What's going on guys, in the PTR and since the launch of Season 4 I have put countless hours into the Pit, and I figured I would give you guys my top 10 tips to pushing further into the Pit. 11. Don’t forget to update your aspects. When you break down gear at the blacksmith, and you have a higher roll aspect it’s updated in the codex, and you should update it on your gear too.

I'm failing at a little over tier 100 on some of the end boss mechanics that I'm not familiar with. I'm there pretty fast with plenty of time to deal with them but, when they are on low life, they are summoning what looks like a shadow ad demon which casts something that overwhelms my defences/healing/life. The last one was some sort of whirlwind that pulled me in. Is there somewhere I should be standing to dodge that? Do I need to be ready with blood mist to get live through it?
@@wishlist011 yeah, if you have high movement speed and you can evade a couple times to get out of it. Or if you are on necro try and save your blood mist for that mechanic if possible
@@XPGamess Thank you. I'll try it. I've been trying (and failing) to find a safe spot in the middle of the whirlwind, I'm guessing you mean evade out of it to the edge of the area?

Thanks for the tips. Other than the achievement is there any reason to do pits over 70? Ie more resources dropped.
Honestly, no other than being able to say you cleared a certain tier and I guess it does say something about your build but other than that no not really.
Wait you don't get more mats the higher you go?
@@wrydstepbr0_0 you do but it is diminishing returns. I think the most efficient level now is 101.
Dude... I used your first tip alone and jumped from lvl 73 Pit to 80 with no effort at all and it's looking like I'll be able to climb quite a bit higher without much changes. For that alone man take my sub. Thanks a ton
I recommend also going into the settings > gameplay and hiding damage numbers. This video is a good example of why damage numbers being displayed is bad - you can hardly see anything when those numbers start spamming up, meaning you could miss poison or fire explosions that are on the ground about to go off. Not as big a deal with ranged characters, but can cost you deaths/time for melee characters especially. Just turn them off, they aren't needed!
Does the double potion thing not work anymore?

Make sure you craft the quest elixer at the alchemist and not the elixir of poisin that the guy gave you! 😊@@matruwhat2965

Great vid man. I did not know about the Pinch of Posion quest and that you could use that with another elixir. Massive for my rapid fire rogue. All the other advice was really solid too. Subbed and liked. Keep making more!

The going "backwards" to farm lower tier mats really kills the joy for me. The HIGHER pits should include both the lower and higher tier of mats. Terrible design.
100% agree, they need to juice the rewards up in higher tiers
you can transmute higher tier mats into lower tiers.

Just exchange 1 for 3. You do farm lower mats at high levels.
@@glenmcl yes I know about exchanging but I just mean overall we should get rewarded with more at higher tiers for the difficulty
I only ever have like 15 runeshards at a time. Any advice on farming them?
They drop all over the place, hell tides and nightmare dungeons are probably the best places.

My jaw dropped when I saw the first tip, I thought it was just a bug that some people were able to use two elixirs at the same time lmao
Well, they changed it for season 5 so you will only be able to use it right now in season 4

there aren't enough "minions" in level 1 to bunch anything together, to even beat that level? where's the counter to let you know if you're even close to getting a portal? and why is the timer less than 10 minutes???? And bosses take forever to kill? how did I get to the end of game, have everything TEMPERED, can wipe level 140 bosses, have master crafted crap... wow, why is no one ever near the entrance? AND WHY DO YOU END UP IN THE SAME PIT WHEN YOU RESTART???
You must be talking about nightmare dungeons not the pit

the pit gets boring really fast, wish there was certain guaranteed GA's per tier and other rewards such as more gold and fragments for jewels. endgame activity with decent rewards.
I hear you and fully agree, rewards need a rework for higher tier pits
It's just an optional proving ground when you're pushing, making it more equitable for other players. If you lock rewards behind challenges that only no-lifers can do, then you create another problem.
@@vinberube136 True but, giving a bit more materials for crafting aren't really locking rewards not obtainable by all. It's just paying it forward to those who put in the time, everyone can get crafting materials from lower levels. More time and effort should always be rewarded,

Yes you can, the one is a quest elixir.
