Star destroyer vs 3 venators
Star Destroyer would be able to take out 2 at best, unless it's shielding would be boosted(in which case it would actually have proper shielding according to canon). But it would be amazing nonetheless.

Frank Teryngel but a venator has about 500 star fighters so that might be a problem for the imperial star destroyer
Not much of a problem considering that SE can't run a battle with 500 starfighters.
The imp 2 Is frontline fighter armed to the teeth the venator is very much a Starfighter carrier as it could carry about 400 starfighters and 50 gunships so a match up like this is putting the Star destroyer in the best possible circumstances for it also the imp 2 cost 151 million credits the venator on the other hand only costs 59million I know this is done for fun and it would be hard getting the amount of starfighters needed but I'm just giving you the factual information

An additional aspect that might make these battles more exciting (but not in this case) would be to have a engineer on each vessel attempting to make repairs and triage the damage to the vessel

From a lord point of view the Venator will almost always lose to the Star Destroyer unless it had a brilliant captain. The Venator was multi role ship of a carrier, troops and supplies transport, and destroyer. While the Star Destroyer was designed for pure ship to ship combat. But they were both designed their ways for their respective wars that they participated in. The Republic needed a Cruiser like the Venator to quickly make assaults. And the Galactic Empire needed the Star Destroyers to maintain order and deal with small uprisings. Over all this shows what would likely happen if the two ever fought a battle. This though was really cool and thank you captain Jack and your friends for making these videos as a fan of SE and Star Wars I absolutely crave this stuff.

Actually Venators did use spinning against geonosians in the clone wars. Can't remember the episode, just being pleased that they actually tried a space tactic for once.
Imperial II vs. Resurgente?
Husarz Resurgent combines the Venator and ISD
Stakuga The Undying thought it is a battle cruiser not a star destroyer
Saeid Radder It is but it also combines the older designs
The Imperial II is a 1600 meter long ship with 60 turbolaser batteries & 60 heavy ion cannon emplacements.
The Resurgent is a 2915 meter long ship with 1500+ turbolasers & ion cannons(batteries often have multiple turbolasers on them, the 1500 are just single).
On top of that the Resurgent is more advanced in every way. A Imperial II is outsized, outgunned & outshielded. The Resurgent also has more TIE fighters on board that are also way more advanced and on top of that are actually shielded compared to the Imperial II's TIE fighters.
While it's obvious that in Star Wars Canon the Imperial II would stand no chance in this game the battle will probably look very similar to this one but with more lag because of the ship sizes :p
Steyn the resurgent also has fewer weak spots than the imperial II and has a back up bridge

On a side note, maybe if you used the explosive jump drives mod, that could make these videos even more exciting! (and explosive!)

FOR THE EMPIRE! Btw. you should use Star Destroyer more, considering it's power, I'd be glad if you'd use it against numbers of enemies(it should verse basically any kind of destroyer with few fighters, or two destroyers or corvettes, the best battle I can imagine would be if you'd find properly sized Mon Calamari and add shielding stronger than SD's to it).

Would've been more interesting if venom in the clearly less gunned up ship used more tactics, he obviously had maneuverability advantage, so if he had skirted around and come at jack from a slightly "lower" relative altitude and from behind while also angling to allow all of one sides trench guns as well as the main turbolasers to all fire at jacks relatively unprotected lower rear end.....
can u do the same battle but with less laser a star destroyer dont shoot that much and add fighter or thing like that :D

I think you should do a battle between 3 Venators and 3 droid ships. Or you could also try 2 or 3 Venators against that Star Destroyer since the single venator was beaten every time.

That Imperial Star Destroyer seems way OP, the fire rate on those main turbolaser batteries is way too high. To make it a truly fair fight you'd need an entire battlegroup of at least 6 Venators to match that firepower.
the venator doesn't focus on fire power, it mostly just releases ship to protect and attack others, the imperial star destroyer was more of a BOOM BOOM BOOM than carrying ties
(Edit) what i'm saying is that if the venator had ships it would probably chave me close or maybe defeating the imp star destroyer

You'd probably need to invest in ridic amounts of RAM upgrades to do this but I'd love to see a battle between an Impy SD and a fleet of Rebel starfighters using the Fleet Command mod in addition to what you're already using

Indeed, the imperial class destroyer in 1 on 1 battle destroys a venator without being much damaged in return. This is due to the difference in doctrine. The venator is intended to make extensive use of foghters, whereas the imperial class is intendet to rely on fighters only to help its anti-fighter defenses, and destroy any strategic installation by raw firepower. With its whol fighter complement and avoiding the range of the Imperial destroyer, the venator would manage to wait for the other ship to get badly damaged before geting itself into fight (lets say a fighter can destroy some weapons of the destroyer) and then would have a good chance at wining. Howether, without fighters, the venator is simply no match.

I am very much interested in games that focus on space naval battles. Any recommendations? I like Battlefleet: Gothic a whole lot but I'd like a game that focuses more on controlling all the details of your ship, like: engine power, which cannons to use, sending fighter and bomber squadrons etc.
