I’d love to see you compare the dyson v15 detect+ versus the dyson outsize absolute+. Struggling between the two as the v15 has some nicer newer features but the absolute+ is larger but also comes with the same laser slim fluffy cleaner head
To be honest, between those two, I'd always go for the V15 unless you don't have a huge house that you need to vacuum. Otherwise, the Outsize is just too big and heavy in comparison and it's just a slightly older technology because it's in fact a bigger V11 that got rebranded when the V15 came out, so it doesn't sound old to potential buyers.
I'd like to know as well. I'd still use that with a carpet, even with the smaller bin size. I'd still rather empty a bin every room or too than deal with a cord.
The Micro 1.5kg and Omni Glide have a smaller diameter to the other Dyson cordless models to attachments from the them will not fit these 2 smaller cordless machines.
@@Dysonballs That's a disappointment. For a rug or two I guess you can just use the mini tool, but if you have more carpet than that, the Micro is basically useless until they release a torque head design sized for it...
@Steamrick it is especially if you have a few rugs but the rest of your apartment or small home is hard floors. The Mini Turbohead would be ok I would of thought for the odd rug. I’m sure some will use it for that! Dyson have marketed these as hard floor only machines with a few above floor cleaning tools. Hence the slim profile, small bin and shorter runtime. Just a little idea... Since festool has been in the vacuum business for quite some time now, could you review one of their products please? I know they are not really meant for household use but i use one and find it amazing.
What a great product, I have been concerned about the weight on the cordless vacuum clearer and therefore not bought one. Having 5 long hair cats, it would be great to know how it works on silky cat hair from ragdoll as well as from Siberians both on hard floor, carpets and sofas.

Dyson is getting good at fragmented products. Though the micro is small, the battery and width of the floor head doesn't have to be as small (reusing existing parts and compatibility). The soft roller doesn't have the laser light found on the V15. This more expensive than a Dyson V8 where its only fault is its pre-motor filter which requires cleaning from inside
Great for kids too! My sister has a lot of hard wood floors and kids who could use this to clean. It’s cool looking and there’s no cords to snag or tangle. Perfect for older kids.
Love my V15 Detect... it SUCKS. It really SUCKS. To solve the handheld vac issue... I picked up an aftermarket hose. It works great for getting into tight areas or using in the car. I think it was about $12 on Amazon and is a totally worthwhile purchase.
This is extremely intriguing. :) Though… I DO find the lack of trigger weird. You would think that the bigger vacuums for bigger jobs would have an “always on” button, and that the micro vacuum for small jobs would have the trigger suction. So it seems backwards? I would prefer the trigger button for this micro. Anyways, it looks great. The price is steep, so it’s hard to justify both a full-size Dyson and the micro but… I want both! Lol I want the micro for tight spaces, the car, and house dusting… but the big Dyson for floors.
I've got the Outsize and I think having an always on button for that would be nice. Maybe even the option to use the trigger for short cleaning or pressing a button to just leave it on. The Micro certainly would be better with a trigger, as it doesn't have enough battery size to wear out your finger, plus you want to have the easy on/off of a trigger to maximize the short battery life while using it for dusting.
I also have this vacuum. And honestly I don't think it's worth it. The V15 is much better and still lighter than any upright vacuum. Plus the micro can't clean carpet and the bin is just to small. Plus I don't like the position of the power button because now a one handed job needs 2 hands because the button is on top of the vacuum
