Man that was close won't be long somebody going to have one on the ground.stsy safe and straight arrows.
Not trying to be a know it all but I hunt with a decoy a ton here in NY , and 99.99999% of the time a buck will circle down wind as that one did in the video. With the wind you had the decoy needed to be 20yds to the right and he would have circled right into you . Keep up the great work guys !!

around minute 8:20 I noticed the small buck walk right out in the opening for the shot but the mature buck cut the corner a little just to keep himself behind a small row of brush and not offer a shot

Good job on getting on some good deer I shot a mule deer buck October 6th, he was a giant deer 13 points with a pse brute force lite at 60 lbs and I’m only 15 did it all by my self public land

Only thing I've had come in so far this season is other hunters. Guys working dogs and a lost horse. I'm glad yall make these videos so I could see what hunting is actually like lol.

Now this is just my opinion but......I watch your channel to watch the challenge of hunting mature bucks on public land. I do not wanna watch you guys take out younger class bucks (Michigan was an exception because it was a lot harder hunting and last day) but Ted.... don’t sell yourself short and settle. We already know you are capable of taking out some giant bucks. I hope this doesn’t discourage anyone from what or how they hunt. Just saying what I like from the channel. Good luck guys!!!

That's some good shit when a deer starts coming in and you know you are going to shoot him and your heart is pounding in your chest and you start shaking. Suddenly you cant hardly pull back your bow, especially if you're cold, to begin with. Take it from an old Viet Nam Marine that this experience is the closest I get to actual combat. You are really ALIVE then !!!!!!! I love your vids !!!!!!!

Decoys can be a good tool. Sensitive to the rut for sure. Apply some tarsal scent to the decoy or very close to the dec on a wick. The dec gives the visual but ya got give something to his nose when he does come in. After watching those two I wonder if rattling would a brought in for a quick look without a dec..

This just goes to show you cant kill bucks sitting on the couch at home because you got off work late and you only have 2 hours a daylight left. Ted only needs 30 min, to find and kill bucks !! Great footage too !
What ended up happening on that last day in Michigan? Last we heard on Joe's buck kill video, Ted and Zac where gonna go back in and try and kill 1 of them 2 big ones they saw.

00:24 was that fawn really that small and brightly spotted, that thing was only about a month old and most likely will not survive the winter.
