I dropped 3 in a 4 x rotation doing Tormented Zir recently, but that's the best I've ever had. Have also done about 20 rotations and got none, so just the way RNG is I guess. Had a few in a previous season (the one where Duriel was introduced) but it was a lot tougher then. 7.5% chance of a drop from a tormented boss now. You can also get 3 sparks just for finishing the season, tormented boss etc.. it's not that hard really.
6 days of farming other peoples mats 😂 not saying it in a bad way, I would do the same but don’t act like it was a tough 6 day grind, killing bosses is fun, grinding the mats is the boring part

I was with a group did 40 Zir runs and got a doombringer and two spears around the 15th run. I kept going hoping to get a shako but no luck. I at least could now craft one. My gf called me and I asked her to wish me luck (she has never played) but she wishes me luck anyway and no shit I craft my first shako of the season and it has one GA......and......IT WAS CDR!!!!! I started screaming joy while she didn't understand she was super happy for me.

Anyways, i know i type this 7days later but this technique i give you there was used since first week.

Gave a rush to a lowbie a couple days ago. In 6 runs he got a GA CD shako and a GA move speed Tyraels before even getting to lv100. Glad for the dude but also wanted to chuck a stapler at his head lol.
@Rob2628 there is no grief factors in masterworking. From the start of stage 1/12 you always start with the 1.5% chance of triple rolling the same affix if there is only 4. The correct match is 4x4x4. When you get to the last one it’s ALWAYS a 25% chance to get the roll you want. Unlike the Ubers, blizzard has never confirmed your chances increase. It’s always the number of affixes/100% which in the case with Ubers is…25%. That is the correct math.
Someone in Trade chat today shared a 4 GA Shako they got from NORMAL Duriel. If that happened to me, I'm quitting. I'd be chasing that dopamine for the rest of eternity
I know the feeling. Over Sumer break I farmed 7 of 8 Ubers and then season 5 hit. My bash barb got screwed and my Ubers invalidated…. There is a good ending though as I got incredible luck and found a god tier farming group and got ALL 8!!! I also fixed my barb and am eating good.
I've had 1 uber drop in 40+ runs. That aside, I can't get Fists of fate to drop. So many Beast runs and not one. Previous seasons it got binned and dropped all the time. Now that it can be used, nada lol
You need a course in probability. If I remember correctly the equation would be (1/4) cubed which is 1.5% chance of the same number out of 4 three times in a row.
He also never has to farm mats for bosses he gets thousands of tormented boss runs for free from all the people in his community feeding him mats, which is why he has so many Ubers
I just returned to diablo iv two days ago and my friend took me to a tormented duriel as a lvl 88 barb just for gear. A harlequin crest dropped for me, the helm he's been and could never get. He wasn't happy. I'm at a loss because I don't have any idea of how low the drop rates are for these things.

Congrats on getting the GA on CDR 🎉. I have to say the math though is pretty wrong 🤣. If you are interested what really are the odds you can calculate 0.9^20 (I think you had 16+4 shakos produced) which is the chance of getting no GA (if there is 10% chance of getting 1 to 4 GAs, the chance of getting none is 90%). So there was still a roughly 12,2% chance of getting no GA out of 20 tries. The chance of getting a GAs on every roll is 0,1^20 which is 0,1*10^-20 (veeeeery low). Last your chance of getting one GA out of 20 was 0,1^1*0,9^19*20 (20 bc you could have got the GA on one of 20 tries, If we pretend you would do 20 tries no matter what). So the chance you hit was: ~27%

Something's gotta be done about the gem mats, cause I've got 4 level 100 characters and only 1 royal ruby. I've been farming hellhordes for mats too. Royals needs to be 5000 fragments.
@@gopatriots1991 been doing this, and with gems at 10k a piece it's taking quite some time, it's also annoying having to pay gold to unsocket gems to pass them between characters. The hordes are a definite step in the right direction, just still poor gold management, over all. Upgrading a potion should not cost 7 million gold, who's idea was that? Temper being a weighted system still needs to be fixed and it's awful when you're spending 5mil+ gold to get the right roll on gear, then brick it by rolling a bad temper. I'd like to know who is the head developer that's okay'ing all the poor game patch decisions.

Honestly tell them to change the masterworking, instead of fully resetting it, make it to where it only goes back to the previous four levels, wasting gold on it to get what you want masterworked is so annoying.

OMG ROB! How do you do it? HOW? How is your drop rate for Mythic drops so HIGH? I played 23 tormented runs yesterday in a 4 player group and only ONE Mythic dropped for me! Is there really such a thing a streamer servers?
You just got unlucky I've probably done about 15 rota of Uber bosses and have gotten about 8-10 ubers

@@BuRstGuardian Unlucky I guess is one way of saying or another is I have shit RNG because since the new season has started I’ve only had 3 total drops of Ubers and I’ve ran COUNTLESS rota! I’m just frustrated that I should have a killer Uber build already after all the time I’ve played this season.

I only have 1 mythic unique which is a shako with GA on CD and hit 3 times MW on CD with 56% in total. RNG god blessed me.

Something's gotta be done about the gem mats, cause I've got 4 level 100 characters and only 1 royal ruby. I've been farming hellhordes for mats too. Royals needs to be 5000 fragments.

Infernal horde. Spend pts on mat. chest. Gems were finished very quickly.
@@gopatriots1991 been doing this, and with gems at 10k a piece it's taking quite some time, it's also annoying having to pay gold to unsocket gems to pass them between characters. The hordes are a definite step in the right direction, just still poor gold management, over all. Upgrading a potion should not cost 7 million gold, who's idea was that? Temper being a weighted system still needs to be fixed and it's awful when you're spending 5mil+ gold to get the right roll on gear, then brick it by rolling a bad temper. I'd like to know who is the head developer that's okay'ing all the poor game patch decisions.
@@caseystrong9582 youre simply lying...when you do 4-5 horde runs (bad rng)you get mats for at least 1royal gem.
So either you dont know what infernal horde is and you do helltides all day or youre talking bullshit.
@@RndnamexD um, no I'm running tier 5 hordes and getting the gems and gear mats chest, so either I'm right or my games not actually adding every gem shard I pick up to inventory. Or I'm not getting ruby shards to drop out the chest or something. Cause It's what I'm running over and over. Only have 2 royal Ruby's now...

Honestly tell them to change the masterworking, instead of fully resetting it, make it to where it only goes back to the previous four levels, wasting gold on it to get what you want masterworked is so annoying.
I have been running a rabies wolf build in hordes and it works very well. I'm not great at builds though.
