So true, I recently got my SL established 2 weeks ago and was so happy to show an update on a SL/ML facebook group, only to get negativity. I quickly learned to unfollow those groups. I love my locs and enjoy focusing on helpful content like this.

Congratulations! Same here! I was turned 1 year in February. I've been asked to submit a 4th head and it's been a little frustrating when my mentors are saying my work looks great, but my evaluator (who is just a consultant) has been very nit-picky with my work. 😭 I will continue to try, though, since I've already paid for it, but my business is still thriving regardless.

Hey @jusdenyse!!! Congrats on your first year!!! I took the Sisterlocks class in December of '21 and I have yet to get a client LOL!!!!! I am still not discouraged but I am getting a lil worried cause I do not want to forget the process. I feel exactly how you felt; although I took the course, I still do not feel totally confident. As you mentioned, the course taught you the technique but there is no way to learn all you need to know in two days. Also, there is no one in my area where I can actually observe on a regular. Anyhoo, thanks for your video!!

Do you think it’s worth taking sisterlock class if you already know how to do microlocs. Also can you get a suite if your a certified loctician without cosmetology license

I don't understand how the sisterlock community is so cultish but yet you don't even need a cosmetology license to do them LMAO they can't be serious somebody is going to come along figure out a different strategy learn sisterlocks and teach it without your permission.
