Here i am using a older v8 model with a ho milwaukee battery so it's small but powerful and a a omniglide head I converted. The older models worked great and were light its like we are going backwards now lol. I bought mine used for 80 bucks 6 years ago and have a basically brand new full size carpet head, the v6 slim carpet head for rugs, and now the omniglide head for hardwood. Plus a bunch of other accessories. But to put it into perspective the v8 has just slightly reduced maxed suction compared to the newer v12. But I have multitudes of milwaukee batteries so I can run boost non stop. A 12amp does boost for about 50 minutes which is nuts. So instead of buying a expensive new model consider a older one and newer heads
Can I add the mini motorized tool to the omni glide?
Omni Glide does clean carpet. Use the spot cleaning/stairs attachment. A bit small but better than nothing.
Yes, that's true, but it won't be as efficient :)
I was really suprised how well the omniglide works on carpets.
You say the omni glide cleans in both directions but you don't show that (1:42). You don't need to swivel the head, that is the whole point.
Just a perfect test. Thankyou so much!
Thank you so much, this comparison has helped me decide it’s the micro that I need so I can also clean my rugs 🙏👍
Glad it was helpful!

Have you tried the Hard floor tool from the Micro on the omni? will that work on carpets?
It won’t the hard floor tool is for floors onlu
Very helpful video. Does the micro head work on the Omni when used on carpet?
Yes, it will work. The cleaning heads are interchangeable.
Does the longer tube from micro fit/work on the omni for better use for tall people?
Yes it will fit. The connecting points are the same.
Great video! That last differentiator did it for - micro it is!
Awesome
Great video! Thank you!
