Since I’m in the Ryobi not Reeobe tool line (& Rigid) I’m going to have to procure one of these bad boys! I’ll clean myself off with this vacuum every day instead of taking a shower. That’s real nasti like!
We have the 18V ONE+ HP CORDLESS PET STICK VAC KIT WITH DUAL-ROLLER BAR KIT, and it works GREAT at our house. We have hard flooring in all rooms. It's not so good on carpets though as the roller bars get bogged down pretty easily. The kit comes with several attachments which give the "Vac" multiple use capabilities. With having a German "Sheddar" dog in our house, we do a LOT of floor sweeping. The robot vac we have doesn't come close to our RYOBI not Re-obi stick vac's suck capabilities. It's also easy to remove the roller bars and clean off all the stuck dog hairs etc with a pair of scissors.
Certainly not up to the standards of Dewalt and Milwaukee, but I love the fact they are backwards compatible and I can buy three of them when on sale for the same price as one Milwaukee. I pulled a circular saw off the shelf of my father in-laws garage and put in a bat tray and that 20+ year old saw ran like a champ.
Hey Clint it's the only stick vac from Ryobi that actually lists the cubic feet per minute at 23CFM... None of the others do, which make me suspect if their power.🤔 Your shop is so clean and we'll organized that I'm windering if any work is actually going on in thar🙄 Nice Rhino Liner 🦏 in your pickup truck 🛻, and that's kind of clean too, just saying 🤨 Not that your fans notice these things 🤤 Love your content as always 🧰
I just got mine through the $199 ryobi days deal. Only complaint so far is that the trigger requires much more force to activate the vacuum than other hand held vacuums.
I texted my dentist's office manager while watching this and some how hit the microphone and it starting typing exactly what you were saying about hepa filters and such. I went to stop it and hit send instead. She texted me back with WTH? lol.
I just recently got the Dewalt 20v MAX Stick Vacuum tool only $149.00 it's really good I like it but I would like to see some comparison with other ones.
I love the pronunciation reminders. You are correct my friend. Awesome vacuum. My local store finally got the pistol blowers in. Bought one today. Just in time, because I'm about to buff and ceramic coat my car. Going to hose it down just to see how fun it is to dry it off.
Was an avid Ryobi consumer until the first I needed customer support and discovered Ryobi does stand behind their products. Will never buy another Ryobi product and will be switching over to Dewalt.
I used to repair power tools for my job. By far, I saw more Ryobi and Rigid tools come through my shop than anything else. With the former, it was usually about a year before they stopped working, With the latter, about two to three years. Take that for what it is.
1 year? I use my Ryobi tools frequently and don't baby them. They have held up well. Honestly I am impressed for the price. I have Milwaukee as well. I would say the Ryobi tools have a noticeable difference in some performance aspects but they have been just as reliable.
My experience has been just the opposite. I have not had a single Ryobi tool break on me. I bought my first set over 10yrs ago when i bought my house. I use them regularly. Just built a Deck last year with that set.
I've had some tools for more than 15 years plus lots of new tools, probably about 20 tools. Not one of them has stopped working. I've used them for tons of projects.
Nice vacuum. I need to order one from the Americas because this model isn't stocked in Australia (if it is, please someone @ me). This looks perfect for car cleans and around the house spot jobs. Probs good enough for a single bedroom apartment too. Sweet review!
I like how Ryobi seems to give you a lot of stuff to go along with their tools. Downside is sometimes those are proprietary parts. That old circ saw I had of theirs did the job, but I had to go to the HD for blades, I stead of the local hardware store 1 mile away. We’ve had some flooding in basements here in town, and I was looking at the m12 stick pump verses the Ryobi stick pump. The Ryobi is cheaper, and comes with more stuff, and pumps 15 gallons per minute vs the m12 9gallons per minute. I wish they had them in store so I could compare build quality, because I expected the Milwaukee to be a bit better, but they look similar from the pics and videos I’ve seen. For example, the part that the hose connects to looks like plastic on both. .So, I think the Ryobi wins that contest for me. Have you tried either of them?
By Golly, that's real nice like. I was just using my compact Milwaukee vacuum under the couch cushions earlier today and found $400, true story. On my way to Home Depot in my sedan and some scary crazy fella in a big new fancy truck like Vince probably drives wasn't too happy I drive slow and safe here in Florida, he floored it and wasted a bunch of fuel just to beat me to the red light. These whippersnappers never learn.
The 2nd time today I got WOWWED!!! The 1st was my new Lews fishing Rod. WhyWhy did you do this to me? Ridgid got anything new coming out in a vaccum? I got the old Risgid one?
Damnit. Algorithim should have brought me to this video a month ago! Already bought 2 milwaukee suckers to put accessories of one onto smaller one to get what you got right thar. Milwaukee suckers still real nice, but wanted kids to use for dog hair chore too, ryobi got it all in that one. All tool suckers blow away dysons or any other redonkulously overpriced option. Excellent review!
The Ryobi HP stuff sucks. I have been using Ryobi 18+ tools since 2010. I have over twenty tools and everyone is still running. Except the HP tools I have 4 and 2 have died. One was out of warranty so I ate the one. The other has been replaced 3 times.
lady at Home Depot told me to decline a 2yr warranty on a Ryobi tool, saying HD stands behind it. I asked about Husky and she said no. So maybe try a swap?
if you are new to power tools, start with some other brand. if you buy Ryobi products and the batteries start dying, you will be sorry and their customer service will find any way not to replace them even if they are in the warranty period. pay a little more and get better quality
On the other hand, for just a hobbyist, Ryobi has an incredible breadth of tools, making their batteries incredibly versatile. That flexibility can be worth it if one thinks they'll utilize many different types of tools. They're not as compact with their battery design sticking out the top whereas pretty much every other brand has switched to the side-in design, which can be a downside, but it means the new batteries work with even extremely old Ryobi tools. That's of course a trade off that doesn't make sense for new consumers, to your point. For more focused use-cases there are certainly other brands that perform better, and I have no doubt that other brands' batteries may stay good longer and may have better customer service. But Ryobi is _always_ running deals where you can get multiple batteries and one or two tools for 200 or 300 dollars, meaning you can get a pretty steady supply of new batteries for significantly less than other brands. It's a hard choice nowadays with cordless tools, but great to have so many options for the consumer.
@@OWSNubbles Ryobi is really versatile which is cool. But paying the extra money just to get extra batteries to cover their unreliable product just costs the consumer more in the end. Also, the larger batteries that are used with bigger ryobi products cost well over $200 each. When those go bad, you arent just getting them as a steady supply. They are too expensive. In the end, I've had mostly good luck with Ryobi over the past 25 years and theres no issue if they are willing to cover their faulty products. But thats the issue. I ts like pulling teeth to get them to cover a faulty product and I dont just have hundreds of extra dollars sitting around to get extra stuff I shoudlnt have to need.
That kit looks pretty complete for that price. That's a lot of suck for your buck
This comment is getting pinned! 🤣👊👊

Shweeeeet! I'm curious, can you hook it up to a sander or router to pick up dust? That would be REAL NASSSS LIKE!
You'd effectively can if the adapter fits this hose..... which it should 👊
I realized tti owns ryobi and bissel, and ryobi is basically Bissels cordless department
Wow, I never even thought about that. Right on 👊
How about the acesserry storage on that green giant
Non existent 🤣👊
How does this compare to the dual -roller vac? I’m looking for a vac that I’ll mainly use inside and I have mostly hardwood floors & my car.

Can you do a vs against the DeWalt vac they are both similarly priced rn
