends, the Venator was in service during the Civil War. It was an outer rim star destroyer/carrier patrol ship.

They're both Captains so it's equal unless they're on a ship (in which case it goes to the captain of the ship).

I wonder if the mod will ever be reworked to block gatling rounds or if the ideal system will be to use both shield mods from here on out.
Very cool, I'd love to see a Halo or Star Trek themed orbital bombardment next. Something where you get to use Mac cannons or those new Spinal Lasers (really put those shields to the test).

Finally, I never thought you two would ever find each other, I knew about Captain Shack first, and I laughed when I saw that there was a Captain Jack who did the same things Shack does, and I begged for a video with you two together. I'm glad I ran across this video now.

It's all right. There were Venator class star destroyers during the Galactic Civil War era. They were just far and few between - mostly patrolling the outer rim.

if that star destroyer couldn't pierce/destroy the shield i was expecting u to return with a ship using all the spinal weapons just 4 shear overkill in destroying it.

Fun fact: the empire still used Venators durring the transition from empire to republic, and durring the early galactic civil war, while still seeing extensive use in wild space and the unknown regions.
Another fun fact: Imperial orbital bombardment is called a "base delta zero."

How about a proper Sci-fi at war type of match? Get as many ships from as many series together as you can and have one massive FFA? I know there are ships from Trek, Wars, and Gate on the Workshop; so why not? Could even be all fighters with X-wings vs Starfuries vs Colonial Vipers vs 304's etc.
True, but judging by Jack's previous massive/epic battle vids and Shack's own fighter combat vids, enough people do for a fighter match.

actually, all the venator-class destroyers were still used when the empire took over, and they used them mostly for ship storage and support until the imperial ship carriers were made

It is, at the ending of the republic and the start of the empire, the venator was then re-purposed and painted for the empire, along with the V-Wing fighters.

In Legends, Echo Base's generator was powered by reactors that were stolen from a derelict Praetor-class battlecruiser, so three hoorays for Imperial engineering!

I think Thrawn’s bombardment (song) would fit there with the bombardment (and editing to remove voices and speed it up to eliminate frame drop)

2:32 Kuat Drive Yards didn't make the imperial TIEs. Kuat made the AT-AT's,imperial star destroyers, and various other vehicles. The TIE starfighters were manufactured by Sienar Fleet Systems.
Considering that the sheild was designed to cover a larger area, and protect the area from multiple Star Destroyers, yeah this probably needs some improvements
