@@LarcsWorkshop All done, after a trip to the parts shop because they sold me one for a short wheel base 🙄 My van went in for its mot yesterday and failed because tester guy snapped cable 😳 he couldn’t fix it for two weeks 😤 I need my van for work! Watching your video saved the day! Thank you 🙏 i wouldn’t have attempted it if you hadn’t made that video! I hope you realise how brilliant you are 😂
Just worth noting that later vivaro have a different and improved method of connecting the centre to the front section with a pin amd clamp arrangement. Also the centre section will vary from swb and lwb.
Good video thanks for sharing. I have a Renault traffic 2.0 2014. the middle cable has snapped. I noticed you used string to pull the new cable through. the cable I have is all in one .there's no way the ball on the end of the cable will go through the rubber grommets on the chassis .any ideas🤔
@LarcsWorkshop thanks for your reply. I've noticed that the hole In the grommets actually expand. there's small cut outs from the centre of the hole so might manage to pull the new cable through with the string
Hey bud thanks for the video your the only one I have found doing the front part witch is what I need to do lol mine is the mk7 transit but very similar so thanks
I got one of these to to today!. The primastar has some good and not so good design ideas!.. the galvanized underbody was a good one!. The underside can last years!. Everything else wears out😂. Total flip to the datsun cherry of yesteryear!.
Good video. Would be a lot better to let people know that the string step it’s a must. I didn’t do that and now i’m stuck into getting the cable over the tank… ☹️
@@LarcsWorkshopyeah I bought both those parts you showed from euro car parts and neither include that coupling you had. I can't see it for sale on eurocarparts website so if anyone has a link I'd be grateful.

I've learnt loads from these videos. It's certainly given me more confidence to work on parts of my 2014 Sportive (called Van Diesel) myself 😅
Thanks, I'm glad they are of some help 👍. That's a great name 👌.
Spot on video, helped a load when I did my brakes 👍🏻
@@kevgreathead1886 Thanks, glad it was of some help 😁
Attempting my cable today! Thank you so much for making these videos 👍🏽

I’m attempting my cable today, thanks for that comment as I was sure the parts guy had given me the wrong cable 😊
Hopefully it’ll be straight forward!

@@bc-mr1si . Thanks 👍. It sounds like a slightly different design to Vinnie, can you pop out the grommets and pass it through separately?

Hi there. How easy is it to replace the dust shields on the rear discs? Mine have rusted and need replacing?
Not sure really, but I expect you'll have to take the caliper, disc and hub off to get to it. Good luck sorting it out 🤞.
Cheers Larcs 👍

I made a sidepipe exhaust on mine. That made it a lot easier when I needed to change the cable 😊
Good work 👌
@@LarcsWorkshop well you did a better job because you had it much harder. I could lift mine all the way and there was no exhaust in the way 😊
