+Kuha Cola Judging on the looks of the enterprise it's the JJ Abrams one which shown in ST beyond could seperate their saucers and I saw art of one in the ships if the line book which was based off of original ST.
Kuha Cola technically other ships could with explosive bolts, but it would require a star base to repair. Whereas the galaxy class could do it alone
The Enterprise-E was actually capable of Saucer Separation. It was never utilized though.

The problem with any battle involving an ISD is that - in a head-on confrontation - the opposing vessel's AI always seem to target the very tip of the ISD's bow, when the bridge is the more obvious tactical target.
AI is not as logical as Spock or as tactical as Thrawn.
Somehow that was one of the most elegant scenes of destruction I have seen in Space Engineers to date. That Swiss-cheeseified saucer section... It also clearly demonstrates how Star Trek ships are one massive structural weakness after another (even though not many sci-fi ships do much better in this regard, see Star Destroyers and their vulnerable bridge).
Firstly, that Enterprise looks fantastic! All that aside, let's give this battle to Photon Torpedos. Lol!

And that's about right. If this were real the Enterprise-D (and that's the one I'd personally go with) would actually target the Star Destroyer's shield generators and take them out in seconds and then it would basically be over.

I thought that the final round was a bit more accurate. Enterprise has hellish photon torpedoes.
Yeah Starfleet is overpowered. Photon torpedoes and phasers would eat SDs. SDs don't even have real shields, they have deflectors. The deflectors on the Enterprise are from the navigational dish and are fodder to the full shields they have on top of that. Though I admit that an SD could beat an NX, and the Enterprise refit might lose to a fleet of SDs with Tie Bomber squadrons. 1 on 1, if we're talking TNG or after, it's a wash.

That's because a) its a mod
b) is designed for being balanced with vanilla weapons, not lasers that go through armor as if it was wet paper.
It's a shame the phaser mod is no longer on the workshop. No idea why the author took it down.

Apparently that Star Destroyer had a shortage of crew members so they let the Stormtroopers take the turrets!
I know this ship isn't well known ( as well as the series)
But the ship Destiny from stargate universe vs the star destroyer (the destiny ship has insane shields and fire power)
As A Star Wars fan I will always say that the SD would win in a fight, but to be fair they are two very different ships that have completely different purposes, and each is better than the other at what it is made for.
perhaps 3 Venators or 3 Munificent frigates against one Star Destroyer, no modifications. wonder how it would work out, seeing how much firepower a Star Destroyer can carry
Star Destroyer won this one.... although if the Enterprise had used all the weapons available both in film and Space Engineers the Star Destroyer would get destroyed. As we saw in round 3... I think that not using all the weapons available made the fight unfair because the Enterprise is a much more sleek ship and as such is thinner and not as dense, once the shield's go down she's like paper. By design this fight was unfair in my opinion... but oh well great video, Enterprise won this one for me personally but technically Star Destroyer won if we count the weapon limitation on the Enterprise.

War planes Gameplay remember the Star Destroyers were used to destroy the surfaces of planets
NX classes don't quite have that armament, but Constitution classes had the same capability (granted Starfleet didn't use their ships to wreck worlds as a rule)

If you have a canon source that indicates that a Star Destroyer is capable of destroying a planet's surface, please provide it. So far the only bombardment I've seen was in Rebels and the turbolasers were hitting the ground with the force of a 40mm cannons.

No. They are both fictional and in separate universes with different physics rules so there really is no way to “accurately” test anything. Anyone that says “This can beat that” is foolish.
@@DJSpike-ft9yw Your logic is not sound. Just because there's different physics rules doesn't negate the fact that we can statistically calculate who'd win. The technology on a starship in star trek is orders of magnitude more advanced than star wars including extremely superior sensory, superior agility, superior warp capabilities, and superior range. Startrek has nanomachines and starwars fails to make a proper AI robot.

Actually every _Enterprise_ is capable of saucer separation. It's actually one of the major reasons that there is a saucer section (Roddenberry was a massive fan of _Forbidden Planet_ and initially wanted the saucer to regularly land on planets). If you want to see a TOS _Constitution_ class starship saucer separate then I recommend the fan film _Of Gods and Men_ or the two part finale of the fan series _Star Trek Continues_ "To Boldy Go".
On a related note, there were cut saucer separation scenes in both _The Motion Picture_ and _Search For Spock_

The NX-01 Enterprise couldn't Separate it's saucer section because it didn't have a secondary hull.
Actually Doug Drexler indicated that she can saucer separate, but it'd only be used if they needed to detach the nacelles and pontoons.
When I saw the thumbnail of the video I already knew the Star Destroyer would win. Please nerf it, its too OP.

