Got one yesterday. The small motorised head tool keeps stopping when hoovering the sofa, when I use a backward stroke only it fails less, but push it forward and the brush stops spinning. Going to ask dyson to replace the head. The hard floor head works ok, nowhere near the suction of the v8 though, I think tbh this micro will need to be used in max power mode all the time. But even when I’m full power, that small motorised tool keeps stalling. Thanks for the cleaning tips sir! 👍
I recently got the next size up, the v12. Using the main cleaning head to clean kitchen and hallway is fine, but as soon as I went onto the doormats, it too stopped going round! Have tried it 3-4 times now. I had to swap out the big end for the small pet hair cleaning end, and that DID work. It was hard going though.
Thank you for your informative videos! I have the absolute plus, and have only had it for about a month and accidentally vacuumed a very small amount of water, less than a tablespoon, but when I noticed I immediately turned it off and emptied the bin to wipe it out, and noticed water was around the metal mesh part, not a lot but it was wet to the touch, I dried it out and it seems to be working fine, but I want to make sure I haven’t damaged the machine and or in the future it won’t break down because of this, any tips or suggestions if anyone accidentally vacuums a small amount of water, please and thank you
If you vacuum any water up, i would recommend not using the vacuum at all and making sure the bin and filters are completely dry after about 24-48 hours.

You missed out in the video: the battery which overtime the runtime you get from it will gradually start to reduce!
I'm on my 3rd battery on Dyson V8 in 4 years. You 're right about the battery!

@@lords-electrical what's the name of srewdriver does it t10 or 15?
Can you post a link for a compatible filter? The original one is over priced on official dyson website
Although you can get compatible filters online, I would still recommend sticking with the genuine filters.
Hi where can I buy an extra filter? Can you send me a link
Personally, I prefer to call the Lance "Excalifur", Destroyer of pet hair. I only disassemble mine with a Merovingian Tremmissis.
ha ha brilliant
Very helpful. Thank you.
Its a pleasure, thanks for the feedback
Love your help!
Hi, are you able to demo how to disassemble and correctly clean a Shark please?
Which Shark model?
@@xXRaziakXx Hi, my particular model is a NV602UK 👍
Go to his page and type Shark in the search bar and see if it comes up.
