Leaving Kyiv On A Refugee Train 🇺🇦

- 🇺🇦 With reports that the city of Kyiv was soon to be closed off I decided the best thing to do was to join the crowds and leave for the border before being stuck. Whilst it was a sad to see the people leaving their homes behind and taking their kids and pets with them towards an uncertain future it also showed the best of the people. Spirits were high, nobody panicked, people shared food and drinks with each other. It was humbling to be a part of it.

It was so hard to get on even those trains, so I decided that it was my last chance to get to Poland.(I was right, because nest day there were even more people waiting) We were staying about 8 hours on Ukrainian - Polish border and we had no idea to which city we are going to.

But, anyway I feel ok right now and I have already found friends in this school. (I don't have a Paypal account or any other bank account now)

Holy shoot. Seeing the children. All of a sudden I knew exactly what they were feeling. I remember being evacuated. I remember my Dad boosting me, my Mum, and my sisters on to the truck, and my feeling of panic when he didn't get on, he just stood as the truck pulled away and I didn't understand why he didn't get on. He was staying behind to fight. My gosh, all those years ago, and seeing that little girl on the train it brought it all back. The fear and confusion. No fun. No fun at all.

Everyone deserves to see this video, it's as close as we will get to a first hand experience of knowing what Ukraine is like right now, without being in the thick of it. Thank you for sharing this Bald 💜

Truely an amazing vlog. Quite gripping at some moments.

@@Sweatcheck69 I love this channel too but you're really going to disrespect the war reporters literally on the scene of the actual battles? Wtf? Just saw coverage today where they were on a bridge immediately after a battle with dead bodies & blown up vehicles everywhere still smoking, & the reporter almost stepped on a grenade that didnt go off.
Yeah the MSM is normally s****,* but that doesnt mean the actual good reporters risking their lives like that should be s***** on when they're ACTUALLY doing war time reporting on the front lines
Thank you for sharing this video showing the reality of the people of Ukraine. Such a sad situation. My heart goes out to them.

heartbreaking is what has been happening in Luhansk and Donetsk for the last 8 years.

@@vodka1sugar910 You've been deceived by a murderer. What exactly would you expect from Russian government? Not peace. Not food, not shelter. Misery and poverty. Why would you oppose to join the western world? And now the suffering, made by your stubborness, your vain pride? Putin doesn't care for you, nor your families.
He cares for himself, he loves the money. He loves the power. Not you. Wake up. This is such tragedy. You saying that heartbreakig is what has been happening in DNR and ŁRL is despicable.
You had your own share of war, I don't doubt it. The ideals may change, "only cow doesn't change their mind", we say here. It is time to recognize that the man you looked up for so long, turned out to be a murderous fiend.

well said!
respect for ukraine!
Wasn’t he supposed to stay back and fight for his country? Or did the president announce that after he left?
If so, It’s crazy that if he would’ve stayed a couple more days he would’ve been stuck and had to fight in the war!
With love from Ukraine 🇺🇦 thanks world for your support. Best wishes for everyone
You are epic my friends... god bless and thank you for all of your documented trips, very insightful for the world!
This is probably the closest to true reporting I'll ever see on what's going on over there. You're actually out there and speaking with people, when everyone else has been fishing for snappy headlines and quotable propaganda.
I am glad you and so many others are safe. I am scared that so many still aren't.
He left though..?
Nah..I don't blame him..
but so far.. there is very little evidence of any deliberate nastiness against civilian areas
@@JETJOOBOY Little? Haven't you seen the news? There's enought videos to see that theres indeed violence against civilian areas, missiles, tanks, and that's for now. Not only that, but there are thousands of refugees showing up into my country, and I'm in the the westernmost point in Europe.
@Dalara Razan This is the dumbest shit I've heard in a long time.
A guy with a camera filming himself while leaving the country is hardly "reporting". Making it more dramatic by insinuating Kyiv is about to be overrun and he's about to catch the last train is quite disgusting.
There are hundreds of actual reporters still in the country filing their reports daily to media worldwide. I don't know what kind of media you're consuming, but actual reporters have been talking to everybody from regular people to the president.
@@saschamaj completely agree. Honestly I can’t stand these sort of comments - as if a completely unregulated, unqualified youtuber who left the area before much happened is going to be able to provide more accurate ‘reporting’ than a seasoned, resourced professional (and very brave)reporter who’s actually there.
the civilian side of conflicts like these is often neglected to the extent it should be but your documentation here has shown it better than any piece of media I have ever seen
@Dalara Razan lol, Donbass is a fucked up Russian social experiment. Even at this very moment Putin is bombing Russians in Ukraine without remorse in places like Kharkiv. He doesn't care. Russia has been terrorizing the people in eastern Ukraine for years and claiming it's Ukraine who's doing it. That's how they created the excuse for the war.