The Enterprise is rather large in scale compared to the Star Destroyer. I take it you were using the Kelvin Timeline/Abramsverse Enterprise's specs?

Now this is from a Space Engineers perspective! In Star Wars canon, the Star Destroyer is also equipped with heavy artillery, including long-range cannons and air-strike capabilities! If the Space Engineers Star Destroyer were to be equipped with such weaponry, then it would be totally in the Destroyer's favor! As it is, this ended with a tie, and would've ended with an Enterprise victory had Jack not been shy of abusing the use of the torpedos!

Jack, you should pilot the USS Defiant against the Star Destroyer. It's like a bigass fighter with guns that fire concentrated badass.
Star Destroyer wins at short to medium range. Enterprise wins at long range because of the warp capable torpedoes.

When in doubt, Saucer Separate!!!
this inspires me so much
next time you build a warship, try mounting weapons on guntowers (think of the tower on the back of the droid cruiser, but with each side[left and right, not fore and aft] having turrets mounted along it's length) not only would this increase the number of weapons able to fire on a target, as well as greatly increasing the firing arc, ex. allowing top mounted weapons to fire below the ship (depending on it's length) but you could use the added space to mount extra thrusters, reactors, etc, increasing power, speed, and maneuverability, without having to increase the size of the whole ship. this should work on any ship (if you don't care about looks, or want to experiment) but would work best on a x- or star- shaped ship (viewed from the front). for another visual, imagine a x-wing with turrets on the top and bottom of each wing. p.s. please do a fighter battle with the starfury from Babylon 5. not only do they look awesome, but they are actually one of the most realistic space fighters in sci fi. Spacedock did a video on them if you want to know more.

OK. this one was won, surprisingly, by the enterprise. Ididn't thought the isd could loose. well, the first match was won by the isd, the second was a tie, but the third demonstrated the power of the enterprise.
What torpedomod were you using?
After he skewed it towards the Enterprise by removing weapons from the ISD and boosting the Enterprises shield's by 2. So not a very good match. Would prefer to have a win with them unmodified cause I'm pretty sure the Enterprise could win through clever flying which is a better win than nerfing one side and boosting the other to make them fit on the same field.
Plus he's not done that with other matchups. The Venator and the Providence match up is a good example where the providence's shields clearly aren't on the same level as the Ven's.
Actually it was about on par for an ISD 2, which rather idiotically traded point defense for even more heavy lasers and turbo lasers. Shreds capital ships, sucks against any faction that's known for fielding strong single fighter craft.
So you counted each laser on the creation and compared it to the movies? Also what do you mean the Avenger?

In that case I'll concede that point. Still probably shouldn't have ramped up the Enterprise's shields that much.
The part where the Enterprise loses the nacelles and separates the saucer reminds me of Star Trek Beyond, only thing missing is some Beastie Boys!

Sovereign class would seem to be a better match to an ISD than a JJ-verse Constitution or whatever the -A is
The Constitutions were more research vessels that could defend themselves even in the new movies; the Sovereigns were designed to go toe to toe with the Borg

I know that this game is not an accurate representation of either universes ships, and it is mostly a cool experiment with 2 different creations to see an outcome. Which was cool and kinda fun to watch
but this comment is just for those who are actually debating the outcome of this battle if the actual ships went at it. So if you don't wanna see a long nerd rant, just ignore the rest.

Speed 975 mph
Maneuverability: Bulk sitting duck
Weapons: Turbo Lasers systems, and Ion cannons
Inaccurate targeting systems
Star Destroyers are easily incapacitated if their bridge is nonoperational, as seen in Rogue One or even Revenge of the Sith when an A Wing hits the bridge
Resurgence Class Star destroyer (2 times bigger and Much more weaponry than an Imperial Class) was held off by 2 people in a TIE Fighter. A type of TIE fighter which I would like to add we see ripped like paper by only 2-3 shots from an X Wing later on.
Enterprise:
Max Impulse: 1/5 the speed of LIGHT
Maneuverability: even at max impulse can still turn 180 like it's nothing
Weapons: Phasers (A stronger concentration of Lasers) and Photon Torpedoes
Weapon systems are literally so accurate, it could eliminate a mass of torpedoes surrounding a ship that could turn into black hole if destroyed, without even scraping by that ship
I don't care if the Enterprise is an exploratory vessel, all Star Fleet ships are able to double as military ships due to conflict in the Galaxy. All it would take the Enterprise to take down a Star Destroyer is a few Strafing runs. It's too fast to be hit and all their shots would hit their mark because of the accuracy of Star Fleet weapons. The only thing a Star Destroyer has over a Star Fleet ship is that it has thicker armor, even the Enterprises shields are stronger (Well not in the new movies though)
