    So, when are robot vacuums going to come with a soft roller option? Today I use my S9 on my hardwood floors and then follow with the Bravaa Jet M6 with the dust mop attachment, works great, but seems just a soft roller on an inexpensive bot would kill hardwood floor tests for bots.

    I’d love to see you compare the dyson v15 detect+ versus the dyson outsize absolute+. Struggling between the two as the v15 has some nicer newer features but the absolute+ is larger but also comes with the same laser slim fluffy cleaner head

    • @MrBritishComedy
      @MrBritishComedy 2 года назад

      To be honest, between those two, I'd always go for the V15 unless you don't have a huge house that you need to vacuum. Otherwise, the Outsize is just too big and heavy in comparison and it's just a slightly older technology because it's in fact a bigger V11 that got rebranded when the V15 came out, so it doesn't sound old to potential buyers.

      I'd like to know as well. I'd still use that with a carpet, even with the smaller bin size. I'd still rather empty a bin every room or too than deal with a cord.

    • @Dysonballs
      @Dysonballs 3 года назад +3

      The Micro 1.5kg and Omni Glide have a smaller diameter to the other Dyson cordless models to attachments from the them will not fit these 2 smaller cordless machines.

    • @Steamrick
      @Steamrick 3 года назад

      @@Dysonballs That's a disappointment.
      For a rug or two I guess you can just use the mini tool, but if you have more carpet than that, the Micro is basically useless until they release a torque head design sized for it...

    • @Dysonballs
      @Dysonballs 3 года назад

      @Steamrick it is especially if you have a few rugs but the rest of your apartment or small home is hard floors. The Mini Turbohead would be ok I would of thought for the odd rug. I’m sure some will use it for that!
      Dyson have marketed these as hard floor only machines with a few above floor cleaning tools. Hence the slim profile, small bin and shorter runtime. They have aimed them both at apartments and small homes with all or mainly hard floors. Or if a big house that wants a light machine for quick daily cleans on the hard floors!
      Suppose they would want you to pick one of the other cordless models if you have some rugs or carpets! Yet people probably prefer these lighter slimmer models!

    Dyson is getting good at fragmented products. Though the micro is small, the battery and width of the floor head doesn't have to be as small (reusing existing parts and compatibility). The soft roller doesn't have the laser light found on the V15. This more expensive than a Dyson V8 where its only fault is its pre-motor filter which requires cleaning from inside

  • @ketowolf
    @ketowolf 3 года назад +15

    This is extremely intriguing. :)
    Though… I DO find the lack of trigger weird. You would think that the bigger vacuums for bigger jobs would have an “always on” button, and that the micro vacuum for small jobs would have the trigger suction. So it seems backwards?
    I would prefer the trigger button for this micro.
    Anyways, it looks great. The price is steep, so it’s hard to justify both a full-size Dyson and the micro but… I want both! Lol
    I want the micro for tight spaces, the car, and house dusting… but the big Dyson for floors.

    • @Augownage
      @Augownage 2 года назад

      I've got the Outsize and I think having an always on button for that would be nice. Maybe even the option to use the trigger for short cleaning or pressing a button to just leave it on. The Micro certainly would be better with a trigger, as it doesn't have enough battery size to wear out your finger, plus you want to have the easy on/off of a trigger to maximize the short battery life while using it for dusting.

    I also have this vacuum. And honestly I don't think it's worth it. The V15 is much better and still lighter than any upright vacuum. Plus the micro can't clean carpet and the bin is just to small. Plus I don't like the position of the power button because now a one handed job needs 2 hands because the button is on top of the vacuum

    Hi
    I have the Dyson micro 1.5 UK version
    Can i use my Dyson V10 carpet brush attachment on the micro? I know Dyson micro 1.5 is only for hard floor. Thank you!

    Great videos! There is a dyson digital slim available for the asian market. I wonder how that stacks up against this model.

    This is just a rebranded Humdinger (now discontinued). Looks like I can try "micro" accessories with my humdinger now

    What is good ''lightest" and "strong" stick type carpet vacuum cleaner with cord?
    (I don't like to buy batteries.)

    If only they would make the dirt canister bigger these cordless vacuums would be better. I have a Dyson cordless and that’s the rate limiting factor.

      They have the outsize. If that’s not big enough for you then Dyson’s aren’t for you.

    Can you actually do a video showing us the difference between the duoclean zeroM and the new duoclean powerfins cuz I'm actually interested and wondering what's the big difference and do some powerfin heads have a removable brush roll cover ... and tell us all the differences between the 2 kinds of floor heads at least it would be nice for a shark uv700 vs uv850 comparison .... but really u can do it with any shark Upright that has both of those heads the DuoClean PowerFins,and DuoClean Zero M... I would like a deep comparison and us looking at how they both cut hair or how does the powerfin get rid of hair vs we already know how the zero m works... but still I would appreciate it pleassse

    I would love it if they could sell it as just a handheld. Lower the price, remove all accessories but the crevice and brush.

    There’s a dyson digital slim. It’s slightly bigger and slightly heavier but with a trigger.

    I’m thinking if you’re a dude and using something one handed less than 5lbs and it’s too much from you then you probably have senior citizens beat you up and take your lunch money.

    Good to know Dyson is keeping the premium price point on their products. lol
    One note is that the run time will get lower and lower as the battery ages (charge cycles).
